Cloud stood up slowly, being careful not to lose her balance.
"I'm going out now, I'll check on you later."
She smiled and left the room, closing the door behind her and locking her drawers with her mind. She never did trust drunken people. .

Akria noticed her leave. Then he realized she left. He would have followed, but he was sitting, and didn't want to move, but he did move, over to the bed, He curled up in a ball and then felll asleep.

"That's about the life expectancy of where I come from too. Although I don't think we're the oldest here. One of the people at Morgan's school- anyways, here we are," opening the door to her room she let herself in and passed it to Quin. Several hankys were drying on the window sill and weighed down by books. There was a Bible on her dresser, although with a vanity mirror. A neat little pile of gauze was on a chair in a corner that she would use for binding. The bed was pushed up against the window and made carefully.

Quin looked around, a few books, he would have to see what ones, a bible, he couldn't fault her, it was her faith and he had his own for other reasons at home. "What's the gauze for?" Sitting down on the bed he looked at her inquisitively.

Her eyes went wide as she faced him, looked down, then back up again. How many pearls was it on the necklace again? "It's, well, that gauze? It's, heh, for, uhm...binding..." she motioned very vaguely to her chest.

Freezing in a gape, his jaw seemed to have become unhinged untill a sound of laughter issued forth. After a while it subsided, "Come here." Pulling her down to sit by him, "Chanti, I'll never understand you, a corset is painful enough, but to add more to the binding." Kissing her forehead, "I hope you'll eventually forsake the binding, you have no reason to do so."

Wanting to melt into the floor at the sound of his laughter, she shook her head hopelessly "If I were to, go without it, then none of my dresses would fit. The corsets wouldn't lie flat on my chest." Indeed, the dress she'd worn to the party didn't have binding and was very different when it came in terms of revealing.
