"As the sword falls..."
Appearance: xXxX

Hueco Mundo: Muchos

Continuing to wander the forgotten sands of Hueco Mundo, Xanel's mind began to drive into a solid state of loneliness. Other Hollows he had devoured maintained groups that would conquer the pain of this unbearable place, but he had refused on multiple occasions. Gaining great power was something no one would share in the end. This constant feeling drove him to consume more souls and even other Hollows until bits and pieces of his mask began to shatter. As his journey was only beginning after so long, he sat down to rest for a bit. Waiting for what seemed like hours, he noticed a Hollow wandering into the Menos Forest, a place he knew he could not go. He would have to merge with other hollow and retain his personality to even have a chance of gaining more power, something not even himself could do.

Thinking about the other Hollow, he began to suspect he too could brave the dangerous forest alone. Waiting even longer than before, he desired to know the outcome. Hollows weaker than Menos level were forbidden from ever going in, he knew nothing good could come of the Hollows journey inside. After being still and quiet for so long, he heard a terrible roar and saw the light for a Cero more powerful than his own. The reiatsu of the light was overwhelming even from this distance, something he could not cope with at this point in time. As his hopes began to sink away, Xanel noticed a group of Hollows wandering the desert. They appeared to be new around this familiar area, a new treat for his strength to grow. As he attacked them, he began to feel a strong pressure building in his body. His strength began to grow as he released the reiatsu from his body and consumed the Hollows before himself. As the final Hollow was absorbed into his own body, his mask remained stagnate and unchanging. The empty feeling of no gained power depressed his already nihilistic look even more than it had appeared before. The power, he had sought so much was nowhere to be found and his consciousness was slipping away with no way to reclaim it. He was to be a beast with nothing stopping the rather slow transformation as if waiting for his response.

As the light from his eyes began to fade, a thought shattered the darkness. "Instinct." Something he had not used since his arrival. Up till now, everything had been pointless, but as a rogue Hollow appeared from under the sands, he knew that the power he sought had been lying in wait for his response. The tiger-like Hollow attacked him without warning, trying to devour the power he had collected for so long. With everything he had in this meaningless form, he released a wave of reiatsu from his wings creating a blade of wind cutting the Hollow in half. As he walked over to the dying Hollow, he began to eat the mask this tiger-like Hollow had been so proud of. "With this, you shall become a part of me and I will rule in your place." As the Hollow began to vanish his eyes met with the mask of Xanel. "It is cracking once again and when it is completely gone, you will die..." Xanel's nihilistic expression was replaced with an expression of shock and fear as the mask over his right eye had completely vanished and he stood upright on his hind legs. The once weak Hollow, had grown a little more stronger than he had been before. The nihilism showing once again, he began to walk through the first layer of Hueco Mundo as it had been his first time, something that depressed him even more.

A white distortion of sparkles and a ring of light seemed to bring into focus a rather . . . unique figure onto the plains of the Muchos. Wolf's keen eyes then began scanning his visual map for player characters. But mostly what he could spot were red dots, and those indicated enemies. Though, he could see at least one yellow dot, which indicated a player character. No blue dots, which were non-player characters or green dots, which were people that were aligned with Wolf/he'd met before and were added into his address log. He groaned as he began wandering the desert a bit more, furious that he'd not had a chance to level up much just yet. "Man. This server seems real boring. What's it's name again?" he said, as he began to visually flip through the help guide. "Ah. Here it is. This is the Hueco Mundo server. Home to mainly one class in particular. The Hollow class. Ah! Those are the ones that will come to Earth on occasions and attack the NPC or sometimes PC humans. I gained a lot of levels fighting those buggers. I didn't know people could play as them though, too. Neat." he said as he began searching out the yellow dot on his map. Someone by the username 'Xanel'. Hm.

Hueco Mundo: Muchos

Each step became harder as his legs could not maintain the constant strain of endless walking as he could before now; however, the feeling of walking on four legs seemed to be an even greater strain on him. Continuing to walk through the rough and gradient sand, Xanel made his way to the edge of the Muchos to peer into the depths of the Menos Forest. Observing the Menos Grande inside, he could begin to sense their enormous spiritual energy and decided it best to gain more strength before he made his way into the dark depths of the lair of the Menos and even the Adjuchas. Making his way back to the dead tree he had been sitting under, he noticed other Hollows chasing their prey from the World of the Living. He remembered when doing this meaningless task gave him great power, but sadly, he had grown too strong for the mindless Hollow seeking another meal to survive their next day.

Looking up and the crescent moon hanging in the same spot every dreadful day, he noticed a sparkle of light out of the corner of his left eye. This had been a new development, something he had not seen in the hundreds of years he had been exploring the same area. A humanoid type creature with massive reiatsu, more than himself in fact. He was worried that an unknown figure was here to destroy him as he had finally began to make progress with his goal. Xanel had decided that he would not attack this beast like human, but wait for him or her to strike first. Keeping his eyes focused on the figure, he drifted off grasping little pieces of his Human life before coming back to the present and maintaining contact with this strange creature. Is this beast...human?

Wolf, making his way towards the beast with great haste seemed to be smiling. "Hey there! Xanel!" he called out, waving his hands. Wolf actually had a deal of levelling under his belt, but didn't really have any true direction with his life. He was actually pretty content just meeting some members on different servers, though he mostly remained on the Earth server. He'd already met several of his friends from real life, although they seemed entirely against admitting that the fact was true.

Once Wolf finally met up with the beast, he examined it up and down, not avoiding getting handsy. He was quite intrigued by how someone of the 'Hollow' race could also be an NPC. Most seemed to be mindless beasts or at least . . . they lacked any sort of personality unlike human NPCs, which were far more abundant. "Man. Sweet avatar. I can't really remember picking out mine. Just sort of . . . happened. Did the same thing happen to you?" he asked, sort of wanting to climb onto the tall beast, but he refrained.

