hey ya'll! Im just getting home from a day trip to Blanchard Springs Caverns here in Arkansas. it was amazing. Ive never seen anything like it. They took us down an elevator 218 feet into the mountain to these caverns and we walked down stairs another 280 feet to the "flooded basement" it was a creek at the bottom of the caverns. It was so beautiful! As soon as I get my pictures on the computer I will share.

Well, looks like I'm not getting my gold shells back from the user I lent them to, support said:
I brought this situation up in our meeting, with all of the background information you gave me, and unfortunately it seems like short of you sending her a message, we can't do anything about it. Loans are considered to be at-risk; essentially, one is giving away the shells and might get them back depending on the lendee.
And the user never replies to my messages, even when she's online. So I'm 1,700 Gold down >.< And what makes this worse, is the user later sold the item I lent her the shells for, she sold all her expensive items (anyone remember? If you know who I'm talking about, don't trust her) Which leads me to believe that she could easily pay me back.

I'm sorry to hear that Aniima. I'm very wary with anything I've paid real money for- I've seen so many stories like this about people who seem trustworthy who actually aren't. Although I have no idea who you are talking about as I haven't really visited the GoPets forum in ages except to update my wallpaper thread. Can you tell me who it is? (PM if you'd like to keep it private)
I'm not very happy with GoPets right now. I've got Windows XP and a program called Parallels which allows me to run Windows on my Mac and I've got the newest version of Parallels which can run 3D games except the 'wrong graphics card' error always comes up when I try to run the GoPets client- I can patch and everything, just not run the stupid program.
I sent a message to support and they said they couldn't do anything about it and that GoPets didn't run on Parallels, but I keep getting the feeling they aren't going to even bother about trying to figure out a way to make it work. Same as with the Mac version of GoPets... It is never going to happen. neutral

(this was before COD was available of course) I would think that your situation is an extended version of my case. Because we were both promised something, we both sent the shells, and we both didn't get anything back when the time came. Perhaps you could argue with them that??? >.<;; heart edit: particularly because it's not the case that the user no longer had the gold shells to return. she did have it, and she chose not to. therefore i think that borders on scam.
