prince romanov i'll eventualy have my hair all in braids. tons of'em. nothing but little braids. Yeah. What do you do when your hair GROWS. Undo it all and start over? It usually takes me about half an hour to get my hair in 4-6 braids to crimp it. Teeny braids? That'd take me a WEEK.

*twitch* I could NEVER do that to my hair. @_@ The most extreme I'll ever do is clip in some colored extensions from Hot Topic. XD

O_o; it can't be that bad, if i make'em neat. and plus, they'd be easy to keep clean, i live in florida! lemons and oranges cost like nothing, i can clean my hair with the juices that way. ^_^ Cables to Heaven i've heard them called before. they were a symbol of the rastafarian warrior priests you know.
EDIT: seems like practically every culture hasreligious and/or warrior traditions based off of braids, dreds, topknots or shaved heads....

i'm confident that if i braid my hair it will be a long time before they start to grow again anyway.
