Keh. Fantasy world rules, I assure you.
Being nice doesn't make you a good leader. It helps with getting the people to follow you in the first place, but it doesn't make your decision-making abilities any better.
And, since niceness is simply a measure of recruiting/maintaining a good image so you're not deposed, it can be easily substituted with a bit of political manipulation. 4laugh
...damn, I love my job. xd
