Mao was waiting outside for Nathan to finish. By now he had smoked almost half the pack he bought without realizing it.

Having paid and holding several bags, Nathan couldn't hug Mao the way he wanted to. Instead he leant in close to whisper into his ear.
"If you don't want to be seen with me, then say so..."

Mao gave him a slight smile and took some of the bags from him. "You're not the mean type. Don't try too hard."

Nathan shrugged. "For you, I could be. At least to a point..." he murmured, kissing Mao's cheek. Then he sped up. "Thought you were hungry?"

Nathan nodded again, then pulled Mao to a stop so he could have a hug. "I'll teach you, lover..." he whispered.

Mao smiled and kissed his lips ever so gently. To his misfortune, once again another group of high school girls was passing by but as he glanced over they all smiled and one gave him a thumbs up as she squeeled with joy and another pushed her along. Mao shook his head and stood up straight. "What is it with women? What obsession do they have with me?"

Nathan shrugged. "I don't know, but it might be possible... that they find you as gorgeous as I do..." he suggested, linking arms. "But either way... let's get you home so I have you all to myself..." he murmured, winking.

Nathan shrugged, snuggled in close, and kept walking until they got to Mao's door. "If you would do the honors...?" he suggested, holding up the shopping bags.

Mao opened the door and led him straight to the kitchen. "Anything you don't need just put away now so it doesn't get in the way."
