((Ouch! That stinks; hope you feel better soon! sad ))
Miki nodded, lying back on the pillows again. She could feel her tiredness catch up to her, and the thought of sleep was suddenly pleasing again. She noticed that Ms. Yuki looked tired, and figured she better try and get some rest, so that Ms. Yuki could too.
It wasn't long til consiousness was blurred, and she finally fell asleep, hugging Ami to her chest as she breathed evenly, her body curling up like a cat.
Just then, Cleandra and Michales reappeared. A small "aww" could be heard from the doctor as she saw the sleeping child, before turning to Yuki.
"Her room is ready now; do you want us to carry her up there so you can visit your friend, or do you want to take her up there while we find what room number your friend is in?" she asked Yuki. Cleandra was kinda hoping she'd get to carry the kid...Miki looked so cute!
Michaels had come back holding a soft blue hospital gown with little bunny prints all over it, Miki's size, as well as some blankets to wrap the girl up in. After all, the halls were still sort of cold. That, and there was a thing with kids and teens and not wanting others to see them in training pants if their problems were bladder-related. After all, with her body numb from the waist down, she can't control anything at those points, therefore giving her systems a break from being controlled. But chances are she'd still find it somewhat degrading, especially for her surprisingly high-seeming IQ for a 7 year old, which was a scary thought in itself. A kid that smart at such a young age, yet she had been stuck in the streets.......this kid was blessed tonight/morning when she walked up to that woman's door. The kid would go very far in her life, once she got a grip of the ropes of civilization.
"Sorry if we took too long; it was hard to find a dress in her size, so we had to rummage through them all. She's sort of small for her age." he said, but couldn't help but look at the girl. No, he would NOT go 'aww'; he was a man, and needed to act like one! 'Awwing' was not manly! HE WAS A MAN, DARNIT!

((I've been sick for 3 days, and my tonsels... or however you spell it, are huge! I can barely swallow water for crin' out loud!))
Yuki looked up. "You can carry her up, and I prefer if Dr. Cleandra changed her into the gown. And please, I'd appreciate it if you found Ceil's room number for me." she said standing and going to a waiting room down the hall.

Ms. Cleandra was surprised at how.....almost abrupt the lady left the room. Perhaps it was only because the girl was alseep, and that the woman looked rather tired and yet still had to see another person. Either way, at least she got to carry the kid up now, yay! "Michaels, why don't you go get the room number and tell it to Yuki? I'll get her to her room." she said, as she took the gown and blankets from him.
Michaels nodded, still feeling slightly insulted by the guests's words yet understood them. He walked out without a word, and went up to the front desk to find Ciel's room. AFter all, wasn't that the name the girl cried out as Miki was wheeled in?
Nodding his thanks a few minutes later, he went up to the waiting room and opened the door; sure enough Yuki was there.
"Ciel is in room 305, on the third floor." he said, before his beeper went off: another emergency. He quickly took off and met up with his crew, and they headed off to do their job.
The door opened in room 511, fifth floor (it was a large hospital), as Dr. Cleandra walked in, carrying a freshly clothed and wrapped up Miki, who was still sleeping soundly. Like all the rooms for serious cases, it contianed a button-filled hospital bed, a TV in the corner on the ceiling, a few waiting chairs, a nightstand with lamp, a separate bathroom, and a area for the doctor to clean and apply treatments.
Laying down the child in the bed and putting teh blankets ontop of her, the doctor then wrote down some things on her clipboard, before heading out of the room. She still had many patients to go through, and now would be the job of a few assigned nurses to check up on the sleeping child.

Yuki got up and went searching for an elevator. When she found one near room 121, she quickly got in and waited for it to stop on the third floor. Soon enough she stepped out into another air-conditioned hall, finding it stupid they did this IN THE WINTER. As soon as she found room 305 She quietly knocked on the door.
((Sorry if it's not good. I'm sick so I'm not really thinking correctly today.))

