Kakuremino no Jutsu (Cloak of Invisibility Technique)
This jutsu is where one uses a cloak or a piece of cloth to make oneself blend in with the background, interpreting oneself invisible. I had the students practice with eachother by using their spot checks. All the students would hide while one student would count to 10 while the others hid. Once they were hid, the student counting would use a Spot check to find them.
Formula: 1d20 + Hide(Dex)
DC: ^^^Whatever that comes out too^^^
Formula: 1d20 + Spot(Wis)
Train: Successfully hide 3/3
Experience: +3 for each successful hide
Points: +1 Hide and +1 Spot
Xenon finished his explanation and faced Kimiko with a matter of fact persona "So, understand?"
Kimiko blinked her brows furrowed "Yes...I think so...but won't I need a sheet or cloth or something?"
Xen tussled his own hair "Oh, yes of course."
Kimiko jumped as Xenon's coat landed over her face. She pulled the coat off and held it bewildered "Wha-"
"You can use that." Xenon said as though it was nothing "The sooner you get this down the sooner we can move on to the more complicated Jutsu." he covered his eyes waiting for her to hide. 'And the sooner I can get back to my own training...'
Kimiko blinked looking at the coat with some mix of expression before looking back up and giving her mentor by convenience a nod. "Very well..." she turned around and headed off into the woods as Xenon closed his eyes.
Truth be told Kimiko wasn't at all kosher with this... Maboroshi had to have something up his sleeve...this could all be some sort of deception...but then...what reason could he have? The more she thought about it the more she drew a blank...still... that didn't mean Xenon didn't have a plan...it just meant she couldn't figure it out if he did. She covered herself with the coat, her chakra washing into the cloth. She'd slid herself against a tree, and now she waited...
Xenon opened his eyes, their golden sheen flickering behind his lenses. 'Ready or not...'

Stealth wasn't Kimiko's strong point, in fact stealth was just something Kimiko was terrible at, and would quite possibly always be terrible at, and such as it was, for the point of this exercise, Xenon had decided to do this with a handi-cap. That is to say, he'd be seeking her with one eye closed.
Not too great an advantage considering his already above average (for an academy student anyway) eyes, but then Kimiko had a way of surprising him, and in this it seemed it was no exception. Kimiko had eluded him. He opened his other eye and cast his head about, now looking in earnest. He found her quickly enough but let it slide, it was a passable job. "Alright, come out."
Kimiko pulled away the coat, the cloth regaining it's usual appearance "Wow! I did it!" she made an overly dramatic gesture and gave the victory sign. "Ha! Bet you didn't think I could do huh Maboroshi!"
Xenon shook his head, his smile attempting creep across his face "Truly your amazing Momoe-san, now, go hide again."
Kimiko put his coat over her shoulder and smiled confidently "Fine, but there's no way you'll find me this time either!" She once more trotted off, checking occasionally behind her to see that Maboroshi wasn't cheating.

Xenon walked about for around three minutes before finally his single eye was able to detect a flaw in the surface of trunk. He narrowed his single open eye. He was going easy on her, this was true, but it was also true he'd no intention of going to easy on her. He opened both eyes and approached the trunk, bopping her once in the head. "Pathetic."
Kimiko removed the cloak in a rage. "What! Why you...you..." she cast about her limited negative vocabulary "Stupid face!"
A sweat drop formed over Xen's head. 'Stupid face...really? I mean really?' He let it pass. "You'll never be able to survive on a mission with poor technique like that. This jutsu is meant to serve as a aide for stealth, and a crutch for those who lack an affinity with it, since you fall into the later, it's all the more vital you master this with impunity." He turned around, his calm still in place. "Now go on. Try again."
Kimiko looked like she wanted jump on him and beat him senseless, but that wasn't her style. She turned with a huff and stormed off to find a better place to hide. 'Stupid Maboroshi...how is he so good at this stuff...' Sure she was good with taijutsu, but if earlier today was any evidence...she couldn't even hit him with it! It was just so frustrating. She set that aside, for now, presently she needed to find a place to hide so she could show him she wasn't completely incompetent...

