The doors to the library opened in a burst as Fera kicked them open, her face buried in a thick book. There had been something on her mind for the past few weeks and she was so close to finding it out. Her finger turned the page as the door slammed behind her. No sound but that of her footsteps was in the building, just as she had wanted. "Still no alarms...gosh these people really don't value their books do they?" She had never stopped to think that they just left it open all night so people could study...she had never studied so it never crossed her mind. Her eyes passed over a name in the book one last time. "Soul of Derma, well if that's what you're in then that's where I'm going." The book closed with a thud and she placed it into her mail-bag that she kept so close to her at all times. The clicks of her tall boots echoed thought the shelves of the huge library as she walked up and down looking for one book, this one book that may solve the puzzle. "Where are you? Come on." Fera muttered to herself well she glazed over hundreds and hundreds of books that covered every shelf. It only took her ten min. to find the book she had been looking for. On a high shelf near the end of a row rested a large leather bound book that had the words 'Soul of Derma' inscribed on the binding. A grin crept on her face as she reached for the book. Her hand feel about a foot short. "s**t..." She went onto what tip-toes she could to try and reach the book but she was still just under a foot short. Anger quickly rose inside of her. Why is it always me? Why is Karma coming after me now??

Cid entered the library to look for a book about how to shape his fire into other elements. He asked the librarian and the librarian pointed him in the right direction to a stack of books already put out. He walked to them and grabbed the top one, The Art of Flame Crafting it read. He grabbed the next three and sat down at the table and began reading the first one to himself. He made a rose of fire in his right palm as he read on. He read about how to make a shield out of invisible flame.

He finished reading the first one and began to read the second one. He pushed his glasses up as they fell when he continued to read about summoning blaze monsters with his fire power.

He left after checking them out.

Cid walked back into the library after he had done some much needed hot tubbing. He sat down at the table he had sat before. He pulled out his second book marked The Pyro's mastery. It seemed interesting to him so he began to read silently to himself, trying not to disturb anyone while he read. He had already made a disturbance in the hot springs and wasnt going to make another in this peaceful place of sanctuary and hopefully secrecy from the little one he had fought with. The book intrueged him more than he had expected as he read on.

He read more and more of the latin inscriptions and memmorized as best he could. Cid always has under stood latin, it goes along with his carpathian language. The book started to bore him so he picked another one up and began reading it. The book seemed to go on forever, he would glance up to look around at the people there but none probably cared he was there. He wondered if he could make friends in there but alas he still had no luck. Continueing his reading he reached the halfway point in the book and set it down. It seemed old and rugged so he stopped reading it all together. He switched to his other one and kept reading it instead. He felt better aboutwhat had happened at the hot spring and had cooled down aswell.

Alef burst into the library having no time to feel rude towards anyone, or the person she just ran off from. She could make it up to him later, as for the people disturbed from her rather noisy entrance, she couldn't care much for. Walking quickly, she went to the farthest aisle she knew of and sat down in the corner.

She pulled her cell out and dialed her voice mail before lifting the phone expectantly to her ear. There was a long silence, and a very thoughtful look came to her face, as if trying to understand what was being said. With a sigh, she clicked her phone shut and leaned back against the book shelf behind her.

She had just returned and gotten settled again, she wasn't about to go running off at the first call of something so little. For God's sake! She was a mess over this call, thinking something terrible had occured in her short absence. No, that wasn't the case, and it had her quite irritated. "I suppose I should be glad that it is nothing..." She whispered, simply sitting there.

Alef sighed and used the shelf to pull herself to her feet. Dusting her skirt off, she shook her head. Sitting around will do nothing for me... I hate being on call like this though... Walking back out from the further most aisle, she finally took notice of all who where currently in the library at the moment. She considered picking up a conversation, but they were in a library. How silly of me... She thought, before giving a small wave to the both of them and sitting down at a near by desk. Pulling out a small book, she breezed through a few pages, as though she were just checking over a few things.

He waved back at the girl who had busted in and with a quick wave and spun his chair on one leg while he continued reading. It was hard trying to concentrate on the book and balance himself but it was entertaining and it seemed to be a challenge enough for him so he continued spinning on the one leg and caught himself each time he made a slow full turn. He stopped and placed the book down. He finally decided to do it. He looked up at Kris and spoke, "hey what kind of sword style book is that?" Cid didnt know what else to say but he wanted to make a conversation at least.
