"We had to act so quickly, that not everyone could pull back..." Sue told Rhys, her voice wavering slightly due to her sorrow. "If anything happens to them... I..."
She shook her head... and couldn't think of anything else to say. The thought itself was something that crushed her very heart.

"That son of a... he had to pay for what he did to Sue," Amelia muttered quietly. When she saw his concern, though, she relaxed a little. "Sorry, I suppose I was being pretty stupid... I managed to hurt his mount and make it run off, though!" Amelia beamed a little. "That'll hinder him some."

Pent come downstairs from the library still collecting his thoughts in his mind when he noticed the group had returned...probably a long time ago and he smiled at the sheepishly. "Good evening everyone." Was all he could manage to say to them.

"Amelia... you..." Sue looked appalled at the little knight. "You... wounded him to avenge my honor? But... that's... it's so risky. Does this mean that you consider me... your friend?" She was clearly shocked. The green-haired nomad had been so silent around the FEF members, to see Amelia, Older Soren, and even General Roy sticking up for her... it brought her a new sense of pride in her allies.

"Valter, there's no going there..." Sue shook her head. "It was overrun by morphs. For now, we just have to wait for those still caught in the crossfire to return." She quickly noticed the silver-haired sage too. "Pent! Nino is here, she's hurt really bad! You have to help her with your staff, please!" {And for Rei to update the plot summary.}

"What he did...? Wait, yes..." Rhys paused, recalling that at some point, Tacitus had kidnapped Sue. Whether that was on Madrianna's orders or whether Tacitus acted on his own, he wasn't sure. Still...
"Amelia..." Rhys said quietly. "If you hadn't come back, I'm not sure I would have forgiven you for it. I know we're in the Host Club, but... but... ah, forget it. You came back, and you actually did some damage, so that's what counts. Heh, looks like that training I heard about going on here has really been paying off."

Amelia looked at Sue, almost dumbfounded. "Of course I do. He practically made you lose your entire self, he couldn't just get away from that scotch-free!" Amelia pumped a fist in the air, as if to cheer, then winced as the movement jostled her wounded shoulder. "Ow. But yes, you're my friend."
Her eyes went back to Rhys. "I guess I shouldn't have expected you to..." she mumbled. She turned her eyes down, feeling bad now. She had made people worried about her, after all, and she hated to do that.

Her gaze then shifted to Pent, the white-haired sage. She heard about his powers... of both anima and staves. He could save Nino from her pain, couldn't he?

Amelia looked over at Pent. "Sue is right... could you heal Nino for us, please...?"
Valter's statement made her turn her head again. "All right. We'll be glad for the company, and we don't need to get split into pieces right now."

Still, if I could just give one piece of advice? My former employer, a man named Greil, once told me that rules exist for a reason on the battlefield. People can't just do as they please without a by-your-leave. You still did great, and I'm happy you did. Just... remember this the next time you go to fight, okay?"