Xenon once more combed the surrounding forest of the training grounds, his only eye in action scanning about lazily. He was, of course, not trying to find, more's to the point he was trying to act as a normal academy student would, He himself was the Level of a Genin already in almost all aspects, with the time ahead till the exam, he wasn't worried, and that being said, Kimiko was a long ways away. It's true she was a fighter, but being a fighter and being ready for life as Genin were entirely separate. Judging her harshly would only serve to slow her progress, and judging to leniently would be fruitless. The key was balance it out. That having been said, he opened his other eye. She'd hidden herself rather well this time.
Kimiko was breathing so quietly she couldn't even hear it herself. She was downright determined to not to be found this time...she wasn't-
"Alright, come on out."
She sprung out whipping the coat about. "Yesss!" She was jumping back and forth on to either foot. "Take that Maboroshi!"
Xenon pushed up his glasses "I feel so very inadequate Momoe-san." he put a hand over his eyes again "Now...one more successful test I think, and you'll probably be fine."
Kimiko cross her arms proudly "Hmph, I have you know I've already mastered it, but fine, I'll show you as many times as you like!" She jumped off her back foot and threw the coat around her, bounding in between the tree's until she was out of sight.
Xenon counted in his mind, hopefully she had it down, and they could move on to the next jutsu...

Xenon's eye twitched. "Momoe-san..." He snatched the coat away from her causing her to look slightly embarrassed "You forgot to use the jutsu..."
Kimiko blinked and blushed "Oh...heh...eh heh." She snatched his coat back from him "Look so I was excited and forgot okay!" she sped off leaving a small cloud of dust behind.
The silver haired youth rubbed his temples exasperated 'You've...got to be kidding me...' he slowly smiled "Heh...heh heh...ahahahahahaa.." he put a hand over his face "You've got to be kidding me." No matter what it seemed, that girl found a way to make him smile.
Kimiko could hear him laughing behind her and gritted her teeth "Oooooh, that jerk!" she clenched her fists as she ran 'Just when I thought that he was starting to take me seriously as his nemesis..." she frowned 'Maybe that's why he's he helping me...' the vision of him laughing his head off at her flashed in her mind 'Oh!! That STUPID JERK!! I'll show him! I'll master every one of those academy jutsu!!'

Jutsu Mastered
Kimiko sat there huddled beneath the coat, and this time she'd remembered the jutsu. She sat there once more quieting her breath, afraid irrationally that her heart beat might give her away. After a little while of waiting there she became more aware of her surroundings. The truth was, she was in Maboroshi's coat. The one her wore almost all the time. She had imagined it to smell of sweat or maybe some of the unpleasant odors of slimy laboratories and human blood... but instead...
Instead it smelled strange... not bad just...strange. She actually found she could get used to the smell...was he wearing some kind of cologne? She breathed in the air, chancing a loud inhale to analyze the smell. Was...was this what Maboroshi smelled like? She blinked slightly uncertain of how to take this.
"Alright, you can come out." Kimiko this time, spared her excitement and enthusiasm as she rose, tossing the coat back to him swiftly. Xenon caught it in time and raised an eyebrow at her slightly passive state. He was certain she'd say something like "IN YOUR FACE MABOROSHI!!!" But all she said was.
"Hm, I guess I mastered it then." she crossed her arms looking away.
Xenon was actually confused at his old nemesis's attitude. She was angry with him...but differently from the usual... he stifled a smile 'What have I done now I wonder?' "I suppose so," Xenon answered aloud. He turned and gestured for her to follow him. "Come on, we've time for one more before this evening."
Kimiko looked at him stern, her harsh exterior turned on "Maboroshi..."
He looked back at her "Hm?"
"Why are you helping me...what do you get out of it?"
Xenon at first didn't seem like he would answer, his face rather dull and careless. "Hm...well I thought that obvious." he smirked and turned back in the direction he'd been walking. "I figure if my nemesis is weak, it makes me look weak...I need you to become stronger, else wise I look bad."
Kimiko frowned, her expression almost disbelieving. "Is that really the reason?"
Xenon's chuckle sounded jolly "Oh you've caught me Momoe-san... I'm actually captivated by your unparalleled beauty and serve as you tutor merely so I can bask in your presence but a moment longer."
"LIES!" she shouted pointing animatedly at his back.

Bunshin no Jutsu
For the first part of the Bunshin training, the students would practice their handseals;Tiger boar ox and dog while building up their chakra.
DC: 10
Formula: 1d20 + Chakra Control
Train: ?/5
Experience: +1 when handseals have been completed.
Points: +1 Chakra Control
No cp cost and no hp deduction.
Part II
The second part of the training would be to create the actual clones by using the hand seals. To successfully create a clone, the student would have to have a total of 5. At every incriment of 5, the student would make a clone.
5 = 1 clone (-1cp)
10 = 2 clones (-2cp)
15 = 3 clones (-3cp)
20 = 4 clones (-4cp)
If a student only has 3 CP then he cannot create 4 clones, even if his total is 20. Resting for one post will gain back +2Cp. The must successfully complete the jutsu 4 times, disregarding how many clones they create.

