Meanwhile Core still rested in a coma on the ground.

Chiasa tried to bring Core around again. She was worried for him, so much. She needed to know that he was alright.

Because Kir didn't want Lily to see him crying...Kir shook his head again. This battle against the Academy keeps getting more and more personal.

Kir turned and hugged Lily close, "My sister...Amaranth is in that man's chest, in that glass...That's her life now!" Kieran's thoughts slipped over Kir's consciousness without taking Kir over.

Lily hugged him back, and lightly rubbed his back. "I can't even imagine how hard this must be," she murmured to him.

Kir held Lily for a few minutes. By the time he pulled away, he had recovered a little. He walked over to Core and lifted him up into his arms. He started walking back to the house again.

Lily walked alongside Kir. She could tell he was recovering, some.

Hiraru Sagara Gab watched the two sleep peacefully for a while before he climbed out of the bed and opened the door slipping out as quietly as a cat. He even used his tail to close the door behind him.
When the Dragon got downstairs he looked from the two knew people to Loki, Lucy and Matt. He galloped over to Loki, climbing up onto the cat-man's shoulders, "Loki, Can we play? I'm bored!"
Lucy laughed at the little exchange, and Matt seemed to be asleep.

Kir walked into Barick's house with adult Core in his arms. He stopped and wondered where he should put him.

There was a dull red glow above the city, coming from a fairly unfriendly figure...
Leonard looked down at the golden walls of the city, a little curious as to how much gold he could get if he sliced up the wall with his claw...
