Suddenly, the echoing footsteps outside his door became the music he had been searching for, and he followed them outside, letting them led him to Jacques.

"Jacques! I wondered when I would see you! Sorry to keep you waiting, boy," the Headmaster greeted him with a warm smile. He extended a snow-gloved hand out to him, which he left to let Jacques decide whether he would leave it as a simple handshake or pull him into a hug.

Jacques firmly shook the hand, grinning. He would've hugged the Headmaster had he known him better. Had Nic been there, he would've hugged Nicolas, but oh well. "I wasn't waiting too long, your school is interesting. Some of teachers in particular..."

The Headmaster shook his hand firmly but not too hard to risk any sort of pain.

"Yes, they are a lively bunch," he said with a sort of pride, as if he loved them all for that very reason. "You are here for the Prior incident, yes?" he asked, his voice taking on a sudden seriousness.

"Officially yes, but I am good friends with your dean, Nicolas. We met on his travels. Emma is, well, was, I don't know, my fiance," Jacques tried to explain to the Headmaster.
"But yes I do to examine the Prior incident," He finished.

The Headmaster smiled at the mention of Nicholas and was about to say something on that matter, but his grin wilted as he was informed of the relationship between Jacques and Emma. He knew how Emma and Ben acted around each other, and the other man did not seem to happy to mention her, either. His experienced mind could only guess at the situation.

However, like Jacques said, there was more to discuss than the frivolities of love. He had much to say of Jake "Defi" Prior, but he did not know exactly how much of it to disclose. There was information that was private that he would only make public if necessary.

"What do you need to know?" he asked the official frankly, getting right to the point. He would answer any question and escort him anywhere.

Jacques thought over the records he was handed. "Was there any evidence of illegal substances?" He asked first. That was the biggest thing to cover first. This situation had a large potential to grow ugly with his department. He couldn't allow anything to happen to the school for Nicolas', and...Emma's sake. They needed this school. He now realized why his boss had warned him. Damn.

"Actually, before we begin, could you step into my office, please?" the Headmaster asked, leading him past the door. He wanted no other to accidentally overhear their conversation, and the room was sound-proofed to ensure that no one could overhear purposely. Once they were both seated, he began his reply.

"Consumable substances, no, though there was evidence of a massive binge drinking of alcohol at the time of the attempted murder,"
he informed him. Alcohol was not illegal, but it still might be important for him to know. "A weapons, however, was there. Under section 3 subsection B, the University is considered a "magical realm" by definition, and Mr. Prior was in possession of a pistol, which is one of the weapons forbidden in any magical realm. I'm sure you know the list," he said. He would rather not name the students that observed the threatening, but if he was required to give that information, then he would.

Jacques leaned against the wall, and thought carefully about this. Alcohol can make people do stupid things, but to the point Defi was driven? No, not that far. He needed to find those stones, if they where here. Jacques resisted the urge to yell in frustration. He didn't need/want to bring in a sweeping team to find them. Damn, why did this have to be Nicolas' school? "Perhaps then, find a way to limit further alcohol getting into the school, or at least watch the teacher's personal stashs...Are any of the students injured? And what of the child who was said to have been nearly killed by Prior in another incident?"

"Yes, I will be sure to do that, Jacques," the Headmaster replied in response to his order. Yes, it was an order. He might have been the Headmaster of the school, but even he answered to some. Alcohol was on the ban list, and any teacher or student found with it would be instantly expelled from the University. He would make it official on Monday, when the weekend was over.

"In the threatening incident, no one was harmed." He coughed once to clear his throat as he recalled information about the student. "Ah, yes, Rio. He was found severely dehydrated, but now he is fine and recovering in the medical area. He will be discharged today and not come back to this school," he paused, "like he requested." He hated to admit this, but it was necessary. Somberness filled his voice like a flood, echoing through his words. He never wanted a student to feel as if this school was a place to fear, and three students had already felt this way, one of which felt so threatened he wanted to leave the school.

Jacques nodded, listening to the Headmaster's reply. The student had chosen to leave...understandable, sad, but understandable. Hopefully there were other schools like this one. "Thank you for your help, Headmaster...and please feel free to call me Jac, Jacques sounds so formal...so unlike me," He extended this as a gesture of comfort. The Headmaster he believed could make anyone feel at ease.

