Once she had eaten, Renata let out a small sigh, her stomach satisfied with the three slices of pizza. Not eating in so long definitely made one hungry... now she was stuffed. Running her fingers through locks of black hair, Ren debated what to do next. She didn't have much choice right now. She would have to leave. Most her friends were gone, or couldn't remember her, and those who did? Zayne, Amaranth maybe, and Lily, well. Lily had to look after Kir, he needed it she was certain. Zayne, well Amaranth had just returned and he and Amaranth needed to look out for each other now. And it was hard to stay around, when the only two people who should know her, Kir, had forgotten her, and her long lost sister, refused to accept she was her sister and had told Zayne she didn't want another sister- it was she and Zayne.
So she wasn't sure what... what was left for her here. Plus, she wasn't sure what was going on around her, with her missing friends, or with the world. She was a lost soul, and it wasn't the first time. And she was just going to take up space, food, and air, and cause trouble, and she didn't want to burden anyone with her presence anymore. So she should... should leave.
Standing up, her eyes gray blue, Ren shuffled, her small barefoot feet light against the ground. Pushing the door to the inn open, Renata slipped out into the outside word for the first time in a long time, and fell into the shadows, disappearing into the mountains, not sure quite yet, where she was going.... Besides, she was almost certain, she could leave unnoticed...

Zayne held Amaranth close, trying his best to comfort her, "You tried... you did all you could, and Kir would never, never ask for anything more from you," he replied softly, his voice gentle and loving.

Kir forgot it was even there. He reached his hand up and touched the jewel in his throat. It had sank in a bit since it was first put in. His flesh had almost completely engulfed it. He felt a pang of alarm when he thought about that. Who knew what this thing would do?
"His wing was ripped off," Amaranth said, "And his blood crystallis has been taken away from them...I'm a terrible sister."

Zayne shook his head, 'Your a wonderful sister... you did everything in your power... there's just... some things you can't do alone," he replied soothingly, rubbing her back gently. Amaranth couldn't blame herself for everything that had happened; she had tried to save her brother at her own expense, and although she hadn't done what she had set out to do, they were both still alive... and that, had to count for something.

Kir became a little frightened at the idea. It would be like that time when Rachel did the exact same thing...
"Zayne...He's still in danger. His blood crystallis is still in the Academy..." Amaranth said.

Zayne nodded in understanding. "Once your well... I'll go with you," he said taking her hands in his, his eyes serious and grave. He knew what family meant, and if Vivian was in danger, he would do everything to help. And he wasn't going to tell Amarnath she couldn't go if she wanted to- it was her brother for God's sake. But she wasn't going without him. No, never again.

Amaranth looked saddened by this. She didn't want him to go to that horrible place. She turned and looked at Kir's wing on the bed. Her hands gripped Zayne tightly. It was creepy that Kir was gone but his wing was still here...
Kir didn't like the sound of that. It made his panic rise. He braced himself for the scratching treatment of his life.

"No, I'm not going to rip it out of your throat now," Lily said, putting her hands up to show she wasn't going to hurt him. "I was thinking we could talk to Bradley. He did the operation on your crystallis and put your mind back. He might know something."

"Amaranth," Zayne said quietly. "I am safer then you going to such a place. I am no angel, I do not have a crysalis... I am a nobody enough to slip in," he assured quietly, knowing even if Viv understood what he said, she had no idea what was going on outside the forest.

"They can change that Zayne!" Amaranth exclaimed, "Look at what they did to Kir!" She pointed at the wing on the bed, "You're not safe! They'll make you wish you were nobody!" She looked up at Zayne. She didn't want to lose him, "Please...Don't do what I did..." She begged.
Family? Again? Kir tilted his head a little. This seems to be the recurring theme. First he had a daughter and now he has someone else?