Zero sat in the cool room with Ciel. She was still unconscious but occasionally she would turn or make a crying noise in her sleep. 'Seems like the sedative they gave her is wearing off...' he thought. 'she's probably having a nightmare about the accident...' On impulse, he sat down on her bed and stroked her hair gently. It was what his "mother" did for him when he was young...before she left.
A light knock at the door interrupted the silence. "Hm?" He walked over to the door, opening it to find the girl who'd ran up to him when he first entered the hospital. He smiled.
"Oh, you're Ciel's friend from earlier." He stopped and added cheerfully "Thanks for earlier, if you hadn't showed up I wouldn't have known what to do. By the way, my name's Zero."
He glanced over at Ciel still lying in the bed and lowered his voice as if he didn't want to wake her. "You should come in." He ushered her into the room. "The doctor said she's healthy...but...she's..." he looked for the right words to use. "It's hard to explain actually...she was in accident that killed her parents...it seems that coming this hospital just reminded her of the accident. It put a lot of stress on her body...but she'll be alright." He said finally.

Yuki nodded, barely grasping the situation. She sat in a chair on the other side of the room but not before saying, "My name's Yuki."

Miki continued to dream, her body in the hospital but her mind in a totally different place. It was an interesting, strange dream, with marshmellow bunnies and a mountain of ice cream....
Dr. Cleandra began working on the paperwork for teh girl; since she would be place under the charity section as far as dues and whatnot, it was her job to make sure it went through.
However, as she sat in her office, she couldn't get over the girl's story. How awful it must have been for her, to be growing up in such a world......well, it mattered not, now. She'd find a home here where she could be safe from whatever it was she was fearing.
A figure sat deep within a abandoned building, his hideout, his sancuatry. He was looking frantically through something; pictures, the news papers. An old computer sat in the room, yet it was still on and looking through news stories. But he has yet to find what he is looking for...

"Well Yuki," He shrugged "The doctor will be able to explain better I think. It was sort of confusing for me, too" He replied. A long silence followed...He ran his fingers through his hair and sat back down near Ciel. She seemed restless. She was stirring in her sleep more often now. He continued to stroke her hair and hummed softly to her. He turned to Yuki, "How long have you known Ciel?" He asked curiously.

((Haha, I plan to keep an eye on this secret character from time to time, since Miki's kinda asleep and all. xd
Ooooh, I gotta bring back the little boy from earlier, who also hasn't said his name yet! biggrin ))
The automatic doors open and shut behind a small boy, who seemed to be alone at this moment. He was dressed head to toe in snow clothes, with the blizzard and all. He was wearing three layers; a red T-shirt, a green sweater, and a darkblue jacet with matching hat and mittens. He sort of resembled a blue marshmellow with fuzzy blond hair. A red scarf was also about his neck, but it was rather big for him and it dragged about the ground behind him.
It was the same one from the playground, the one who had defended the strange foreign girl.
He paused for a moment and took off his glasses, rubbing off the fog on his scarf. Word had gotten about that a strange girl had been seen in a hospital truck, very young with long brown hair, and very skinny. After all, the house that the hospital stopped by was on his block. In truth, the boy couldn't get his mind off of the girl since she ran out of the park crying earlier that day. Going against all rules of boys his age, he ditched his "friends" in an attempt to follow the girl, but she was too quick, and he lost her. He had no choice but to go back, but had waited til the parents were done yelling at the ones who were picking on her.
He remembered that many thoughts went through his mind; was she alive? Did she have a fever? Did she break anything from falling in this weather? Did she have hypothermia?
Why was it he was so concerned about the girl, whose name he didn't even know and who he knew nothing about? Well, other than that it started with an M, for that was all the girl had had time to get out and could get out correctly. That, and she was around his age, maybe off by a year or two; hard to tell in her condition. He was now out without his parent's permission, only leaving a note behind him to let him know he was "going shopping". Which in a sense, was actually true, for now. He had also ditched the gang early and went home, his mind on things other than spitball fights and how to scare Suzy with a lizard. The boy now took off his jacket and hat, and looked around, putting the glasses back onto his nose.
The hospital, in truth, had gotten many improvements; it helped to be the only one in town. There were many chairs below and many waiting areas for families and friends of ill ones. But with an improved budget, there were also many watching TVs that were on hte walls, and there were a few play areas as well, some reserved for the sick patients as well, as easy to tell apart by hospital gowns. He looked around til he came across his first destination; the hospital gift shop.
He had brought some money with him; for some reason (Probably due to the girl not having much other than that doll and a book), he wanted to get her something nice. Well, his options were SORT of limited, but he had saved enough that he could find something useful. He went inside and looked around.
"Let's see.......wait, what is it girls like?" he mused to himself.
"Hm........they seem to like flowers, dolls, teddies.....why flowers?" he sighed to himself; flowers died after awhile, which was actually sort of depressing.
After spending several minutes looking about hte store, he had finally settled on some good things; a few fake flowers (so they couldn't die, and they'd stay nice!), a cheap pretty dress set for the girl's doll (he hoped it was the right size; he had only gotten a glimpse), a "Get Well Soon!" balloon (could she read English?), and a pink fuzzy teddy bear with a red bow. Ack, so sickening; if the others could see him now! HE'D be teh one that would get beat up! He paid the nice lady at the register (who had for some reason been kind enough to giftwrap the bear and doll dress for free instead of adding the 5 bucks for that, and she kept looking at him funny, sort of giggling...). Ah, females. Strange people.....ah, he actually had some money out of the 20 dollars left! Nice!
Nodding his thanks to the lady, he walked out of the attatched giftshop carrying the girl's gifts as well as his jacket and hat, sort of scared of the gifts. NOW came the hard part; finding out how to get a visit for a girl he didn't even know.....did she even remember him?
AH, why did he care?! Then again, she might not be able to have visitors yet.......not sure what to do now, he sat down at one of the empty seats, resting for a moment as all the things had been taking a toll on him while he walked. He hadn't really planned on getting this far............he wasn't usually one to misbehave, despite who he hung around with.

