Insert cosplay here On an even more unrelated note, has anyone here been or going to AnimeBoston? Went to 2009 one. got the Lucky Star Scroll as a Trophy. I try to buy scrolls that are obtainable at conventions or only online. either next convention this year or after hitting 21 (manhood) i may buy a Ecchi one (nothing too extreme)

I would go to AnimeBoston, but I'm never even close to the state during the time it runs. Maybe sometime in the future.

I used to think ZUN's art was lacking, and that the fanart was better. Oh how wrong I was.
I realized that as I played the games. That was ZUN's Word of God on how the characters looked, and to question it would be wrong. If anything, it's the fanart that's inaccurate. I wish people would at least TRY to mimic ZUN's style when doing Touhou art.

I've never slept better.

Touhou has had at least four different artists, whose drawing styles differ quite a lot, yet all of them are canon. Saying that any drawing style that differs from ZUN's is not accurate is pretty much dumb. Asuka Hayata I wish people would at least TRY to mimic ZUN's style when doing Touhou art. has uploaded quite a number of videos featuring kamS' artwork, which mimics ZUN's drawing style pretty well. Plus he uses Western music instead of Touhou doujin songs.

If it is fanart that makes no attempt whatsoever to conform to ZUN specifications, there's a 50% chance I'll just ignore it, especially if it goes against ZUN's tradition of drawing 300-year-old loli girls, the chances of being ignored skyrocket up to 90%. I'll look up that link when I'm on my laptop, my PS3 browser is manageable but annoying to work with. And it doesn't even have the now-essential spell-checker should I do the unthinkable action of accidentally misspelling even one word. gonk

Go even if you live on the west coast. 2011, I'll probably be the person dancing to Cirno's Perfect Math Class all day. ;D

Sadly since my sister wanted to try a convention...she realized it was not her taste. She watches anime but she is what i would call in my words "Aninoob". It means a noob at animes and only watches anime. I even warned her about people in V masks and she still didn't get it. Would like to go next year if i go about two day's ahead and bought tickets a month or two ago.
