Khalid nodded his head, putting a hand on Ember's shoulder, squeezing lightly. "I'm so sorry... this wasn't supposed to happen..." He muttered, hung up on how this just wasn't supposed to have gone on. He moved away from her and went down the hallway, going to the door she had told him. He unlocked the door easily and went inside to find Ryou still unconscious on the bed that was in there. He went over, sitting at the foot of the bed. He felt stunned. Atem came back with a bottle or two of prescription pills. "Here. I think these will be okay for now..." He wasn't aware of Khalid's presence yet.

Ember reached her hand out to take any pills he was willing to give her "If you look in kawi's room she takes pills to stay calm..."

"Okay." Atem said, shaking a few out into Ember's hand. "We should probably... get the whole burial thing over with. I'll go get Kawi's pills and give some to Ryou. Can you wake those two up?"

"Sure" Ember said dry swalowing the pills. She set kai in the chair before gently shaking yugi.

Yugi stirred, blinking his eyes open. He looked at Ember, confused, and then suddenly seemed to remember. He sat up, rubbing his eyes. He hadn't gotten a good look, but from what he had seen, things had been bad. "Ember, is... is Kira really...?"

Yugi nodded, looking downcast, and then turned towards Kawi. He shook her, realizing that she had fainted at the start. He couldn't seem to wrap his mind around the situation, though. Kira? Dead? No. Not her thing. A shout could be heard from the bedroom down the hall, where Ryou had been left in. Atem had gone in and woken the boy up. He became panicked and demanded to know where Kira was, and then why he couldn't see her. With Khalid's help, Atem managed to give Ryou some of the pills he had gotten from Kawi's room. Atem hurried back to the living room, looking as though he was about to finally break down and cry. Khalid had vouched to stay with Ryou while Atem checked on the others. The boy was cleaned of blood, but he couldn't wipe it from his memories. He cried and cried, and Khalid held Ryou close, rocking him and trying to get him calm. Khalid had never experienced what it was to lose someone you truly loved. He couldn't fully understand Ryou's grief. After a while, the boy quieted down, the drugs kicking in. He stared dully at his hands, tears still pooling in the corners of his eyes.

Ember got up and wraped her arms around atem hugging him tight.
Kawi slowly woke up looking to yugi.

Yugi looked up silently to Ember and Atem, then down at Kawi. "...she's dead." He said softly, not feeling the need to mention who he was referring to. Atem hugged Ember back, feeling himself shake. He realized he hadn't taken any medicine for himself yet, but he wasn't sure if he would need any. He had lived for thousands of years, and seen many deaths. But why was this one affecting him so much? He rested his head against Ember's shoulder, tensing as he struggled not to cry. "Do you need any help moving her?" Khalid helped Ryou to his feet and led the miserable boy outside, to where the others were. Khalid, as always, showed little emotion on his face, but he wasn't as cold as usual. He had Ryou sit down and then went over to Kai, picking up the boy, seeing that he was being forgotten at the moment.

"No..I'll need to get a coffin first.....It wont take to long..." ember said "you should stay here with the others..."
"n-no!" kawi studdered and started to cry.
Kai looked confused as he looked up to khalid.

Atem nodded, rubbing the bridge of his nose. He looked at Ryou almost suspiciously; the boy was completely silent now, his head bowed down low. He swore that, as soon as he could without hurting Ryou, he was going to break every bone in Bakura's body. Noting Yugi and Kawi, he headed over to the two, shaking the bottle of pills. "You guys want any? I got them from your room, Kawi." Yugi was rubbing Kawi's back as Atem walked over. He nodded his head at his yami's offer, and quickly downed two pills. He glanced over at Ryou and was glad that his friend had calmed down; even if it was from the drugs, it was much better to be calm than hysterical. Khalid walked into the kitchen with the toddler, trying to smile. "I don't think you speak yet, kiddo. I don't see any way of explaining the situation to you. Your daddy's gonna be a little out of it for a while, though. But don't worry. I won't let anybody take you away. I'd have to do the same thing I'm doing with Rei. Nobody would like that."

"Dada?" Kai said tilting his head.
Ember gave atem a kiss on the cheak beforeleaving to get acoffin.
Kawi swalowed some pills before resting her head on yugi fighting back the tears.

"Yes, your dada." Khalid said, setting Kai down on the table and looking around for something he could give the kid. "He's going to have to get over your mama first, though, before he can be trusted with you alone." Ryou looked up at Atem, seeing that he was the only reasonable person there. "I want to see her. Where is she?" He asked, his voice catching slightly. Atem bit his bottom lip. He wasn't sure if he should let Ryou see Kira so soon. He knew it wouldn't be right to stop him, though. "Your bedroom. Ember cleaned up, so... There's no blood." Ryou nodded and got to his feet, holding out a hand to keep himself stable.

Khalid smiled, then picked the boy up. "You don't look that intelligent, but I'm sure you'll be an okay kid." He said, holding the boy close and moving outside, to the back yard. "Come on. All those depressed people were getting on my nerves. How about you?" He didn't expect the boy to respond, of course.
