They say that colleges are placing less importance on the SAT and more on the ACT...
So they say...
I'll probably take the SAT just in case, tho. Watch me blow right through that one, too. xD

I hate it too actually hahaha! If you've never doen sentence diagrams before, be happy. I had two courses of that in the same semester from two different professors with two different theoretical approaches. Come exam time, I was not pleased.

Actually, I don't hate it all that much.
In fact, I got 33/36 in that section.
Science was the best, tho. 34/36.
('Cos it comes with grades on the individual parts of the test, as well as the whole.)
I didn't do so well on the math, tho. 26/36.

I would've gotten like 5/36 on math. I suck at math big time.

The ACT is actually not mandatory in the States. It is just helpful.
I can't remember my scores on it I only remember being well above the average for the SAT and ACT. That was how I got into a private university with a half scholarship.

Wyrn's right. the more you participate in those kinds of things, the better chance you have of getting noticed by someone. It could be possible though for your local area the schools make it mandatory.
