RJ shook her head, "You haven't heard then? The one we trusted as a bouncer, he raided our system, and he released our names....all of them, to the Union." RJ brought a hand to her forehead. "It's over Ruby, They're killing us all, and Baranar, is safe in his little apartment, most likely falling back on the blessings of the six."
She dropped her hand, meeting Ruby's eyes. "Your boy was on that list, Ruby, if you hadn't gotten away with him...." RJ trailed off.

"We didn't know you were you, but you worked for the underground just the same. They've got the name of the angel too, just imagine what they'd do to him. I've heard about them slicing off wings before. And you can be assured he wouldn't be able to hide his eyes any more. They'd cut them out." RJ hid her smile each time Ruby flinched. She walked over to her and brushed a blond curl out of her grey eyes. "If we gather together, we can protect ourselves. And if I'm guessing correctly, Baranar may have only handed out half the names, keeping the rest to hold his own life safe. If we stop him now, we might be able to salvage the last parts." She smiled, "help us Ruby, save your boy, save your angel, you can still be our hero."

5ilver 5treak How'd she know about Arch's eyes? he thought to himself. Something's fishy here... ((I'm pretty sure Arch mentioned it a while back, on a passing note when she questioned the shades. But damned, she's pissing Arch off as well, what with the talk of eyes and wings.))

((Arch's attatchment to his sunglasses has never been much of a secret, he was a prominent hero at one point after all, so researching it wouldn't take long at all, or a five minute convo with Erica would've given her the info too.))
Ruby was pulling at her curls, and as she described what they could do to the Angel, and the possibility of losing Aaron, left her in tears. She remembered the name Barranar, but she never knew him personaly, that she could recall, and still holding a partial prejudice towards former villains, she didn't need much convincing. She glanced at RJ and spoke in a shaky voice, "I'll need to talk to my Angel first."

RJ hid a curse under her breath, the angel didn't trust her at all, and likely he wouldn't be willing to help. She'd have to keep Ruby away from from him for a while, at least until she could dispose of him properly.
She smiled, "of course, and we'll get to that, but first we got to get you a disguise. Hmmm, I've got some spare clothes I can lend, and it shouldn't take too long to dye your hair."

Ruby nodded, following RJ toward the lower level stairs, neither of them aware of Blink's presence as they approached his direction. " I suppose I can get some others to help, bobby told me to call him if I need him, my angel of course, an I might be able to convince Blitz, an maybe Ancwalar, an Laurel too, she always called me auntie." Ruby chuckled, then paused. "I should call him at least, I don't want him gettin' worried about me bein' gone when he wakes up."

He retreated down the stairs, and hid behind the first open door. He was quickly becoming annoyed with RJ, for making Ruby cry like that. mad

Ruby was taken into a back room on the lower level of the club. Within a few minutes RJ came back with a armfull of clothes and some supplies to fix up her hair which she'd purchased from down the street.
Ruby started work on her disguise, and RJ headed back up to the main floor to wait anyone else who would be showing up.