(( Ouuuuu, I'm so sorry, got a bit..sidetracked, so I had to skim through the dramatic plot. I'm not that clear, so forgive me if I get some things wrong. x3 ))
Rina was too tired to evoke any sense of alarm or urgency upon herself, so she just walked, half dazed, to get her jacket and follow Ciel and Yuki with the sick Miki out the door. It was biting cold, and it woke her up a little bit. The amblulance sirens irritated her a bit, all she wanted to do was make everything shut up so that she could sleep. But she kept these thoughts to herself, climbing, more like stumbling, up onto the ambulance. The trip to the hospital seemed to take just seconds, and before she knew it, she was inside a warm bright building that smelled smelled of antibiotics. There were doors and hallways and elevators, with a sitting room in the lobby. There were already a few worried and tired-looking people sitting in the plush chairs.
A wave of worry finally washed over here as she realized clearly why they were here. She looked at Miki, now transferred from the stretcher to the hospital bed, fast asleep. She looked so small, so frail...Rina had to remind herself how tired she was, and she slowly sunk into one of the chairs by the door, across from the bed. She watched an unfamiliar people causing commotion in the room, as well as a man who was stroking Ciel's hair. She didn't bother catching all their names, there were too many, and she was really too tired...
Before she knew it, she sunk into a warm sleep, and the last thing she felt was a blanket being thrown over her by a nurse before she submitted to dreamless sleep.

((Sorry, Like I said, I'm still sick. I'm doing better though! I can actually eat now!))
Yuki's head drooped forward but she quickly adjusted herself, trying to stay awake. "So do you go tho the high school down the street?" she asked, trying to make small talk.

Zero shook his head. "No. I don't go to high school," he shrugged "Or rather, you could say I don't need to. I'm 'home schooled'" He gave a nervous smile. This wasn't completely true...but he didn't want to tell people the real story. He hoped she didn't notice.

Rina woke up to a loud crash. "Huh? What? Where?" It took a moment for her to compose herself, and she rubbed her eyes. "Eeeeeh..?" She looked for the source of the noise.
Oh.
She had slumped over in her sleep and knocked over the glass of water sitting on the table. "S-Sorry, I'll get something to clean it..." Her mind was fogged up with sleep and she stumbled to the doorway. Her eyes were bleary, and she looked back into the room before she left to go to the restroom.
