Gwendar:

He jumped back and regrouped with Nebride.

She clearly wasnt used to figbhting in formation but it didnt matter. He joined her in battle pluging his halberd deep into the chest of a monster only to pull it out and fling it at another slicing it in two. The blood flowing on the ground was not theres and the screams heard were of there enemeys.

The other hunters stood in a line every wave of monsters that came at them they would strike in unison slaughtering dozens. They were well trained.

4 creatures soon overwhelmed one hunter but he soon regained controle by smashing several vile's of holy water turning the creatures into a bloody goo.
This wasnt enough however and he suffered a grevious wound to his chest.
The other hunters all surrounded the wounded soldier quickly and helped him to his feet.
"BY THE LIGHT OF THE EMPEROR FALL!" yelled Sek as he crushed another creature beneath his steel boot.
of all the hunters he was by far killing the most.

Sek:

he laughed at Jane's comment.
He picked up his halberd and gave a mighty throw. The weapon landing in front of the gate amongst a dozen of the creatures. He clapped his hadns together and said a small prayer and a bolt of lighting hit the ground incinerating the beasts.

"EAARGH!!" went a beast as a hunter cut its throat.
"DIE! foul creatures of the night" yelled another hunter as he placed an enchanted scroll on the head of a monster.
He watched it explode but his victorious cry was a mistake. Another beast came from behind and stabbed him in the back so hard his chest burst open killing him instantly.

Gwendar:

he turned around he was killing them as quickly as he could.
"JANE WATCH OUT!!"

gren:

i looked over at him. "it's nothing for now. i'll tell you later"

the battle was gruesome.
The creatures bodys did not evaporate like daemons there corpses lying on the ground bleeding rivers of blood.
many had human faces scared and wrapped in bandages.
"we have to advance.....INTO THE CASTLE" yelled Sek realising they would not last long out in the open. too many hunters had already met there end here.
as Sek charged toward the gate the other hunters followed suit. In a spearhead formation they slowly cleaved through the monsters until they were but feet from the entrance.

"WAIT SEK.....IT COULD BE A TRAP!!" yelled Gwendar at the top of his lungs.
"then WE shall be the ones to spring it" Sek bellowed back.
before Sek took even a step within the tower a Chain beast Twice the size as the one gwendar had faced before burst out the side of the tower.
its Tentacle like jaws shredded a hunter into peices. and grabbed another.
"I SHALL TAKE YOU TO THE ABYSS!!" the hunter cried as he clapped his hands together. He had recited a holy sacrificial attack that caused his body to erupt in divine light.
his sacrifice however was in vain and served only to distract the beast for but a moment.
"GWENDAR!!!....ILL TAKE THE TOWER.....YOU TAKE THE BEAST!!" he roared cleaving through the monsters and into the gate....his loyal hunters directly behind him.

Togan:
he nodded but couldnt help be disappointed. he wanted to say something but he didnt know what. what could i possibly say to make her like me? he thought.

Sero:

"this is ridiculous!" he yelled killing three creatures with his bow.
he immediately grabbed a small vile of blue liquid and threw it into the air.
"ELAZUL! JUMP OFF THE GROUND!" he yelled hoping he would react quick enough to escape his trap.
they both jumped into the air as the vile smashed on the ground.
immediately the ground started to shake and crack. The cracks bursting with lightning the creatures all destroyed.
"were only givin one of those when we leave.....water gained from lakes far in the mountains supposedly constantly struck by lightning. Enchanted potions....what can i say they work quite well" he said as he and elazul continued off toward the tower.

Gwendar:

he Gripped his Halberd tight and prepared for the imminent attack.
The beast lunged at him and came crashing into the ground shaking the ground. He had managed to jump onto its back. From experience he knew his halberd would do little against this creature. Its hide was thick and made of twisted metal. Instead he placed his hand on the barbed the creatures barbed skin and started to pray. The creature Screamed as lightning started to tear at its back.
Within seconds he had spun around and flung Gwendar off of its back and onto the ground.

Sero:

He ducked quickly and in a fiery explosion the beasts were separated from there various limbs and blood splattered on the nearby trees.
"haha You and your potions"

Togan:
He finished his meal and quickly got up to get ready for his new training.
"Do we really have to wait..." he said impatiently

gren:

i nodded my head solemly. "yeah. any sooner than and you'd get stomach cramps"