"And it is good that only one student has chosen to leave, believe me when I say this: You obviously run your school well, and your students chose to trust you. The ones who reported the incident knew you would stop Prior from actually hurting anyone. We have been to incidents similar where the place had to shut down because so many, staff included, left out of fear," Jacques spoke. The longest single speech he had done since his propsal to his dear Emma. He hoped it offered some comfort to the Headmaster.

The Headmaster listened to Jac's words as if they were the only thing holding him above the surface. The Headmaster trusted him, and that combined with the obvious experience of an enforcer made him truly believe in what Jac was saying. It helped him greatly, more than he would ever know.

"Thank you, Jac. Truly, thank you," he said in a solemn tone, gratefulness and honesty echoing deeply through his voice. In a more casual tone, he continued, "Is there anything else you need?"

"Yes, but...alas, you cannot give it to me," Jacques replied, intentionally being a tad over-dramatic. Then he grinned, "Unless of course you know where Nic is currently hiding..."

The Headmaster smiled greatly at the dramatic reply and at the answer to the question that formed in his mind.

"I do, but, unfortunately, he is busy at the current moment, and he is unable to be interrupted," he informed Jac. The importance of overseeing the Club Council meeting, though juvenile in appearance, was extreme to the Dean. "Are you implying he could offer more than I could?" he jested, knowing the two were friends.

Nic smiled and said, “Of course you do, now come on in and join the rest of us.” Nic turned back into the room.

Amir let out a sigh when it wasn’t anything serious that was troubling Tsuki. But as he mulled her concern over, he realized that she wouldn’t be with him as much if she transferred over to Aura. Feeling some pangs of jealously and sadness at this realization, Amir had to fight his selfish feelings and see the situation in best light for Tsuki. “Your right, I guess the best thing is for you to begin to shadow Aura…for now on…but…” Amir was going to add something but Nic interrupted once he re-entered the room.

“Alright everyone, settle down,” Nic clapped his hands for silence so he could summarize the decisions and move on with the meeting. There was still a duel to look forward to. “We still have lots to cover. Okay, so here is the run down about the dance:
1) Be in the Gym
2) Hollywood/Pop star theme
3) Various fundraisers to help pay for the food, decorations, and entertainment

“You got all that Aura? Good, now we need to move onto clubs. Additional things and fine tuning can be handled by each council group for the dance. Now clubs, please Phenia.”
Nic indicated with a hand gesture as he leaned on one of the side desks.

Phenia nodded. “Yes, well students can now start up clubs. All they need to do is make sure it will benefit the entire school community and have an active teacher who will supervise the club’s activities. Then come talk to one of the council members about who would present it to the council. For example, today’s proposed club is the ‘Dueling Club’ which I will be heading and Professor Liriale Montoya will be the adviser of. Nic has already taken care of the paperwork so we need not worry about it for the club. But that is pretty much the process so anyone who has good ideas for a club can start putting their ideas into reality.” Phenia finished.

“Excellent, and that leads us today’s duel. It will be held on the far side of the outdoor area so flying objects will not smash into important buildings. Most of the teachers will be attending so they will be stationed in a circle-like formation around the fighting ring and will act at any moment if objects come flying out of the ring. But, other then that I don’t see any reason as to why there should be any fatalities. Unless an idiot comes running onto the dueling field, which in that case he deserves to pummeled. Well then, anything else we should discuss?” Nic asked as he looked around to all the council and SCS members.

Tsuki was too caught up with her conversation with Amir to notice Jin coming in. His words hit her hard in her most vulnerable place, and she felt as if she would cry. But she wouldn't, not in front of everyone, that is. She had sincerely hoped he would have still advised she follow him, but that small shard of hope shattered before her very eyes. All she could manage was a nod.

Her attention directed towards Nicholas then, or so it seemed. Though her eyes looked at him, her thoughts were somewhere else. Aura's name briefly brought her to the surface, but she sank down below once more as the Dean continued talking. A previous Tsuki would be taking notes, but this one was beaten down spiritually, and she could barely function. Phenia's voice only sparked a flame of jealousy and anger inside the empty Tsuki, and if she were to cry just then, they would be tears of anger.

Just then, as Nicholas finished talking, Tsuki could not hold onto her rage and sorrow any longer. She managed to get out an "excuse me" before standing up and running out the door, throwing it open with a bang. She cared not who saw.

With the same rushed, distant manner, she ran out the library, into the main hall, and into the double doors meant for the dorms. Only a moment of hesitation was given to determine which hallway she would go to, and then she sped down the female hallway and into her room, slamming the door shut and falling on her bed. She then cried into her pillow, releasing all that she had held back during the meeting.