Xenon sat cross legged, Kimiko across from him listening to him, and following the hand seals he made. "The jutsu itself as actually among the more complicated of the academy jutsu." he got to his feet slowly "But I think you'll get the hang of it." he looked at her seriously "And remember, don't consider it mastered until you can totally control the jutsu." His hands suddenly darted together and he ran through the necessary hand signs, two identical clones appearing on either side of him.
Bunshin no Jutsu:
This is a basic technique taught to ninja at an academy. In certain years, Ninja are required to know this jutsu in order to advance to the Genin level. Bunshin no Jutsu creates one or more clones of the user, which can be used as a means to create a diversion, distraction, or cause confusion. Unlike Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Art of the Shadow Doppelganger), these illusory clones will simply disappear if come into contact, thus, they are without substance, and cannot do anything to damage the opponent.
Cp cost: 1 pt. per bunshin.

The two clones stared at Kimiko neutrally, and she right back in a reluctantly impressed fashion. In a sudden rush the three mixed up surrounding her and she rose to her feet startled. "The key thing to recall about this jutsu," Explained one of the three Xens, "Is that it's mostly about control," another of them now went on "control of the clones, and the chakra you use to make them." The last Xenons put his hands in his pockets and finished "So just remember what I told you." The three turned and headed toward another part of the grounds, one thick with woods. "See you later."
Kimiko looked at him confused "Huh? But where are you going?"
All three Xenon's looked back and one explained "Come now, I'm in training myself don't forget, you shouldn't be so selfish Momoe-san."
He was expecting a heated response but she just stuck up her nose and looked away from him, facing the other direction as she recapped what he'd told her, going over it in her head. "Good luck Momoe-san." he continued on his way...he had a long night before him...he'd be lucky if he got any sleep...

Falling Leaves
Stirke out and hit the falling leaves before they hit the ground.

Xenon's hands moved swiftly, the leaves from the he'd just lept from the target of his agility. Xenon was a competent Jutsu user, at any rate his control over his chakra was nothing to laugh at for most Genin, but he knew he needed more than that, an edge. He strength would certainly have to be developed in the future...but what he felt he could excel at was his speed, his adaptability, his mobility... whatever one wanted to call it... he would develop it, and hone it into a weapon he could use against his opponents... this was the first step.
The giant oak he now stood under, was filled with countless leaves... and they all served as the perfect target practice. He'd scale the tree effortlessly with chakra, then gather ten leaves from the bountiful legions. Leaves in hand he'd toss them from the branch, then leap after them, striking every one before they hit the earth. His first try had been a success, but he was far from confident. as it was his skills were on the edge of a knife, it could still tilt either way... he needed to keep testing himself until he grew proficient.

Kimiko cleared her mind, and made each hand sign in turn, calmly and slowly, her chakra flowing through the motions with her, completely in sync. She was glad now that she'd done that chakra training yesterday, as the experience was of great help here. So far so good. She was fairly certain she could pick up the pace now, raising the hand signs speed to practical use. she needed to feel comfortable with justu before moving on to actual practice, even she knew that much, it wasn't like she'd completely zoned out in class. Her fingers wiggled as she prepared to try again.

Xenon hit the ground unsatisfied. He'd missed three of the leaves that time. but he didn't let it get to him. He hadn't expected nor hoped for immediate success. He was all settled in for a long haul, and whatever obstacles he faced he'd already made up his mind. With a hop he stepped onto the tree and made his way up the trunk, his chakra carrying him flawlessly. Now he thought about it, he would like to try walking on water soon... it sounded more difficult in principal, but he was actually fairly certain he could do it with some work. He put that aside for now. Task at hand after all, he gather up a fist full of leaves...

Kimiko's hand slipped and after that her chakra lost focus and went astray as well. He brought her hands apart and made a face. A little slip up made a big difference when dealing with jutsu...it was even more so than in battle... She went over the seals again in her head, then made each one out of practice, not summoning her chakra. She then nodded to herself as though ready to try again. She blew a strand of her hair from her face called her chakra back into the movements. As the blue energy rushed through her coils, gathering within her, she held her hands ready, this hoping to get it right.

Even less that time...he'd missed six. He'd jumped too late. He took this into concern. It wasn't just about pure speed, it was about timing, it was about tracking the target through it's motion. All these were factors in the equation. But still, he didn't want to rely too much on these. He didn't just want to be skilled...he wanted to be inhumanly fast...and that came from repetition, and intense training. He set foot on his destined branch and gathered up the necessary ten leaves. Let's try that again...

