Miki snarled and pounced angrily on her mate. "Do not dare to speak of your uncle in such ways! How would you feel if, hypothtically, we had children, and suddenly one disappeared. Then, a very long time later an adult fox, completely and totally different from your child appears and says 'Oh, hey Dad! Nice to see you again!' I somehow doubt it would be as crystal clear as it is to you now." She got up. "Do not blame your anger all on your uncle."

"Loki." She asked trying to mask concern, "Do you really think that the foxes here are as you said. Desperate to forget the past?" She asked sadly, "I just don't know what to do now." She growled looking down, then flicked her tail turning away, "Never mind Loki. I am going to go check on Rae and her BCRs." She said hastily padding forward.

"Different? What do you mean!" He said, raising his hackles. "I'm exactly the same, just a bit toughened up and mature." He said glaring. "And that's not even what happened." Tempest said, running farther away.

Loki sighed. "No, I don't," he called out. "I don't even know why I said that..." Everything was coming out wrong these days. He followed behind Sahari, splitting off shorltly before they reached the main group. He needed to think.
Miki followed again and tackleg again. "Oh? How is it not? Like it or not, Tmpest, we change! Even you! And finding you alive adds on to a list of things that he doesn't feel he can afford to think about, because he's terriefied he'll accidentally show who he really is. So shut up."

"You want the truth? YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!" Tempest said fuming. Unfortunatley, he couldn't get out of her grasp. "Fine, you win." HE said calming down. "I had this uncle, who's name I forget. He hated my whole family. Loki was his little brother, and he loved us. My father, the middle child always tried to protect us from my evil uncle. One day, My uncle set fire to where we were living. Me, Pyre, my sister, and Loki all ran. I looked back, and saw him killing mom and dad." Tempest said starting to choke up. "I tripped, but the others kept on runnning. I told them to, bt they were all guilty that they did. My uncle came back, and left a huge gash through my chest, and left me for dead. I don't know what it was, but it healed me and let me go. It seemed to be covered in everlasting snow. Probably a higher being. Anyways, I left the feild and found a group of humans doing the same thing i liked to do. They adopted me, and I lived with them until I grew into an adult.I left, and found Pyre." Tempest said, out of breath. "Even look below my fur, You'll see the scars."

Snowfur pranced towards Itsuki, Rae, and the whole little group of foxes who were gathering. She was in an especially good mood after being able to play with the elders and rolling down the hill. She especially wanted to see the BCR's.

Rae smiled at the approacing kit. "Hello there, Snowfur."
Miki her head, and jerked irritably, moving off of Tempest. She looked away, bridling. She was so sick of every single fox she had ever met treating her like she could handle nothing. "Perhaps my life story sounds trivial compared to yours," she bit out, still turned away. "But that does not excuse you withholding something that important from me. I can handle more than you think, Tempest. And nothing excses you for taking your anger out on your uncle and I." She turned her head to look at him, hurt and angry. "So perhaps when the world becomes less about your problems, let me know." She turned back around and headed into the woods.

Crap, he had done it again. he had pushed away someone he loved. "Listen, I' m sorry, I just let my emotion pent up inside me, ad hey exploded on you two." Tempest said, following Miki. "The world is nothing to me without you, please don't leave."

Miki sighed and turned around. "You can go around making apologies all your life, Tempest, but the fact is, you haven't dealt with your past for some reason or another.And you need to deal with it on your own for awhile, before you hurt someone who won't come back."

Miki nodded. "Hopefully, it won't take you that long. I suggest going to see Loki, by the way. If anyone could possibly help you, it'd be him. And I think he could use company."
Loki put a substantial amount of distance between himself and the rest of his tribe. He found the cliff that overlooked the river far below and sat down, absently watching the river for a few minutes. He needed to figure out what had put him in such an awful mood.
