Lucinda walked into the changing room. She was quick in changing into her bikini and pulled her clothes on over it. Then she walked out again. "Let's go pay," she said.

She nodded and followed her happily, she couldn't wait to go out and swim!

Lucinda stopped at the front desk, gave the woman there some coins. Then she walked out of the store, expecting Kira to follow.

Kira followed happily and walked next to Lucinda. "I wonder what kind of fish are in the waters. Oh what if there was a Krakken in there? That would be cool!" Her tail wagged happily as she walked, showing her happiness.

Didn't Krakens eat people? Lucinda shook her head. She certainly didn't want to meet one of those.

She walked down the beach and happily felt the sand between her bare feet. Looking at her she said. "I really like it here. It's so peaceful!"

Lucinda nodded and put her bag down. She pulled a blanket out and spread it on the sand for them to sit on. She stripped down to her swimsuit.

Kira set down her belongings next to the towel and laid down in the sand, it was so warm and formed to her body. "Mmm..The sand is so warm, it's like a bed." She closed her eyes and relaxed, listening to the waves and hoped a crab wouldn't come by and pinch her, like they had a habit of doing whenever she went to the beach.

Lucinda took off all the jewelry she was wearing, including a necklace with her family's coat of arms on it. She stowed it in her bag and laid down on the blanket, basking in the sun.

She slowly opened her eyes again and, a bit paranoid, she looked around quickly, seeing no crabs so far, she breathed a sigh of relief and closed them again.

She opened her eyes and, scanning around a bit, she said. "It's a curse I think..whenever I go to the beach and relax, no matter what I do, a crab always manages to catch me while my guard is down..Well this time will be different." Of course she said that for the last few times as well but it always happened.

She gave a small nod and leaned her head back into the sand, closing her eyes and enjoying the sun.

Lucinda began to doze in the warm sun. She didn't notice that they were other people on the beach a good distance down from the two of them.