Kimiko gave a small smile as she didn't indeed pull it off again, her chakra and hand signs well within acceptable. She was getting used it to it now, the hand signs and the way it felt to hold the chakra where she needed it. She knew nope she could indeed pull this off, she'd just have to keep at it and learn from her mistakes, while continuing to speed up. He brushed her hair back again and took her hands to a steady position. She took a deep breath and exhaled it, letting her chakra prepare as well. She then repeated the motions, trying yet again.

Xenon landed on the ground his hands still tense from their rapid movement. He'd done yet another successful go. And stopped to briefly count each leaf as they hit the ground. He then let the chakra flow into his feet as he marched back up the oak. He was definitely going to have to work at this. Despite his successes so far, he knew he wasn't nearly as fast as he would have liked...before he would even consider himself ready for now, was when he'd doubled his speed, maybe more so...
He held the leaves tight in his hands, then let his fingers release them...finally he jumped off after them...

Kimiko made the last sign knowing she'd done well. Yes, she was definitely comfortable with the justu now, but better safe then sorry, and indeed while she was satisfied with being able to preform it, she'd still try and increase her speed in the delivery of it. Now she thought about it, Maboroshi had done it incredibly fast, like he'd practiced it numerous times as well. This as much as anything encouraged her to keep doing so.
She also tried, in her efforts, to measure how much chakra she was building up. She recalled him saying something about it, so she figured it was worthy of note. While she despised Maboroshi's attitude, it was safe to say she respected his talent at Chakra manipulation.

Xenon this time landed with a little spring and caught himself almost at once. Again he'd gotten all of them. He straightened his coat and brushed one of the leaves of his shoulder before headed back to the base of the oak. Xen normally was one for theory, correcting his errors and making a pattern to improve performance... but he was starting to think he should just clear his mind and let his body do the work. Despite all the improvements he could have made, he intended to rely on raw speed in this case, completely focus on utilizing was he was trying to develop. He tossed the leaves unto the air, and went after them yet again.

Kimiko's chakra was the problem this time. She'd managed to get the signs right but her chakra wasn't adjusted for the new pace she'd attempted. She right herself feeling out the right amount. then testily controlling it through the motions again, faster and faster till her emerald eyes seemed to give an affirm and she was ready to try again. Despite the fact she'd already learned a justu, the truth of it hadn't really set yet. She was oddly enough underwhelmed by the whole thing. Maybe it was because Xenon made it look so simple, but even if she managed to master this jutsu, she wasn't sure she'd be as satisfied as she would had she not seen Xenon make the jutsu seem effortless. she prepared her hands once more

Xenon frowned in the air and kept it in place when he landed. He'd missed 7 of them that time. The wind had caught them and...but that was no excuse. He had to be able to adjust to any situation, this was just another test of his ability. He scaled the tree yet again, this time quickly gathering the leaves and waiting watching the wind blow the grass below, casting some of the fallen leaves of before out across the fields. He looked at the one's in his hand let them go, leaping into the breeze his fingers feeling nimble...

Again her chakra failed her...or was it the other way around. He went through the chakra movements again, trying to keep up with the speed she was attempting. She wasn't entirely sure why she was being so picky...and justu mastered was a jutsu mastered...she probably wouldn't be relying on tricks like bushin too much, her strength would carry her through to her destiny...but for some reason she was driving herself to be perfect at it...to do it without flaw...just like...

Xenon barely, just barely, managed to get all ten this time, each leaf struck with the tips of his fingers before it could brush the lush grass at the base of the tree. The wind was now subsiding and he was letting out a calm sigh. He removed his coat and glasses, letting the cool air of the twilight caress him as he once more flew up the tree, feeling lighter without his coat. He gathered the leaves, having to move further down the branch he'd been picking them from, and turned, ready to relinquish them. He settled his mind as he'd been doing and let go.

Kimiko's chakra was able to keep up this time, rather, she conducted her chakra properly for the speed of her hand signs. Still, she felt she needed just one more test, one more raise of the bar. It was after all her nature to push the limits of herself, even though tricky jutsu weren't. She gathered again her chakra, trying to predict how this further speed increase would affect the flow required, and then let her fingers go back to work, the hand seals now locked in memory.
Kimiko's mother had been watching her for some time. Those hand signs...the Bushin. Not the jutsu she'd have picked for her first out of the academy selection, but then Kimiko always was unique. Norms rarely applied to her. Her mother was content to watch from the shadows and see how she did.
