Switching over to my school work schedule with actual school staring up again on the 25 or some such. Great golly miss Molly, life-life-life.
Kinda excited to go back, kinda not. Kinda in a runt of not wanting to do anything.

The event came to a close last night. Yesterday the youth teams took center stage. Our ISKU team performed very well in demonstrations of Iaido, Jui-Jitsu and Karate. High lights were the match between the US and UK youth Judo teams. It was tight but the UK team won.
The teams were evaluated and the US Bushin Kan team won the cup. I find this suspicious since their sensei is Hamada who organized the event. Personally, I think the Jui-Jitsu team from Hungary should have won the cup.
I spent the day either standing in attention or sitting at attention. Bow when you should bow. Clap when you should clap.
Currently winding down.

And the aftermath:
Scott's toe is broken and his ankle is swollen like a blowfish. Pretty sure that happened when they were after us with the shields. All I saw of him, was him flying by me with two guys all over him as bad as the two guys were on me. He had blood all over him when it was all said and done. Didn't think he had broken anything, but sure enough.
On a lighter note, since I was feeling pretty out of it on Sunday, the other instructors covered for me...
Student: "Where's Marty Sensei?"
Bill: "He didn't make it. He's dead."
Student: "Oh." And goes back to what they were doing. gonk
I'm gonna haunt me some kids. scream

Only thing i'm saying, 200 hours of community service and i'm free!

Only if they want it. If i try to push them into the family business, they just resent it. They already come to workouts. One of the karate moms watches them. They seem to like it.

Finally after 3 weeks of hell called Summer school, teaching kids for 2 hours extra plus my regular classes. That made it 12 hours working, 8 teaching...gah...tired.
