Ilandere woke up again and looked to Christopher. From where she sat she couldn’t tell if he was awake or not. She began thinking about the most recent events. Artemis was really taking things too far. She supposed she wouldn’t have been so angry had he not gone after her and had he kept his mouth shut. But no, he had to have the last word. If he hadn’t shouted at her she supposed she would never have left Third Earth, ultimately landing here where she was sitting at the very moment.

More importantly landing Christopher where he was at the moment with a nasty wound in his shoulder. Ilandere made a choice. It was something she could not go back on. Was it right, was it wrong? She didn’t know anymore. Right and wrong was too muddled to really tell. There was no longer black and white, it had mixed into grey.

Ilandere stood and walked to the doorway without looking back. She leaned against it and pondered more. She was on a different side now; things were going to be different. Saint Dane had pulled her in. Though she would have to decide for herself, was it the fact that he made sense to her – was that why she agreed to help him? Or was it because she was so tired of fighting, not only with him, not only with her comrades, but with herself. She supposed it was a little bit of both.

Ilandere continued facing away from Christopher, stress pushing down on her thin shoulders.

“I’m sorry, Christopher.” She whispered, though she knew he was probably asleep, “I’m sorry you had to get caught up in this. You should have left when I asked.”

Artemis looked up fir starubg at the ground for several minutes, with Devon looking over him.
"I made a choice. I fraked up. So now I'm going to make up for it. I'll need your help though Devon. Do you think that you can do it?"
Devon nodded once and they both turned to the flume once again, and shouted Zadaa. Artemis gripped his scythe tighter as he looked around twitchingly. Completely disregarding the rules, they went through the tunnels without resistance. Artemis shook his scythe a little bit and it turned black with an eye on the now sharpened blade. They both reached the capitol of the Rokadors.
"Whoa. That is still one impressive city. Don't you think so Devon?"

Devon stared up at the city in stone once again. He thought he would never get back here again. It was just, simply amazing.
"Artemis. You do realize that I've been here before, right? And you need to explain what you mean by you 'fraked' up. Start now."

((Dude, totally going to kill things here, but I'm going to be gone untill sunday evening -- family trip. So, I guess Artemis and Devon are going to pretty much get to Ilandere's place and things are going to be at a stall from there. Hey, maybe if I'm lucky that simple task will take forever and I'll be back in time to post when I need to xp .

After he let go of the scythe, he rolled up his left sleeve, until he reached his shoulder. On the shoulder on a weird mark, a spiral triple six. It was a deep red as well.
"Well now, that's interesting. It was a duller last time I checked."
Artemis gasped as the mark glowed briefly. It dulled back to the vivid red, and Artemis glanced around quickly. He noticed no one other than Devon.
"Devon, did you see anyone?"

"Well, well, well. What have we here? Artemis Xard, and Devon Zarda. I can't say that I'm surprised that you two met. Now, Xard, we have some unfinished business to attend to. Saint Dane is somewhere on Zadaa, and I want you to find and annihilate him. You do have Kafziel after all. Oh, and Devon there can help you." A black shadow seemingly materialized in front of them both and bowed.
"What do you want?"
"What every devil wants. His job done. Saint Dane may have escaped my grasp once. But with you and Kafziel on the job, he won't stand a chance. Or did you forget our little agreement? Remember, you promised to do my bidding, if I gave you and your little 'friend' your lives back. Now. Do so. " The shadow disappeared, and Artemis growled.
