Elnara slid her bag off her shoulder and passed it off to Lore, then gave him a warm smile.
"You might be better off to put on your spidersilk cloak and have the hood up," she suggested. "It will help to keep you cooler, it reflects the heat away from you."
And with that warning, she took a few steps back and changed into a Roc, then pressed herself close to the ground so that Lore could climb up.

Lin thought about it, it didn't make much sense to her though, "Is this one of those groiwng up things?"
She asked him, since growing up and moving out was the only reason she could see for anyone wanting to leave for long periods of time from their family.

While she transformed, even though it was very quickly, he took out his cloak and wrapped it around himself. Pulling his hood up, after all there was no point in getting burnt on the way there, that wouldn't be any good at all.
Once he had made sure the hood was secure, he made his way over to her and gently as he could (for it still made him nervous afraid that he would hurt her).

Elnara cast a glance over her shoulder, her large bird's eyes blinking slowly at Lore, making sure he was safely settled on her back. Once she was confident that he was secure, she spread her wings and pushed off from the ground.

"I don't think it's so much a growing up thing as just ... somthing that's difficult to understand in general," Daeron corrected Lin gently. "I could try to explain it to you, but I just don't know how to really do so without confusing you more ..."
He paused. "Would you like me to try anyways?"

The first lift off he could feel it as he watched the ground move out of his line of sight. He held on as tightly as he dared to, though there was little fear of falling off.

"Yes please," Lin replied back, "Because maybe I will, or I'll try very hard to understand."
Then maybe she could help, but it was no fun if you had to go away. Unless it was a job, but that made it a bit better than just having to go away for no reason.

Daeron nodded thoughtfully and thought carefully about how best to explain.
"Well," he murmured, rubbing at the back of his neck, "I love my father, and he loves me, but there are certain things that we don't agree upon, which causes us to fight. When I'm not here, we can't fight, and so when we see each other again then we are glad to see each other ... but if we were to spend all of our time together, then we would do nothing but fight and argue, and we would grow to hate each other."
He paused and looked down at Lin anxiously.
"Does that make sense?"

Lin thought about it for a moment, "So you mean.. it's like being too use to someone?"
She couldn't imagine being around people for so long that she would fight with them. Like she would like to be on her own, but that only took being in her room and hiding under her bed for a few hours.

"Yes, like that," Daeron agreed. "To the extreme, I suppose, but that's the general idea."
He was interrupted by the arrival of his mother, who had all seven of Elnara's children in tow.
"Good morning!" Luthien called brightly to Daeron and Lin, motioning for her nieces and nephews to sit.

Celebor had been carrying Idhril, and he set her on the table next to the place where he had decided to sit. Silvrendir flew up beside her, followed by Storm and Starr, and Celebor made sure they all had place settings (which were already on the table) before sitting down between them and Lin.
Serenity and Skye took a seat on the other side of the table and started eating as soon as they were served.

Lin waved her arms excitedly, "Morning everyone! How is everyone today?"
She grinned up at Luthien before making her way over to her smaller nieces and nephews whom she was closer in size to.

"Good," Storm grinned sleepily at Lin, rubbing one of his eyes. "Cept I didn't get to sleep as long as I wanted because Idhril kept rolling on me."
"And you kept smacking her," Starr put in defensively, "so you're no better!"
"It's ok," Idhril smiled at both of them. "It didn't hurt. I was sleeping, so I didn't feel a thing!" She turned to Lin. "Were you already playing without us?" she asked her. "Or did you wait for us to play, too?"

"I haven't started playing yet," Lin replied, "I was looking for Haradhel, but I'm told she's up on the mountain, so I need to wait for her to come down."
Lin nodded, and now that she thought about it.. she hadn't eaten yet. How silly of her.

"Mountain?" Celebor asked eagerly. "I want to see the mountain too! What's up there, Lin? Have you been up there?"
His green eyes sparkled excitedly as he started scooping his breakfast into his mouth.
