Marie blinked again, not sure if she just imagined the cup appearing or not. But she reminded herself that magically ablities were not a rare thing. "Oh, yes, thank you." She smiled warmly then gently took the cup and sipped at the hot liquid. "My name is Marie."

Hiyoshi bowed her head some and smiled brightly. You're very welcome...My name is Hiyoshi, and it's a pleasure to meet you. she purred, bowing her head again, tucking her hair back behind her ears as she lifted her head. The gardens seem to be unpopular, despite their beauty...This was rather curious to her, as things of beauty seemed to be highly prized in the Underground.

"It is a pleasure to meet you as well." Her name sounded familiar and she guessed it had come from Loki's mouth but she wasn't sure if this Hiyoshi was the same that he had babbled about. "I don't often get out so I hadn't noticed...but I love the gardens none-the-less. It would be a very nice place for a...a special event."

Hiyoshi pondered Marie's words as she gazed around before smiling and nodding in agreement. This would be a lovely place for a gathering! she chimed, curious as to what her daughter and groom-to-be had decided. She opened her mouth again, to comment on the many weddings she'd had take place in beautiful gardens, but decided to hush herself, for sake of not scaring the girl away. Might it be safe to assume you're going to be a blushing bride? Hiyoshi giggled, tilting her head as she looked over Marie's features.

The leaves in the tree above them shivered as Marie blushed again, her eyes glued to the sketchbook on her lap. No one knew about the wedding except for a select few at the manor. She wasn't even sure if Luel had told anyone yet. "I will be, yes," she replied quietly, the leaves slowing to a hault. "It's making me nervous."

Hiyoshi's eyes wandered to the leaves above, then to Marie as she smiled. You have very strong powers...she cooed, surprised with how many users there seemed to be in the Underground. She giggled softly to herself, placing her hand over her lips before offering a smile again. I'm sure you've got very little to be nervous about...Love has wonderful ways of making everything end up perfect. A nod in agreement with herself, Hiyoshi looked back up into the tree, a silent plea for any of those who watched over her to hear it.

Marie tilted her head again after looking up at Hiyoshi. "Powers? I'm just a normal human." Her with powers? It didn't seem possible...unless the experimental potion had done something to her. Her cheeks paled slightly but she said nothing more about it. "I'm only nervous about getting everything right...and telling my father. I don't think he would be very happy."

Hiyoshi tilted her head, pondering Marie's claim to be only human. She giggled softly again and gestured to the tree. Then you're certainly connected well to nature, darling. She offered a warm smile, moving back to the subject of Marie's nervousness. Curving her lips into a thoughtful expression, she tapped her lip. It just doesn't seem right for a father do disagree with an engagement, if it means his daughter's happiness...she thought aloud, observing the girl still.

Marie fist shrugged at Hiyoshi's first comment. She hadn't noticed anything odd just now but she rememberd things moving or shaking in the manor when she was around. It was starting to fighten her. "Well..I suppose..but.." She pointed to her tiara and shrugged again. Her father knew that she refused to marry for anything but love...but he wouldn't be happy about it.

Hiyoshi gazed at Marie's tiara a long moment, her heart sinking slighlty for the girl she sat with. Before finding her biological family, the family she'd been with seemed to treat her more like a trophy than a daughter, the Man of the House dictating her every conversation. I see...she cooed after a moment, offering a warm smile. Perhaps, in time...He'll come to respect your decision, hai? She offered, biting her lip softly.

Marie gave a little smile. She hadn't meant to dump her troubles on Hiyoshi but she had no one else to tell them to. "He will have to. I've always refused to marry for anything but love." She then glanced up to her and tilted her head. "I suppose it's silly of me to drop this on you after just meeting. I'm sorry."

Don't be silly! Hiyoshi giggled, shaking her head softly as she offered a bright smile. There's absolutely no reason for apologies, darling...You sharing your story with me is merely a subconscious way for you to show that you're comfortable with me. she purred, a soft blush gracing her cheeks. Which is always a good thing, when you wish for someone to call a friend, don't you think? A rather childish happiness had come to Hiyoshi. Since she'd stepped foot in the Underground, the only real friend she had was Ashili. Someone else to confide in and share with, of the same gender, would be wonderful.

Marie smiled a little and concidered her words. 'Someone to call a friend'. She needed a friend, most definitely, especially since Luel was so busy. "I'd like that. I don't have many friends anyways." She then looked up and to Hiyoshi. "So do you have any little stories? Are you...married or anything?"

More stories than anyone would wish to hear! Hiyoshi giggled, shaking her head in thought. There're were many, many, many stories she could tell Marie. Stories from when she was younger and thought to be an elven princess, or possibly the more exciting stories of when she found out who she really was - there were mountains of stories. And...Yes...I am married...she purred, smiling in a sort of absent manner as her mind wandered to those she'd given her heart to. To the most wonderful men in any and all realms you could think of.

Marie's eyes became all liquidy when Hiyoshi said she was married. She'd always liked hearing love stories and how people met and married. It was part of her hopeless romantic complex. "Really? Oh, what's he like? What's it like to be married? How did you two met?" The questions spilled out before Marie could stop herself but she'd never been able to stop them before.
