It sort of makes more sense now to Billy. "You just don't want to share..." he says. "So you can't be with me, because even though I'm trying to be exclusive, this thing with Corri just won't go away?"

"Kind of..." Dom sighs a bit, and thinks, "If... if both he and I had some kind of crisis, you'd go and help him first. If there was some kind of... I don't know, super villain trap like out of a movie and you could only save one of us, you'd save him. And... You'd never really consider moving to Japan with me, or anything like that, because you wouldn't be able to leave him."

He picks up Shinya, but nothign else since he can't unlock and open the door, carry the kitten and do anything else, "When I was in Japan... a lot of my friends commented on how much I'd changed... and not really in a good way. I'm a lot less independent... and I've lost a lot of self-confidence."

Dominic ignores the hand and hugs Billy (almost enough to be called a huggle glomp) and finally starts crying.
