Was she blushing? Had she gone pale? What was going on with her face. Better yet, what the hell was he talking about? She made as if to look at him, but a Mercedes cut in front of her without using its blinker and she had to swerve into another lane to keep from crashing into it, slamming down on her horn. When she released it, she finally spoke, voicing her thoughts. "What are you talking about?" You know death has come when time is an eye.

Cops are not morally wrong. There are some bad guys, and there are some good guys, but that's in every profession. Some doctors won't operate on hispanics, do you see everyone saying "They're all morally wrong and racist."? No! You don't! It's policemen that are the scapegoats because they're easy targets. If something goes wrong, you immediately blame the police, not the people that did it! God!
And police are not stupid, idiotic, or useless! They do what they can and they don't even get paid enough to live on, and I don't think that's right. They prevent real idiots and stoners from breaking into your house and murdering people on a daily basis, they just can't get everyone. And people who think they should be able to do everything are assholes.
Sorry, but that's how it is. Try being a policeman, see how easy it is, how much gratitude you really get. *fuming*))

((And fatal: AninOnin Trist reached her motorcycle and wordlessly handed the only helmet she had to Claire. She wouldn't start up the engine until she was sure they were ready to go, giving them more time before someone heard that they were going to get out of there.
She swung a leg over onto her motorcycle, waiting for Claire. She gave Claire the helmet, so Trist was the one fending off squished bugs.))
