Felicia did a backflip into the air after suiting up and clumsily floated next to her sister. "Don't wait up Benji!" she said as she spun and pulled her sissy with her through a broken elevator door (their fault) and down to where the limo sat parked. Upon her hasty exit, she bumped a rather expensive show piece which wobble back and forth precariously on its stand. Benjamin noticed it and hurried over catching it before it struck the ground. "Those girls...if it wasn't for their father..." He sighed and closed the portrait door which they left open. Again.

Everyone at the table looked between themselves for a moment confused and looked back as Tara said, "I'm afraid the name Helix doesn't mean anything to us. The Hunters, or main group nor any reserves have ever had a run in with a man going by the alias Helix to my knowledge."

Tara seemed to completely ignore the jab from Vic insinuating sexual promiscuity on her part. The way she skipped past it it was like he had never said anything. She was much more in control of her emotions than her daughter was at this point.

"As for trust, we learned long ago just as I'm sure most of you have to trust the right people and how to tell which people were those right people. To be honest I don't know enough to say I should trust you. All I know is our goals are the same, deal with the situation at hand. If we both want the same thing whether we can trust each other matters very little for the time being and the task at hand. However, that trust would be a nice thing for both of us to have of each other for a later date."

She glanced at Carol and said, "While I thank you for your accepting attitude, they are right, we need to earn their trust. It cannot just be given to us."

"On that same not though I could ask you the very same question about trust Reaver. Of course I do trust that you care about this city even if I cannot trust you on a personal level I can on a professional level. Perhaps that is what you should do for us. I suggest you trust us to do what we do every day and dedicate our lives to doing if nothing else."

She thought for a moment and then said to Sovereign, "I'm not sure if it means anything to you Sovereign, but as a token of good faith I might be able to show you a way to make contact with Phantom. He does trust us, enough to help him clean up some of the messes left behind by the people that constructed him."

Tara then looked at Ricky and said, "I believe you may have already seen what Abor and Ascalon can do. As for me....for starters I know how to use my thumb to kill you in five different ways above the neckline and where to cut you to make you bleed out in roughly 30 second with a single cut. I could tell you how the event horizon of a black whole works."

She gave a flat smile and said, "Of course you probably mean super human powers. Well, I go be Necropotence when I'd rather not share my real name. I think you can figure out what I do."

"Plus," Liz said quickly, "You're kinda acting like a b***h. Let's just go deal with this thing and you won't have to deal with us and visa-verse ...hopefully."

Tara gave Liz a stern eye which cause the younger female to sit back in her chair and fold her arms.

"So, anything else you want from us to start?" Tara asked.

Azrael walked toward the machine and stepped on the red beam following the other two. He turned to Morrigan before continuing on. "Morrigan, fetch Devon and follow us. The time has come."

"Mother of all that is holy," Rei said as she leaned forward and peered out the top of the windshield at the beam of energy. "That just happened."

"It seems that what ever is causing this is making its move now," Alex said as he turned his head to Daisy. "You may want to find you friend and find a safe place, this may escalate quickly."

"I suppose that is enough for now," Tara said as she matched his hand, squeezing firmly; perhaps to she she was not a weakling either. "We rarely if ever back out of a situation like this. The situation may be dire, but the result of our retreating is most probably much, much worse. And I can guarntee that if any member of the Hunters were to do what you suggest and attempt to take the power for themselves they would have to answer to the rest of us. We have had experience with a double agent once, and while she managed to escape she did so heavily wounded and has had to hide in almost complete seclusion ever since to elude us. We do not take such actions lightly."

She nodded to Reaver as she let go of his hand and gave her attention to Sovereign. "Phantom, or as you may have originally known him R.I.O., is a hard man to get a hold of, and a shrewd, careful and calculating man. You will mostly likely not get an immediate response through the channel i provide you but I assure you it is one of the very few possible ways to find him or make contact. When you do I can only assume it will be on his terms in an environment he controls, even for someone who goes as far back as you. He will not compromise himself so easily. He knows who is watching and what it would mean if he were found by them."

Tara paused for a moment before she said. "Just in case you have forgotten, I think it would be good to have a general idea what we are all capable of," Tara said as she gave a nod to Zack.

Zack nodded back as he said, "I can control earth and plants and many materials spawned from both. I do also have a very intricate understanding of geology and earth science in general."

Liz responded after, saying, "I can emit a field that can shred, sever or disintegrate most materials as well as photographic muscle memory. I'm also the best person with a stick shift you've haven't met yet and I can kick your a** in more than one style of hand to hand."

"And I of course can control the movements and shapes of dead matter than once lived. I am schooled in many advanced forms of martial arts and possess roughly double the human reaction speed and strength. I possess Doctorate level knowledge in every realm of math, science and medicine and and IQ of roughly 263." Tara said. "Might we have a similar account of all of you aside from Sovereign? We know well his array of abilities."
