She followed behind him, holding Erik on her hip.

"Come on Erik.... Lets go get ready for the zoo."
"YAY!!!" He yelled.
"Shhh... we don't want to wake everyone." She kissed his cheek and set him down. "Go start to get ready daddy and I will be up to help you soon."
He ran up stairs.

He was trying to pull on a shirt when his dad walked in. He was trying to get his head through an arm hole.