Though, as he asked, it seemed other hollows in the area had spotted him, and made Wolf their prey. "Oops! Sorry, Xanel. Too many enemies here for me to fight, I'd suggest signing into a different server or something." he said as the hoard of NPC hollows that had locked onto his presence made their way towards the area. They were a remarkably low level, but it did seem their numbers were great. It's not that Wolf couldn't take 'em, but that he . . . well . . . he didn't quite feel in the mood for level-grinding right now.

Sariyah wandered aimlessly around the white sands and dead trees of Hueco Mundo. Walking up to one such tree, she broke off a branch and twirled it between her fingers. She had been told a long time ago that they had been made of quartz. Though at that time she had been reduced to a bystander looking through someone else's eyes. Having fill control of her own body was a very satisfying thing for her. She had been sick of being a bystander in a world where being a bystander got a person no where. An image flashed in her mind of a particular shinigami she disliked. Well, more than disliked. Hated with a burning passion would be the better expression. It had brought Sariyah great joy to orchestrate the demise of that particular shinigami. Remembering the memory, she clenched her fist and crumbled the quartz branch to dust. She flung the dusty remnants of the branch into the air and let the wind take them away as she wondered how long it had been since she had been in Hueco Mundo like this. The last time she could remember was with an Arrancar by the name of Haseo. Sariyah sat down with a sigh and began to reminisce about how much she missed him. His good looks, destructive personality, and love of all things chaotic made her wish he was there with her. But of course, he wasn't. Making up her mind, she stood up with a determined look on her face. She was going to find him and make him hers again. Or so she hoped. However, before she could leave, she felt the presence of another in the area, and it was moving towards her. Either the presence was very far away, or not very powerful.

A smaller, much less powerful Hollow made its way across the pale desert sands. The fire-dragon looking thing was about the height of an average twelve year old. Pyraki lifted her eyes to the moon and breathed out a short jet of flame. It didn't make it very far before going out. This left her to stare at the ever-present moon. She breathed out another flame before continuing her trek through the endless desert. Being only newly hollow-fied, she wasn't sure where she was, where she should be going, or even what she was supposed to do. Plus the monotony of the endless white sand and black sky were quickly pissing her off. She was most certainly a hot-blooded individual, normally choosing to let her emotions get the best of her. She also acted before thinking most of the time. This got her into a lot of trouble. Pyraki saw a blue-haired individual standing in the distance, and, not having much else to go on, set a course in that direction. She jumped off a high sand dune and used the winds to glide over to where the figure was standing. On closer inspection, the figure seemed human. A primal rage started building inside of Pyraki, and she immediately knew that humans were enemies. Which didn't seem to make sense as she was previously human herself, but she didn't think before acting. "What's a human doing here?!" she didn't know how to properly sense other beings, so she was going on looks alone. She had no idea the being in front of her could easily kill her.

Sariyah had taken notice of the dragon looking Hollow long before the Hollow had taken notice of her. She had watched the Hollow breath fire, glide over to her, and then assume she was human. This got Sariyah pretty pissed for the fact that she saw humans as a food source and nothing more, but before she killed the Hollow out of rage she observed how weak the dragon Hollow really was. Apparently this Hollow didn't know any better, and couldn't sense other beings very well. The voice sounded effeminate enough, so Sariyah assumed it to be female. The Hollow also only stood up to Sariyah's chest. However, she could breath fire. This got Sariyah's attention. Having a fire-breathing compatriot might not be such a bad idea. Fire was very destructive, and being able to set things on fire at will was a great ability. Setting things on fire was also a great way to cause chaos and pandemonium. However, Sariyah would have to teach this Hollow her place. "Me? A human? Hah! I'm far from being human, you pitiful scum. I happen to belong to a high class of Hollows known as Vasto Lordes. I could kill you in at least five different ways before you even knew the first blow had been struck. You, however, are merely new and don't know how to distinguish predator from prey. Know your place." Sariyah let loose just a taste of her reiatsu on the poor Hollow. If the Hollow didn't flee or pass out, Sariyah would keep her.

Pyraki realized her mistake when the blue-haired figure explained that she too was a Hollow, and a powerful one at that. But the mentioning of being a Vasto Lorde left Pyraki confused. What exactly were they, anyways? Did they look like humans so that they could blend in better? Or did they get special powers by forsaking a beastly form in favor of a more humanoid appearance? Whatever the case happened to be, Pyraki realized just a bit too late that she might have made a grave mistake. She had no time to flee before she felt like she was being crushed from all sides. The air became heavy and hard to breath, and she was forced to the ground by the sheer pressure of whatever invisible force seemed to be affecting her. Pyraki had no idea how to deal with her current situation. Aside from the immense pressure, she began feeling something she had never experienced before that greatly, not even as a human: fear. Pure, primordial, eye-popping fear. Everything told her to run away, but her legs just would not move. Her brain told her to scream, but when she tried to open her mouth no sound came out. She understood that the humanoid Hollow standing in front of her was responsible for the pressure, and so she did the only thing she could manage. Pyraki glared up at the Hollow in an act of pure defiance, hoping the pressure would eventually go away.

Sariyah half-expected the Hollow to just pass out immediately, even though she was exerting a minimal amount of reiatsu, but was not displeased with the look she was given. She now rather liked the Hollow she had found. It would make a good pet, at least. Sariyah stopped crushing the poor Hollow with her reiatsu and brushed a few stray strands of hair out of her face. "Get up and tell me your name," she commanded before going on. "My name is Sariyah. I will be your teacher and guardian until you are not so weak or stupid as to get yourself killed. You will address me as 'Sariyah-san', and you will only follow orders from me. You will also not stray from me nor act without my permission. Am I understood?"

Pyraki was able to breath a sigh of relief when the crushing pressure lifted from around her. She barely managed to stand up before the blue-haired Hollow started talking again. Pyraki definitely did not remember agreeing to what Sariyah (as the Vasto Lorde was apparently called) was saying, and was about to say something but was able to catch herself for once. It was true that she was pretty weak and would be easy prey if she were to travel alone. If she consented to be taught by this more powerful Hollow, she could become stronger and not be at as high of a risk of being killed by others. All in all it seemed like a pretty good deal. "I'm Pyraki," she said, nodding once in submission. She would stay with Sariyah and follow orders. For now.

