Well damn. She was pushed back again. Vanessa had noticed that whole strongerthanher deal. She wasn't that much of a musclehead, shich is why she usually chose to fight somewhat dirty. Though now that he was holding her, it wasn't that easy.

Oh well. She could still do what she could do. Even if Shouyin was bigger than her, her nails were still longer! As pathetic as it would seem, Vanessa went catfight. Her nails dug in the wrist she was still holding, and she threw her neck forward to sink her teeth in the shoulder that had just pushed her back. Hard.

She'd claw into and bite a fancy little thing called stone. And then he'd step forward again. Give him two or three more of these steps, and he'd shove her into a tree. Then he'd like, punch her or something.

Shrug.

"What the ******** had hurt. What the hell was he made of? Felt like biting into concrete. Not that she had ever tried or anything, but, yeah, one could guess.

Oomph, against the tree.

"Let go of me!" Annoyance could be felt in the higher pitch in her voice. Wouldn't stop her from glaring at the bully holding her, though.

His right shoulder was forward, so he held it up against her left shoulder, right forearm and bicep pressing against her chest. He let go of her left hand, hopefully willing her to do the same, before throwing a single left hook into her ribs. Wasn't strong enough to break 'em, but he'd be damned if it didn't hurt.

Now, he didn't like beating up on women, so cue cruel mercy.

"Give up yet?"

Now that one hurt. 'Specially A very cute and very imaged string of insults and swears coursed through her mind. Her vision blurried as the air was knocked out of her lungs.

But she soon came back to her sense and spit at Shouyin's face, like the good lady she was. "So I take it you don't wanna be my slave?"

...

Shouyin blinked and hit her again. It didn't feel so bad when she was being a jerk.

This time, she'd hit first, though. Three times, too. Before Shouyin's fist connected with her ribs once more, Vanessa threw her own fist, the left one, toward the side of the man's neck. Her left leg went on too, shooting toward Shouyin's right shin. As for the third hit, it was her right knee, flying up to Shouyin's crotch. Since he was pinning her quite strongly against the tree, she figured she wouldn't fall. If she did fall, well ... she wouldn't be pinned anymore, at least.

"Yaaaawn." Stone stone stone. He hit her again.

"Give. Up. Yet?"

"Go to Hell ..."

Although she didn't try again. She hurt all over, and her knuckles felt like she just punched a wall. Yeah, she was giving up.

"Opk." Shouyin let her go entirely, pulled his sword out of the tree, put it in its sheath and like, totally walked away.

"O'ya, your ribs aren't broken, I don't think. Just take a nap or something.

The fresh air of the outward bearing trees brought back the feeling of home to the young celestial as he strode through the thicket. He hadn't been back in such along time, and since it had been so long, he decided to place a stroll through an unfamiliar part of the stadium.

A rustling in the trees ahead alerted him of the obvious presence of other people. Not knowing exactly what to expect, Naykop strode forward with a hesitant grip on his swords hilt. His brilliantly white wings folded close to his body as he stalked upon the fall of a battler. He watched the closing action and brought himself up into a tree, seeing the final bid of talk before the victor left. He smiled down from his perch, camoflauged by the dense branches. "Ah, ta shame he been lookin' fer some action, and me now'ere ta be seen. If o'ly I chose ta come ba'k a bit soon'r 'n m'ybe 'e'da wanted to fight me instea'."

It had been a long while Since Vince had been there. It was an odd grouping of mixed feelings and eerie thoughts as he recalled his last visit here. It was his home, of sorts, as had been made by Cerebus. He hadn't seen that man in a while, though he casted the thought off as he ran a hand through his hair, which had changed color. Black, with streaks of red. he'd even cut it, which was something he rarely did.It was now cut short in the back, and just at his eyebrows in the front. He could see fine, seeing as it was higher than his eyes. He wore what was simply his own sort of clothing, which consisted of old worn Khaki cargo pants, and a tank-top. Once he had had a good look around, he made two movements. One was kicking a tree, and the other was using the kicking of the tree to get to the tree that used to be his bed. He settled in the corner, and let his leg bag swivel a bit. Other than that, he had nothing. Once he had settled, however, he finally relaxed and contemplated why he was back. Or better yet, why he was going to stay.

"Assface."

Vanessa got up. Then, she got down again. How pretty were the big, purple blots blacking out her vision. How soft was the harsh cough coming out from the depths of her lungs. How deliciously lovely was the taste of her inner acids when cough turned to puke.

"Erh ... not good."

Not good indeed. She gave a side glance to her jar, a huge boulder of a contraption. She could hear it screeching and wailing. It couldn't bear the emptyness. It yearned to be filled, to be satiated with the spirit of the deads.

The Spirit Jar was hungry, and Vanessa couldn't even twitch a toe because of it.

VIncent had managed rest in the tree, however uncomfortable it may have looked. Truth be told, he enjoyed the feel of the tree, as it was what he was used to. He had spent a long while living in this tree, or under it, or beside it, or on top of it. He couldn't quite remember all the details, but he seemed to enjoy it. He rolled a bit and ended up on his stomach on the top of the limb. One leg fell and hung there almost pointless, while one arm on the opposite side matched it, making it slightly more balanced. Otherwise, he seemed rather asleep.

"Heeeeeey!"

Well it had been a while, now. Not a very fun while either. Poor Vanessa could still not move at all. She had a hard time even talking now, too weak to move her lips, and her tongue dry from lack of sustenance. If she ever saw that Shouyin punk again, she'd soooooo stab him in the face. Many many times.

"Anyone arooouuuuund? Kinda in a fit here ..."

Groans.
