Harlequins will be released on the 14th of April in the UK and NE. All are sculpted by the one and only Jes Goodwin.

DarkElf27 My guardians kick butt, 40 shots at close range, followed by 40 close combat attacks. No infantry squad in the game can stand that! whee nice, you play uthwe, right?

Dark-oneechan I don't know what they have done to us under the new rules. But I loved some of the old tricks you could pull under the old rules. Ah we usually play 2000 point games. And there was this day where two consecutive battles first I cleaned up 2K of space puppies in H2H with the loss of 4 of my 20 guardians (2x 8 + weapon man units) to a total annihilation on turn 4. Then the second game was against blood angels 3 consecutive brightlance shots took out the fellows Vindicator his rhino and his land raider... All gone t1. I then proceded to annihilate him t3 to a man for no loss. Damn my lucky dice yeah the eldar can be fin lucky, like just recentley i played my friend with my 500 point eldar battle force against his huge 1,500 ork army, and i owned him in 4 turns, and i only lost 6 gurdians!!

Killua, you opted to play an game with odds against you?
You only get 40 attacks in CC, though, if you make the charge.
You get 20 if assaulted.
Now think about this real quick. Storm guardians get 40-60 attacks with a full squad in CC.
Couple something like that with an elite squad like striking scorpions.
Also, all of those attacks are only good if you can get all 20 of your men within 2" of enemy models.
Hm. Guardian Defenders would still be better. I was just thinking out loud. S4 Ap5 on 40 shots is well worth the lack of CC attacks, becasue Guardians and most eldar only get S3 T3

S4 Ap5 on 40 shots is well worth the lack of CC attacks, becasue Guardians and most eldar only get S3 T3 well, it was just a friend of mine, and it asnt like i completeley mauled him. we copied some spciel rules that were used in a white dwarf report. the rules were if i could get 700 points off him that it would be a tie, if i got 900 it would be a win for me, and i f i got over 1,100 points out of im then it would be a massicre!!! twisted which is what i did.

Sounds like fun. ^_^
This is pitiful of me.
I love m yeldar, and am not even close to being finished with them, but I want to pick up a 'Nid hive tyrant or some other single unit to paint up in a short preparation for building a Tyranid force over time, but that would take away from me putting effort into finishing my eldar.
I have 4 guardian defenders finished.
4 Guardian Storms finished.
2 Warp spiders.
1 Wraithguard
1 Wave serpent.
That is all.
I still have to buy 3 more wraithguard to make my unit fieldable.
I also have to think about sinking some money into elites now that Warp spiders are, in fact, Fast attack.
I have not even TOUCHED my swooping hawks or shining spears.
WHY DO I HAVE SO MUCH FAST ATTACK!? Ragge fraggle!
Hmm... I could change my Shining spears into guardian Jetbikes.... Save the bodies and weapons of my shining spears for other stuff.

No you can still find them.And they're in the brand new one and the one before it.As far as I know. And when you finish what you have for your army It...might work I'm not too sure. Do you only have 2 of a bunch of the models or what?... xp

No Storm Guardians are not extenct. They combined the Guardian entry. So dont worry your head about it.

Thank you so very much for clarification. See, the thing is, is I wonder now if they are going to sell storm guardians at all.
Because I did not see them on the site, and though I am sure they have plans for a future release of upgraded guardians with plastic CC weapons for storm squad, for the moment.. I am not sure it will be easy to acquire any. D:
I wanted to get a sqaud of 20. I have 8.