Akako's eyes opened, as if awaking from a nightmare. He pushed himself up to a sitting position and shook the sand from his mask. His arms and legs were throbbing, and sore. The entire bottom half of his body was covered with coarse gray sand. How long was I asleep? Did I make it to Earth? He questioned himself. his vision was still very hazy, and he felt like he hibernated on a bed of needles for the winter. He strained to unearth himself from about four-and-a-half feet of sand. The sound of the sand sliding out of his fur reminded him of waves crashing to the shore of long sandy beaches.

When his sight returned to him, alas, there were no beaches, no buildings, nor sun to invite him with warmth. Akako was only welcomed back by the dark starless sky, the mocking moon looking down upon him, and a sea of stark sifting sand. Wh- What? Did I get spit back out of the gateway? He threw his head side to side, looking around for any sign that he was not in the place he was before. Unfortunately, he'd come to the conclusion that he was still in the world of perpetual night. Rage was building inside him, and bubbled up to the point where he could not control it any longer.

Akako's tail contorted and lashed out at the dune he stood on. His claws dug into the sand just before he started taring at the coarse sand beneath him. He ripped and slashed until he found a bone buried in the sand. "It's all... Your Fault!" Raising his paw, ready to strike the bone out of blind fury, a blue light shined brightly. He swept at the bone and fired a Bala, shattering the little bit that rose above the sand. He turned his back and roared at the dark night sky like the beast he'd become.

He was breathing heavily, having tired himself out from his outburst. He panted heavily, and turned back to the dune he'd so viciously assaulted. Some more of the bone was showing, but it stood motionless. Akako stood up and looked down at it curiously. He scratched the sand around it to try and see what it was he'd unleashed his fury on. Carefully, he pushed the sand aside, and even tried working at it with his smooth bony tail. He'd grown tired after about an hour of digging, but he'd unearthed about half of whatever was buried there.

It was a giant skeleton, or at least most of one. The arm was splintered off at the forearm, and half of it's mask had been crushed and hollowed out, leaving nothing but bone. Akako stared at it for a while, but he soon recognized the mask of the huge behemoth he'd befriended when he first woke up in the world of hollows. Did he follow me all the way out here? Did he wait for me to return? How long have I been asleep? These questions burdened his mind as he mourned for the only hollow who he had befriended in this world.

Akako sat by the decayed corpse of the giant hollow who fed him ages ago. He could almost feel a tear run down his face. "Sleep well friend. I'm sure you deserve it now more than ever." He said his short eulogy for the hollow before setting off again into the barren wasteland. He didn't even know my name, and he waited there, for me, to his death. He walked between dunes, not wanting to be bothered with hiking up hills as he thought about what he had just seen. I didn't even know his name, and yet I'm grieving over his death... Well, second death, but still. No matter how far he walked, Akako still glanced back at the giant's grave he had dug up. He was waiting there for who knows how long and... his mask was crushed... Was he attacked? Akako felt chilled by the startling new idea that had blossomed within him, "How could anyone be strong enough to kill a giant like that?"

Suddenly, Akako didn't feel safe. He was terrified by the fact that not only was the largest living being he had ever seen dead, but there was someone even stronger, and possibly bigger, than the giant who could have done it. He was chilled to the core, and didn't feel safe just walking. He galloped as far away as he possibly could from the Giant's final resting place with the undeniable paranoia that some monster would be chasing him. He felt he could trust almost no one in this world full of hollows. Akako was alone. It then dawned upon him. The giant said something about hollows like us having to stick together. Akako started to slow down, and came up with a new plan. "If he was killed and alone, I just need to find some allies I can depend on, or at least the next best thing."

Akako ran as fast as he could trying to find other hollows that seemed, about, as strong as he was, but it was difficult to gauge hollow just upon appearance. Even that shark lady from so long ago was surprised at Akako's strength. After a while, he found something that he hadn't recognized, or even seen before, sticking out of the ground. it looked like a carrot growing upside down, and it was massive. Perhaps even large enough to rival Tokyo Tower. Holes were pierced in the huge structure like windows. Is this something like a hollow hotel? He came close enough to the structure to hear whistling coming from inside. The closer he got, the louder it got, and the stronger the wind grew. By the time he'd gotten close enough to look inside, he'd realized it was the building making the whistling sound. The wind poured through the pores like that of a flute or an ocarina. He peered inside anyway, thinking that it was shelter, and may be of use yet in his quest for comrades. He climbed up to a middle tier pore, and curled up like a napping cat. "I'll just rest here for a moment. That little panic back there really tired me out."

The soft whistling of the tower awoken Akako from his long nap. He yawned quietly, and listened to it echo through the tower. For some reason, he felt calm and mostly safe when he looked around and didn't have sand piled on top of him as he slept. His nap was soothing, almost therapeutic, listening to the soft hum of his temporary home. His head peeked out the hole and saw the wind had died down for the moment. That sandstorm died down. This whole world being a desert, I guess it is pretty frequent to see something like that, he thought, looking out at the wavy horizon, shaped by dunes, and leafless trees. There were few other large buildings like this one that Akako could see, but off in the distance there did seem to be something out there. he then looked up to the top of the spire. It almost seemed to pierce the eternal night sky. He looked back down at the ground to see about how high up he was. He saw the smallest remnants of dust devils quickly surface and fade.

I wonder... Akako thought before saying what was on his mind, "I wonder what is up on top there?" He peeked out a little more, and dug his claws into the large stone pillar. It crumbled slightly, but felt like it would hold his weight. He swung around, ready to climb the tower, but as soon as his hind legs left the ground, he started to slide down several stories, his claws, etching his path. He stopped after digging his claws in a little deeper into the stone wall. His fingers felt like he had pressed them against a thirty foot roll of sand paper, which he essentially did. He was bleeding just a little from his right hand, but he was determined to make it to the top, and began his climb from a lower tier set of pores in the tower.

