Riku stared her down. He was a bit surprised when the girl's expression turned guilty as though he'd caught her with her hand in the cookie jar. The silvernette watched, ready with weapon in hand but suddenly things changed. Hikari screamed out and her hands flew to her head. He recgonized the pain that showed across her face. Only a pain that Riku could understand. But he wasn't sure if he wanted to help her. He moved forwards and grabbed Naminé's elbow and crossed in front of her.

"You have to fight him..." Riku stated. His voice was an order but there was a softness in it.

Riku couldn't force his glare onto Alexander even has he shoved past him. It remained on the girl who had claimed to be his sister. Who had believed was his sister. In this form -- surrendering to the Darkness, he was nothing more than another being of the Dark and those beings were destroyed by he and Sora. The only thing that kept him from moving forward and showing mercy to Hikari by taking out her heart was the face that body held, the one identical to his. One that if he had a sister would have.

He watched as Alexander spoke through the girl and to his father. It was a pity that the girl had given her heart to him but what more was there to do. Only Sora or King Mickey could do anything for her now. A part of Riku grabbed Naminé's free hand, the part that knew this girl in pain was still his twin and was willing to forgive her and terribly afraid to lose her and would give anything to see her in the Light and...and...and the hand squeezed the blonde's tighter in despiration though Riku's expression never wavered from a glaring hate.

Naminé steeled herself, listening to the harshness of the double tone of Hikari's voice and upon hearing the words, she tensed. Her hand tightened around the handle of her Keyblade which she kept pointed at Hikari. Kingdom Hearts would rise again... Xmenas. It had to be him controlling the girl. Naminé opened her mouth to adress the former Nobody Leader rather than Hikari but suddenly, the dark silvernette hurled Dark Firaga at her.

The petite blonde stood her ground, her eyes flashing as she raised her weapon to a defensive position but closed her eyes. Her keyblade could only protect her so much. She was going to get hit... And then she heard Riku's voice. Her eyes snapped open and she instincively turned towards his voice. To her surprise, the Dark Firaga was nowhere insight. As though it'd vanished. Riku walked up to Naminé, grasping her elbow and moving her back while he stepped in front of her. The petite blonde stared up at him, saw the hatred in his eyes as he glared at Hikari, even when his sister fell to the ground in pain.

The hatred in Riku's eyes surprised her. But underneath the hatred, she could tell he was in pain. She could see it in the tenseness of his body, could feel it when he grabbed her free hand and squeezed it lightly at first, and then tighter. Naminé squeezed it back, wanting desperately to comfort the boy she loved. "Riku... Riku, she needs help. She needs the King," Naminé said gently. She didn't know how she would find the King, but she would. Because she knew that if Riku lost Hikari, it would affect him even if he tried not to let it. It would hurt him...

Riku struggled with Naminé's words. She did need help...but he didn't really want to help. He was torn almost completely in half. This was still his sister somehow, he knew that but loathed it entirely, but another part wanted so desperately to save her because it was his sister. Riku scowled. He had no choice. "Sorry, Naminé," he whispered as he apologized for the act he was about to commit. "Don't tell Sora." He let go of the blonde's hand and stepped away from her, his eyes never left Hikari and Alexander as Darkness began to twirl around him. He had to bring the King to her now. He let the Darkness swallow him up.


Riku's portal opened up in the Gummi Ship hanger at Disney Castle. He rolled his shoulders back swiftly before turning and searching the room. Chip and Dale were running towards him and he waved at them, showing that it was him and he meant no harm. That was when Mickey ran in. What was he suppose to say? Surely Xemnas couldn't just be destroyed. He had proven that. Maybe...would Riku take Hikari's burden as his own to releive his sister? He was certainly strong enough, or so he thought. The King called out his name in a bit of confusion. "I...Hikari, she needs you..." Riku stated and then explained what happened and his idea to transfer Xemnas from one heart to another...

Riku listened to the King. He verified everything. They had to get back to hikari and fast or he'd lose everything. The mouse scurried off. "I think I know a faster way!" Riku called after him when the small king rejoined him Riku created another dark portal and transported them back to the Land of Dragons. When they appeared they were standing behind his twin. Riku's eyes hardened once more as he look onto the girl and her dark form. He allowed his Keyblade to form in his hand and stepped forward.

"Xemnas! Hikari!" he called out both of their names, not sure who was actually more consious of the body now. "Fight someone who may actually stand a chance," he taunted. He wanted the girl to turn away from Alexander and Naminé. Riku wanted all attention on him. He stared at them. Maybe Xemnas would accept the exchange in hearts, especially if it was Riku's. His was almost identical to hers.

Riku countered the attacks, only one slipped past him and grazed his left arm. A small line off blood rolled down his skin. He glanced over at Mickey. He wasn't sure how to stop them but he had an offer. Maybe it would work. He looked back at Xemnas, he was now visible apart from Hikari. He growled out a long breath before he let Way to Dawn vanish. "I know and I understand that..." He couldn't believe he was going to do this. Realistically he didn't even know this girl. He glanced at the blonde behind the pair and back at the man. "So I'm offering you my Heart instead of hers. She's resisting you and trying to fight. I'll give it to you." The silvernette explained flawlessly. He could guess the coming reactions from everyone.

Riku pulled Hikari's Keyblade out of the wall. He held it in his hand. She was right but could he do it. He wasn't like Sora. He was selfish. He looked at Xemnas and then to Hikari. He really wished that the Nobody would have accepted his offer and figured out how to move from one heart to another because now his mind was being pulled back together and he had to do something for Hikari. As Xemnas flew towards Riku he heard the king anddefended himself. He flashed Hikari's blade in front of him, perfectly deflecting the attacks that Xemnas threw until he was past and in front of his sister, running.

"Sorry," he growled and then with a single thrust drove it through his twin. he fought himself to push it through her small chest and shatter the heart the two shared. he tried to fight his emotions too, hoping that something good would come from this. He thought he heard someone scream. Was it Hikari in pain or Naminé in shock?

"Ah! Hikari and Xemnas yelled as she felt the evil blade pierce her heart. As Riku let go of the Dark Keyblade, it sat in her chest for a moment, fading as its owner's heart began to fade from its effects. The Keyblade then removed itself from her chest and began to fade away, turning into a black sphere, leaving Hikari as she started to glow a bright silver.

Mickey saw the sphere and took his chance. Pointing his Keyblade at it, a beam of light shot through it, destroying what was left of the Keyblade.

Xemnas was screaming, but no sound could be heard from him. At last he was gone. As he disappeared, the silver aura around Hikari grew brighter as small swirls of light floated from her body. The expression on her face was of sad relief, as though she finally felt free for the first and last time.

Mickey looked at Hikari in shock. Could've there been a better way? "Hikari! Hikari wait!" he yelled, but she was already starting to fall.

Hikari started to fall forward, unable to sustain herself without her heart. Just as she was about to fall into Riku's arms, her entire body disappeared in a flash of silver light, small swirls of silver floating up and disappearing into the ceiling, leaving only Hikari's small locket behind, the locket opening up when it fell to the floor and started to play the soft melody.
