Pomp and Circumstance. No comment.
Saints go marching in. That's my old school's fight song. If I hear that song being blasted out of a trombone into my ear ONE MORE TIME!!! That trombone is going somewhere unplesant. No offense intended towards any trombonists. I play trombone occasionally myself.
Disney crap. It's so annoying!
Louie Louie. It hurts...

Pomp and Circumstance, for sure. *gags*
Metroplex is something I had to play for All-Region this year. So many ******** runs, it practically made me cry.
And finally, pick any John Phillip Sousa piece. Fun to listen to, but a b***h to play...

Sleigh Ride should be burned, then have it's ashes stepped on, then have the ashes burned.

stressed Pomp and circumstance, hands down.
I swear to god, I'm gonna go back in time and kill the creator of that song before he ever gets the chance to write it or procreate. So what if it screws with the timeline; the world will definately be a better place without him or it.

There are quite a few songs that should be burned. Well, in my opinion, at least. You can agree with me, or say you hate me and want to beat me up. I don't really care. Nothing in the world is going to make me change my mind about this.
1. Stars and Stripes Forever - Last year, almost EVERY song we played featured each section of the band. Every single time [EVERY **** ******* TIME] the flutes had stars and stripes forever. EVERY TIME! We knew it by heart and we hated it.
2. Chirstmas Music - This is only when you're playing it when it's NOT Christmastime. It's ANNOYING when your band director's all like, "Oh, let's sightread Frosty the Snowman!" in the middle of March!!! *twitch**twitch*
3. The Sailing Song - We had to sightread this piece and it was so ******* hard on flute 'cause there were a bunch of sixteenth notes and such in cut time! Sightread! And we're not even going to play it at a concert!!! He didn't even slow down the tempo. Just because there are some upperclassmen in a mostly freshmen band DOES NOT give him the right to do that!!! i want to PUNCH HIM!!!
And of course, burn all that music. : D

"Rhapsody in Blue" (For anyone not in a professional band, it's murder.) "Greensleeves" (MY EARSSS!) "Pomp and Circumstance" (BORING) "A Christmas Festival" "A Canadian Brass Christmas" (Okay on their own, but too many songs are repeated in medleys.) Possibly most of "Die Meistersinger" except for flute soli. Frank Ticheli's "Amazing Grace" (HATE HATE HATE)

DJ Nintendo Actually, it's not spelled maleguena. The correct spelling is Malaguea. We played it as our opener my freshman year. It was funny listening to every announcer we had stumble over that name, even at districts. Isn't it ironic the word "mala" is in there? Considering it's the feminine connotation of the word "bad." Actually, no, I love that piece, depending on the version being played. Music needing to be burned: - This year's Marching show (In the Stone by EWF, Land of Make Believe by Chuck Mangione, and Never My Love by The Association) - Pomp and Circumstance - An American Elegy (come to think of it, any Ticheli piece except Vesuvius and Sun Dance) - Prelude, Siciliano, and Rondo (Rondo is fun, but considering every band I've played this piece with has had a major disaster happen with it, I think it should be laid to rest.) - Wave (song we play as homecoming accompaniment EVERY YEAR.) I know this isn't music, but should be burned. Treasury of Scales. BURN. No! I loved Elegy and Blue Shades. They're just hard to tune.

Glorioso. That music should be burned, eaten by a yak, pooped out, burned again, and then fed to a pack of wild Melaphone players