Akako reached up above, and sunk his claw in the scratches he had just made in the stone, and pulled himself up. The rock seemed softer down near the base of the tower, because his whole hand nearly went through the wall when he tried to get a grasp. He was starting to get second thoughts about climbing the tower, and he wasn't very close to the bottom either. "Maybe this wasn't the best idea I've had since coming here." He turned his head and looked down to see another little alcove just beneath him. Carefully, he slowly slid down to the hole and took a short break. Looking down at his claws, they were red and bleeding a little bit. It stung to put his hands down on the ground so suddenly. He did the only thing he really could do in this form, and licked away some of the blood. It may not have done much as healing it fully, but it made Akako feel better that he wasn't going to be walking around with bloody feet all day.

When he finished licking his minor wounds, he looked deeper into the cave he'd climbed in. The recesses seemed to stretch into almost complete darkness. Still, not being able to climb the tower was one ting, but exploring a cave he was already in was a rather nice alternative. He stood up on all fours, and cautiously started to walk into the darkness. He was tense and alert, and grew even more so the further he continued. He could just faintly see the outline of the ground, but not as much to determine rough from smooth. His heart was racing as he traversed deeper and deeper into the abyss. He saw light from around a corner. It was dim, but any such light would be as bright as the moon outside in such utter darkness. He turned the corner and saw the source of the light: a large hole in the ground. It was almost as if what ever made this tunnel just decided to go straight down. "Where does this... GO!?" While trying to peer down the hole, a small chunk of his footing crumbled and fell down into the light. Fortunately, he was able to pull back far enough to escape it. "That was too close. I should be more careful, and... I... still haven't heard the rock hit the ground yet."

Once more, Akako cautiously approached the hole and looked down to see something similar to what was above ground: a large sandy wasteland, but this underground area had monstrous trees that stretched up , and may have even touched the ceiling of this giant cavern. It almost looked like the vast sandy surface was only like a cover for what was underneath. He studied this underground world, when finally, he heard the thud of the piece of rock that he had pushed down. "That is... quite a drop..." He said nervously.

Not long after it hit, a loud monstrous roar shook Akako to the core, as well as his high hiding place. He quickly scanned about the underworld to see what could have made such a noise, and there it was, stepping out from behind one of the giant trees. It was a gigantic, masked, black shrouded figure, large enough to make the giant above ground look like an ant. Next to the rock that had dropped, it was like a pebble compared to this monster. Akako observed it carefully and quietly. "A white mask... and a hole in the chest. Is this thing a hollow too? This gargantuan monster?" The giant walked around the tree mindlessly, and Akako was too stunned to even move, but he didn't feel like he was in any immediate danger. He didn't even think the giant had noticed him. He wanted to keep it that way and started to head back to the surface, when the hollow grabbed the massive tree with it's large bony hand and a large red ball started to form around it's mouth. Against his better judgment, Akako wanted to stay and see what it was going to do. His tail was swinging back and forth like a cat, ready to pounce it's prey.

The large red ball shot out like a laser and punched a hole right through the tree. Akako's tunnel shook and the hole in his floor started to grow. He was nearly pulled in again, but he quickly turned tail and ran. Cracks and light multiplied in the tunnel as he tried to make his escape. He could feel the stone and earth beneath him giving way and falling to the lower level; to the monster among monsters. "I don't think I'm going to make it. Am I... Am I going to die?" He grew panicked and he ran faster. He could almost see the light at the other end of the tunnel. He was almost free, but to his horror, he saw sand start to fill up his passage. "The tower is sinking?!" Frantically, he clawed his way up to the exit of the cave, and leaped out, just before it sunk below the shifting sands.

Akako kept sprinting for several meters after he made it out, and looked back at the crumbling tower. It was sinking so quickly, but it was like watching a tape in slow motion. He was so excited to have made it out alive that he collapsed in the sand, panting like a dog, and watching as the monument was swallowed up like the last piece being pushed into a giant three dimensional puzzle. by the time it had settled, no more than four meters of it stuck out of the ground, and it looked just like the barren trees scattered all over the desert "So that is how those are made." He stood up and approached the tree, looking at it from top to bottom. he smiled and chuckled softly as he raised his hand and tapped the tip of the top, "Looks like I made it."

The image of the giant shroud monster had been carved into Akako's brain, and it grew and picked at him until he decided, "I need to either know more about it, or study it directly. It looked like a Hollow but was way too..." He looked back at the formerly towering building. The giant had reduced a monumentally large structure into a small lifeless tree. "It looked far too normal to be a hollow." He tried to think of a better word, but none seemed to stand out. It was big. It had a shroud. It fired a laser, but it was otherwise very plain looking. As he walked, Akako grew more and more intrigued by the giant hollows that dwell underground. "Maybe someone on this side knows a thing or two about them." He started searching for any hollows on the surface he could find, but didn't find anyone. "It's bad enough that I've only seen one living thing all week, but now I can't find anyone to ask about it." He sighed, but a familiar echoing laughter filled the air.

"Kya-Hahahaha! I've finally found you! You thought you could humiliate me like that, Minnow? Well I've gotten stronger in the past year, and you're gonna be my next meal! Akako took a fighting stance, but couldn't see what he was supposed to be defending himself against. The laughter grew louder, "Don't tell me you've forgotten me? Why, I'm heart broken. Even after you've EATEN ME!" He started to panic and searched behind him, seeing nothing but the shifting sands. His tail coiled up behind him, ready to strike at a moment's notice. "I'm right here!" The ground beneath him opened up and a large mouth nearly swallowed him whole. His tail swiped at the Monster from the side, and pushed himself out of the way.

When he landed, he got a good look at what attacked him. It looked like a giant catfish with an extremely long tail "Wait a second... I think I remember you." Akako said in a rather unsure manner. He would have continued, but the tail had surfaced and swatted him away. "Just like a man. For him to get something, you gotta show him a little tail." Her incessant laughter continued until she vanished completely. She was that fish lady from before, but bigger. He saw a fin pass through the sand a few yards ahead of him, Can't fool me twice with that trick He braced himself and readied himself for her to attack him from behind. The fin vanished, and immediately, he lashed out his tail behind him, but hit nothing. "Where you aiming, Minnow?" To his side, he saw her diving at him.

