Angel took her chance and sank her large sharp fangs into Ayase arm to try and get Athena loose.

Danny pulls out another lamp-post, realizing this is his last chance...he aims it like a javelin right at Ayase, making sure he doesn't hit Athena, he throws it as hard as he can...

"you remember that nifty little gadget i used on you?? i wonder if your vortex can stay open after a dousing of holywater??" he said as the grenade exploded inside the vortex.
