The door swings open just enough for someone to tiptoe inside and shut it again. She looked around and nodded at everyone. "Hi," she whispered. "I'm Emma."
Then she slunk over to a chair and sat down, giving off an obvious vibe of 'I'm-new-so-please-don't-hurt-me'.

::As we begin Round 2 of our sparring match, I attack again and again, but I quickly realize that Kaana-chan has taken my words to heart, and is playing a good mix-up game. She goes through a series of transformations, changing her strategy each time::
Haha, I see you're a quick learner Kaana-chan!
::Unexpectedly she pins me to the ground with her tiger neko form, but I quickly break free and counter. As she turns into a wolfgirl, her demeanor changes, and she begins to attack mercilessly. She has the look of a killer in her eyes, and I'm instantly reminded of Viper::
Hmph, no problem! If that's how you wanna play, I'll take you on at full strength!
::Knowing I'm stronger than Viper currently, I'm confident that I can defeat her wolfgirl form and win the battle. I mumble a quick spell and prepare to summon a spirit hand to grab her and hold her in place, but Kaana-chan stops suddenly and undoes her transformation, returning to human form::
What's the matter Kaana-chan? Are you tired?
::She has a look of shame on her face, and immediately begins to apologize for her uncontrollable killer instinct, and explains herself::
It's ok, I can relate to your situation. Don't forget that I have a killer side too, and I have to constantly fight for control. Don't feel bad, if it makes you feel any better, your killer wolfgirl side kept you from thinking logically about your moves and tactics. You threw all concept of strategy out the window when your other self took over, meaning you would've easily fallen for my trap in that form, and I would have beaten you with little effort had you not stopped. I wouldn't allow myself to be killed so easily. I'm still up for another match, but only when you're ready.

Emma gave a general nod, trying to decide who to respond to first. Deciding not to give a direct response to anyone, she looked around the room. "So, uh... what sorts of things go on here?"

Bells snapped her fingers to charge the energy partials to make them easier to bend, and sat in the chair that rose from the floor with a sigh and pulled out 'Vox of Thunder quod Glacies , Rector ut Vestri Elementum.' by Scorpius de Caspian, her great grandfather. She opened the book...
There was an explosion.

Emma yelped and covered her ears, falling out of her chair in the process. "What was THAT?" she asked, peeking up over the arm of the chair and looking around.

"No, no, its okay... no one else was hurt right?" Bells blinked a few times but couldn't see through the soot. She wiped them off. Her hair was on end and there was soot on everything but her lap was empty. "Oh no," she breathed, "Scorpius's book is gone."