"Bala!" He fired a bolt of blue energy from his mouth into the shark hollow's and he fell to the ground, gasping for air. As it squirmed around, Akako placed his clawed hand to her neck and said, "I could kill you for real this time, fish-woman..." He started, when her tail whipped up and nearly swatted him away again, but using his own tail, he pinned it to the sand. "As I was saying, I could kill you, but I think you can be of use." The Woman started yelling and flailing as much as Akako would allow. What is the Hollow under the sand?" He yelled over her cries and thrashing. She suddenly stopped and turned her head to him, "Minnow, tell me. You have a beautiful woman at your mercy and questioning her is the only thing you can think to do?" Akako remained silent, as if to hear the answer from his question. After the quiet spell had passed, She started laughing again, now louder than ever. "I can't believe you! You're so stu~pid!"

"Just shut up and answer me damn fish-woman!" Her laugh reduced to a chuckle. She took a deep breath, and managed to choke out, "They're called Menos Grande. They're strong enough to make me look like tomorrow night's dinner. If you saw one and lived, I'm guessing you saw one of those skyscraper shrouded ones, right?" He released her and nodded, "Those Menos are called Gillian, and out of the three classification of Menos Grande, now get ready for this, the Gillian is the weakest of the bunch." Akako staggered back in disbelief. But... It ripped down one of those giant trees in a matter of seconds, and she's telling me that's just the weakest? She giggled just lightly, "I know, scary, right? But we don't need to worry about that up here. For the most part, If you stay in the Muchos, You won't see anything above a Gillian at the strongest."

For the next few hours, Akako had spoken with the fish-woman named, Adelia, about all sorts of things such as the world Hueco Mundo, how they died, to even survival strategies. "You know Akako, you seem to be getting pretty cozy with someone who tried to kill you earlier today." She joked. "Why for all you know, I could be plotting to eat you in your sleep." There was an awkward silence, but it was soon broken by both bursting out in laughter. "It's the law of Hueco Mundo I guess: the strong survive, and the weak are consumed by them." Both stared up at the sky, into the almost hypnotic moon's spell.

"Hey, Akako, you know what's strange?" Adelia started, "While we were fighting, I could swear you had a reiatsu strong enough to be a Gillian, maybe even an Adjuchas, but you don't seem to have gone through your transformation yet. Akako cocked his head, "Oh? And you thought a regular hollow like yourself could fight off an Adjuchas?" He started laughing up until she said, "I am an Adjuchas, a weak one albeit, but a Menos Grande none the less. That's why I prey on you small fry up here." Akako silently averted his gaze to the ground. An awkward tension built up between them again.

Akako then decided to speak, "Hey, Adelia. When you transformed, what was it like? What was it like being a Gillian? And turning into an Adjuchas? She squirmed back a few feet and retorted with, "Whoa, hold on there cowboy. Only the first date and you drop these bombshell questions on me?" He stayed silent and kept looking down at the ground, "You really haven't transformed yet, have you? Wow, this is more embarrassing than I thought it would be when I transformed." She sighed and turned back to face Akako, "I'm sure you're strong enough to experience it yourself by now. Just don't lose yourself in the Gillian stage. In order for it to get so big, it absorbs all the loose souls in the air, and the souls you've eaten, and it just becomes one big mass of consciousness." Akako was totally lost in her explanation, and it was more than obvious, "Alright, it's like everyone you've eaten, and then some, are fighting over the control to the TV ."

Akako could start to see how this could be a very difficult process to deal with. He stared into the eye holes in Adelia's mask now, "I'm going to do it. I'm going to become a Menos Grande. Just do me just one favor, Adelia" he was dead serious now. He was going to become stronger, but he needed to know that she would do something for him, "When I become an Adjuchas, and I'm not still Akako, I want you to eat me. A world where I'm not in control of my own body isn't a world I want to be in. I just want you to kill me if I'm not myself when I finish."

Adelia stared at him, jaw agape. "This isn't normally what someone would ask of a woman... She said just before diving into the sand. "But then again, this is Hueco Mundo, and I'm not just a woman here."

Akako smiled and sat in the sand to focus. He focused on bringing out the energy he had stored up by eating souls, and fighting other hollows. He could feel his chest start to pound and his head throb. The grip his claws took in the sand felt like it was tearing the ground out beneath him. He shut his eyes tight, and focused on containing the energy. His muscles were aching from trying to contain the energy he'd unleashed, and he could hear a low mumble in his ear. Are these the sounds of the souls I've eaten? He opened his eyes to find that the sand was getting further and further away, or rather, he was getting taller like the shrouded Hollows in the ground below. His mask was changing shape like some kind of liquid creature deciding what to take the form of next. The whispers in his ears were getting louder, his head was throbbing like mad, but the growing seemed to have stopped, and he suddenly got a powerful primal urge to shout in triumph. He opened his mouth for a victory yelp, but what emerged was a loud roar like a monster from some horror flick.

He looked down at his hands to see they've become more human, but frightfully bony, and he thought he might be able to see something moving around his feet. "What is that? That little speck by my toes? Is that a hollow? His mind was flooded and clouded with strange questions and unfamiliar voices. I want to follow that little Hollow. Maybe it will lead me to some food. With gigantic footsteps, and an unclear train of thought, Akako marched onward to follow the small Hollow that moved around it's toes.

