Elizabeth I... she was apparently, according to history, the best British ruler of all time... she ruled for 40 years, and in those years, Britain emerged from being a big noob to being the most powerful country on the planet... (or at least in Europe)
you know, i think with the parliament ruling entirely... or, the congress here... a country can't really conquer anything anymore... because now things are lead by like 50 pansies coming together and taking "precautions" on every ******** decision, from scrubbing their toilet with bleach or chlorine, to nuking c**t-tries like afghanistan
we'll never see england rise again with the way its govt is now...

yeah... that's true
well... it depends on who's inside of it, really. if you have a bunch of hollow-heads ruling your country then it's kinda screwed...
but yeah, you are right, having a dictator can be horrible if they're dumb... or extensively corrupt... especially if both
but yeah... i guess that's what the prime-minister's for, right? though the real power lies in parliament, he's just the speaker...