Finally getting out of Muchos. Entering Grande.
PostPosted: Thu Nov 11, 2010 4:42 pm

shizoku stepped forward as he looked around the forrest located within muchos. his cold, blood crimson red eyes gazing upon the glory of hueco mundo as he then pressed is knuckles together, cracking them each as he was about to begin his training. he'd heard of something known as the acidic touch, a technique which added the forc of a hollows attacks with a very special acidic property. in quote one could sinder the fles of another off with this technique. t souded helpful no doub, so shizoku began instantl. he stanced himself, bringing his fist upward as he then began to use a nearby tree for a punching bag. unlike the soul reaper aademy which had the finest dummies and training aterials, hollows had touse what they could find. shizoku despised this. soul reapers thought they could run existense, and control all. they were wrong. soon enough, shizoku would step into the playing field, and render the shinigami down to size, then kill every single one of them, till none remained. soul society would become shizokus personal playgrond soon enough..

he began thrusting toward the tree, delivering blows from both his fist, and his kicks, but nothing seemed to be working. a flawed and effortless attempt? he sought to try againand again, till results were formed. smashing his left hand into the tree in the form of a palm strike, it began to sinde slightly, melting as if made or spilled upon by the compound which was acid. shizoku felt pride and joy from this, for he had performed his first hollow technique once agai. hw he had missed firing ceros from the palms of his hads, but oh well. greater rewards were to come soon enough. shizoku began smashing the tree over ad over, plam striking it with unstoppable frce, as the trees began to collapse around him, cutting down like scythes from the bases being melted away from shizokus acidic touch. this was such a fun technique to use. some times, he thought of just rubbing the palm of his hand upon a small childs face, melting its flesh off instantly as he smirked at his own thoughts. how morbidly twisted they had become. such was the price of losing power. it made one thing lss and less about the human society. but who cared, it was all going to come crashing down anyway. shizoku had decided humans were the true monsters, and deserved the treatment they sentenced to prisoner whom had done no wrong. death...

shzoku decided it was time to lern a new, helpful technique as well, one whch would poise quite helfully in transportation. he had grown tired of finding gargantas to hop through, so why not make his own? learning the garganta ould pose such a nice, unique technique which could be used to travel to earth, and back to hueco mundo when on the run. a great escape route he thought. cracking his neck to the side once, then to the right, he touched one more tree, burning its braches to nothing but smoldering ash as he stepped forward, ready tolearn this new proprietery technique, which would bring him one step closer to endin gte human and soul reaper races. shizoku was plotting as he trained, deciding maybe it was time he learned and created a group of rebels to help him in his conquest for domination. it wouldnt be easy finding willing occupants, butr he had found one he belived. asura wouldprove so useful in the coming stormss.
head hung high, and arms crossed, shizoku began to concentrate, focusing his menality pon creating a garganta...

Asura sighed taking a deep breath before letting his energy slowly flow out his body his fierce eyes concentrated on manipulating his spirit energy to his will. The hollow energy began to gather in his right arm “Bala” He said softly before fisting the air but the energy stayed put coating his right arm before dissipating into the nothingness. Asura groaned aloud annoyed he had failed his first attempt. And he knew it was the first of many. Honestly though he did not enjoy multiple failures but when it came to learning a new technique it seems it cannot be helped. Asura slammed his fist onto the ground creating a miniature creator. He frowned and thought it through “if I harden my spiritual energy into this blow, I should be able to make a much greater crater…And eventually be able to release it and make it a ranged ability like it was meant to be used. Asura said as his right began to be coated in his spiritual again he compressed it walking away from the creator he created to find a smooth plain spot “here we go! Bala!” he said out loud as he slammed his fist onto the ground sending pieces of rubble into the air and a black dust reducing the visibility in an area around him to zero for a few seconds before clearing up . Asura had created a crater about twice the size then the one he had created using his plain strength.

Asura smiled to himself “not bad at all” He looked at his hand the spirit energy had dissipated after a single use. That was not good he should be able to use the ability in rapid succession like he has seen it been used before. Frowned as he coated his right hand in his spiritual energy and compressing it once more. He walked away from his crater and repeated the process of slamming his fist onto the ground with all his force. As the dust cleared out he kept the energy concentrated in his right hand this time it did not dissipate as he slammed his fist again onto the same crater created an even larger and deeper hole then the one before “mhmm, Needs a little bit more work if you ask me” he said to himself still not satisfied with the results. After three uses it was through well it was better then nothing he supposed now he had to actually throw it as his eyes concentrated on an boulder decided to make it target practice for the rest of his training “Sorry, this is gonna hurt you more than it is going to hurt me” he said with a wicked smile as his right arm began gathering his spiritual energy again and compressing it. He posed himself and sent his fist flying as it stopped the spiritual energy flew out of his hands and continued to travel at a decent velocity slamming onto the boulder with a loud crash. He waited for the smoke to clear out but decided to send another one in rapid succession and then one more. He smiled already mastering a new ability In such a short amount of time. It was progress no doubt now he needed to use it, in a real combat scenario. The time would come for that but for now he would continue to improve his Bala technique. This time he held his left arm out as he gathered the spiritual energy around his hand and compressed it this time quicker than usual and slamming his fist onto the ground first. Though it was basically the same process concentrating his energy in his left hand was a bit more complicated due to the fact that he was already use to using his right arm. But he never knew when his right arm would become useless leaving him no choice but to use his left arm. You could consider it an investment “Well then. This is not so bad” He said out loud as he launched the ability onto the boulder using his left arm with accurate results “Not bad at all” Next he knew he would have to relearn his ability to travel. It had been a while now.

shizoku looked over the area, smirking as his mind was set to learn his next technique.the garganta. a technique used to travel between dimensions of earth, caer paelyn, anywhere in general. turning his head, he looked over at asura, seeing his progress with the bala as he closed his eyes, blinked a few times, and sighed. he supposed it was time to act, and act now if he were going to learn this technique. he had so, so many more to learn anyway. extending his hands, shizoku closed his eyes, focusing all his spiritual energy into his finger tips as he extended them. his reshi was compacted tightly into the tips of his fingers. it was a great feet he was able to do this so quickly. before him, the swirling torrent of power and energy which was the garganta beganm to form right before him and asura.it was unstable, tearing through the fabric of reality and time itself. but it was a garganta no doubt, and was slowly begining to go through the progress of stablization, becoming part of reality.

"alright, now for the fun part, the creation of bending it to reality for good." in short terms, he meant making it actually able to withstand being within the fabric of reality without tearing apart the fabric of muchos, hueco mundothe garganta began to widen larger and larger, crackling with an intense purple lightning as it tried to stabalize. shizoku kept his posture, making sure he kept his hands extended forward as the garganta slowly began to close down, shirinking to about the size of a door, which one even he size and muscularas he was, could fit through.
"almost done."he said through gritted teeth as he finally claped his hands together, sealing the torrental energy forming within his hands. with sudden urge to try out his own creation, shizoku dashed forward, flying right through his own created garganta, as it closed behind him. after about two seconds, another garganta formed, shizoku flying through it as he landed on his knee. the process was complete, and he had learned to use the garganta . but that was just the least bit of his problems.
now it was time to learn the gonzui, a technique used to harvenge souls into a hollow, and devour them to bring one physical, and spiritual power, returned to there corporial body...

(garganta mastered.)

Asura watched Shizoku intently as he began to open the door to earth. Asura frowned hating the fact that he had forgotten to keep in touch with this ability over the course of a thousand years. He had been sort of lazy lately and did not leave this plane often seeing as he had found a decent way to control his addiction for souls, When he was in need in one he would easily steal fresh souls from returning hollows it was not that hard and it helped him avoid any outside danger, The shinigami came into mind most of the time usually encouraging to stay in the safety of this world and keep his head down as well. Asura watched as the portal began to form and shape into a doorway. His eyes opened wide as he recollected his thoughts from when he was younger.
“Gah!!!, I will never figure this damned thing out!!!. I want to go back home!! Why the hell am I even here!!. I do not remember dying! At all!!At all!!” Asura screamed at the top of his lungs a distraught soul caught in a world he was unfamiliar with but even then the corruption had already begun to sunk in starting with claws and making his way like an infection throughout his whole body “Why am I here!” Asura had tailed one of the hollows in order to find out about Garganta a supposed portal to earth that all these creatures could perform. Of course if he was here then naturally he should be able to perform such a feet as well but it was becoming rather depressing as he had been attempting for days with no luck and he had barely managed to lift his spiritual energy but as the time went by his body began to change as he grew taller and his skin became thick and rough his hair began to disappear until he was full bold and it was almost as if his skull was rising out of his skin. It was the most terrifying moment it felt like a dream to him but little did he know the truth. His soul had neglected to move in and he changed the corruption turning him into a soulless beast he now knew to be the Hollow. Asura had begun training on Garganta .And how he ahd mastered it by releasing an influx of spiritual energy and establishing a link between earth and this world almost like a pshycic connection but his spiritual energy was the catalyst. When Asura had finally mastered the skill he returned to earth only to find out he had already fully transformed into a monster and the moment he saw a human go by him he was filled with an over raging sense to eat. It was amazing it was as if all the years he had been alive and all the time he had been in Hueco he had not eaten a single drop his stomach was empty and his heart felt. Well he felt no heart honestly no beat he felt cold and alone and to avoid that he continued to consume himself in souls. Asura opened his eyes as he came back to the present time and remembered how to open the portal once again “well it has been a while” he said with a smile as he held his hand out in front of him a portal easily forming and Asura leapt into it as he was caught in a vortex of time and before him another portal formed the entrance to earth he landed besides Shizoku with a smile “well then. Let’s get to it” He said walking over to him.

shizoku smirked as his counter part had jus leraned the same exact technique he had. Together they were both making so, so much progress. It was rapid really. Tgether they would learn the techniques amd traits of the trade before even the night was trough. Even though it had just so very begun. Shizoku thought for a few seconds. Remembering what it felt like, what a rush it was, to be locked in battle with the hollows from earlier that night. So exhilieraring. To fire cero after cero, and use his sword from the old days. Kiba. Kiba had been the sword, his first sword actually, and only one he would ever recieve, that he trained daily with. It wasnt till he turned 16 that he created a blood oath with his own sword, amd sworn to use it till his death. The oath was kept, for shizoku took his own life with kiba, repeatedly cutting himself with the blade till death. The samurais of old would frown upon this, for they belived death to by battle to be the only way of leaving the mortal world, which they reffered to as a dream. Shizoku crossed his arms, looking back on the days as he trai ed daily, learning the ways of the blade..

(flash back.)
Shizoku unsheathed his dark, silver blade katana. His eyes glancig over t as he ready into his stance, the one e was commonly known for. Ken-jutsu. His thumb was firmly placed on the guard of his blade, as he readied it into the draw stance. Sighing quickly, he unsheathed it at blindig speeds, cutting down the three fence post which had remained right before him. They fell over lopsided, laying there, motionless. The calm, collective breeze swayed throughoutthe valley as shizoku sheathed his sword back into its silver sheath, and sat down cross legged, placing the sword upon his lap. He loved this sword, it was just so different from any and every blade he had ever laid his eyes upon. It had value. So much value, he'd decided to give it a name. Kiba. Why he had chose this nake he would neber understand. Maybe because he felt such a spiritual connection with his sword, it had spoken to him, telling him what name to give it.
"i vow you and i shall never part.." shizoku muttered under his breath. Looking up, the pale blue sky washed over him, blanketing him as if he were being protected by it. But that had all just been in his head. He wasnt ever truly safe, it was just what his mind had allowed for him to comprehend. Shizoku was always alright with this notion, as long as he could do what he pleased, and have free will to keep on going, the mind could do whatever it pleased. That was, untill it came up with the synical idea shizoku should mutilate his arm.

Those had been the old days. Shizoku missed when he could live within the human world, un bothered. But you know, life, and the afterlife had a funny way of ******** you up the a**. Turning his head in a fit of frustraition, shizoku extended his fist, a dark. Purple energy firing out of it as it smashed against a nearby tree, ripping through it, and continueing forward. Had this been a bala, alreadu mastered for shizoku?
"fine with me, as long as it will kill.." so much pent up anger and frustration within his heart. Shizoku wanted nothing more then to burn soul society, and earth to the ground. Once the primera espada, he could do so, sending all the espada out to battle would surely he more then enough to end all of both worlds. The black, dead heart which was shizokus was growi g more and more black. It almost didnt have any emotion what so ever. Didnt matter to him either way. Turning to asura, he smirked.
"how you holding up?" he was curious for his new partner, and was ready to defend and help him out till the end..

Asura flexed his muscles softly as he gazed up at the moon, his thoughts drifting to almost a thousand years ago when he had just become a hollow the first few nights were frightful being amongst on these monsters and to make things worse he was nearly mindless and void of all logic. He only remembered his past shenanigans because a part of his intellect had remained intact well at least a part of it. Asura turned to face his acquittance and he seemed to be lost in thought. Asura wandered off in his own thoughts. The time he was ordered to infiltrate a mercenary group as a human and retrieve a very special scroll one of the few memories he had still had of himself as a human. They came to him know and then and never forgot them

-flash back

Asura was crouched down behind a small ridge separating him from the structure ahead. Three buildings made out of a mixture of wood and iron coated in wood. And a small single structured much shaped like a shed. Most likely were they would hold the scroll. The problem was just getting to the structures there were a total of six patrols all in groups of four using fire to keep warmth and occasionally scanning the area for any intruders, His best chance of getting through would be midnight hopefully it would be a Asuray night and it will black the moonlight from giving the mercenaries additional cover. Behind him was Emna legs crossed and meditating “I do not know how you can clear your mind in this damned weather” He did not reply. Asura rolled his eyes keeping an eye for the patrol in case any of them came there way, After about an hour he turned around and sighed wrapping his black cloak around him Emna was just about coated in snow now. Good disguise if anyone came there way at least. He placed the satchel over his head and closed his eyes waiting for the night to come to try and steal the scroll undetected.

Asura yawned stiffly but avoided stretching knowing it might attract the attention of the mercenaries as he pulled the cloak and snow off him. He looked for Emna who was now just one big snow ball before him “wake up?” He said as the snow ball shifted and begin to fall apart Emna’s yellow eyes gleaming in the darkness “Stay out here. If I get caught or need a distraction you know what to do. Oh and try not to be seen or kill anyone this is a sneaking mission after all Emna grumbled but reluctantly nodded as Asura looked up at the sky it was a perfect night the Asuras hid the moonlight cleanly given him a much needed advantage there were single torches laid out around the area but he quickly found blind spots as he climbed out of the snow ridge and ducked down as he quickly ran towards the structures there were only two guards per post now but he noticed there were man on top of the buildings no doubt looking for any intruders luckily it was dark enough to allow him free moment he should be able to reach the structure no problem, as Asura reached the torches he slipt in between the blind spots and made it through his first check point now he would have to be careful if he got close enough to the guards on the roof top even in the darkness they would be able to stop him. The snow was coming down pretty heavily hopefully covering his tracks fast enough before any of the patrol man caught sight of the.

Asura reached the first structure avoiding the watchmen as he planted hi back to the structure. He walked to the edge of the building and poked his head out there was a single camp fire surrounded by six mercenaries and right next to the door he figured the scroll was in “damn it all” He whispered under his breath his mind working fast to concoct a plan to get them out of there and give him enough time to get in and out of the shed. Asura looked around his white eyes scanning the horizon he could use that distraction now but he doubted Emna would be able to see him. Asura frowned and suddenly there was a blaze a fire about a mile off in the opposite direction he was in. The guards immediately picked up their weapons facing the ball of flame heading into the sky. Asura took advantage and made a sprint for the shed while their backs were turned as he reached it the shed door opened and he leapt behind the open door as one, two, three man came out with weapons drawn ‘what the hell?’ he thought to himself they were running towards the ball of fire and with that Asura walked into the shed and there was a single ladder going down and Asura took it quickly climbing down the ladder h was in a underground cavern one way going right and the other left the herd commotion coming from the right end of the tunnel so he had no choice but to head left as he silently snuck through the cavern ‘what is this place? Scroll has to be around here somewhere’ he thought confidently. As he walked there was a closed wooden door as he approached it it opened and there was no were to hide he charged the man fast enough to wrap his hands around his neck and mouth and twisting it violently. The mercenary fell limp and he dragged him into the room. He looked around realizing it was his sleeping quarters. He looked down at the men he had the usual attire the rest did “mhmm”

Asura was walking down the tunnels wearing the dead man’s mercenary armor and weapon a long spear with a pointy iron tip. Also a necklace with the insignia of a star he was not sure what it mean but he tucked it into his armor in case anyone asked any questions about it. Asura had washed his hair with mud and putting some on his face and arms trying to make it look like he had been here for weeks now with the rest of them and arouse less suspicion. He managed to make his way to a small lunch area he took a seat minding his own business and listening to anyone talk about the dragon scroll, His white eyes scanning the area before a tray slammed in front of him followed by two more guys pretty plump they did not look like fighters but he assumed they hired anyone willing to work for them “I have not seen you around kid, You new round here?” Asura nodded “Sorta, I just been in the wrong places at the wrong time I suppose”
Asura said the grubby man scanned him before biting down on a piece of meat “This place is hell but the pay is good. Not that I understand why the hell were out in the middle of no were, They would not tell us what the hell it is we are protecting” he said annoyed Asura frowned “yea, no kidding. Hear anyone talk about it much?” He shook his head “Nope, nobody does almost like a taboo, Heard last guy who did talk about was not seen again in these tunnels whatever it is they do not want it getting out. As long as you keep your head down you should be fine everyone says at least”

Asura frowned “Say who hired you exactly? I wonder if there is more than one recruiter, I was recruited in stone, you?” Asura asked him he looked at him curiously. Asura could have pushed his luck but he needed answers and he was running out of time. He had hid the body with the rock surface with ice so it would take days before he was found but his real problem was not being recognized by any of the recruiters “yea, yea his name was Fang. At least that is what he introduced himself by, probably because his necklace is a tiger’s fang. Easy to spot with that little accessory” Asura nodded with a half smile “I see that is interesting. Fang” He said with a chuckle trying to make a joke out of it and they chuckled with him ‘brutes’ he thought to himself “Well it was a nice little chat but I am needed topside it seems” He dismissed himself and took down the tunnels in search of this man named Fang. He would have to torture this man to get his answers but that would make to much noise and alert every damned guard in the area he would have to find a way to make him talk.

-To be continued-

Asura turned his attention to Shizoku as he shook off his flash back "You alright mate? We should probably get going"
