He turned into a blue bird with a few flaws here and there he stepped up cautiously .Till he was an inch away he pulled back his feathered and went for a stab on the wing he succeed , and dragged it with his beak back to the camp site. He maintained his form and brought back 3 more birds he turned back into a human , and walked up to the birds he grabbed one by the foot and smacked it against the floor rapidly. He did the same to the rest killing them. Now he started to remember what Mori told him about making a fire but he remembered that he needed to pluck the feathers off of the birds first. He went to plucking getting some blood on his hands when he was done he simply walked over to a stream to wash up. He figured he must practice his first jutsu until Mori woke up so he did the hand signs and said henge no jutsu!!!

Mori was already up. "Clever, using the Henge no Jutsu to capture a meal." He said to Takashi. "I doubt we'll need a fire now, though. It's supposed to get pretty hot out here, and the rock should have the same effect as a frying pan."
Mori picked himself up, he'd already eaten his bed. It was dirty, but the herbs didn't kill him, fortunately enough. Without much further ado, Morirui practiced the art of transformation. Formation of seals, chakra gathering and release, the like. This time, he tried mimicking a sparrow that was flying nearby. So, he closed his eyes, and pictured the sparrow. Mori released the chakra, hoping that his technique would be effective.

"Hmph." Mori smirked at his success. However, he smirked as a sparrow, so it came out more as a deformed beak motion than a smirk. He dispelled the transformation with a puff of smoke. "Hey, Takashi." Mori shouted at him. "Want me to keep you company? I'm gonna leave for the academy soon, since my training's completed."

Takashi took on the form of his sensei he walked up sternly to Mori and said you haven't finished do it 3 more times he walked behind a rock and attempted to take on the form of a tiger "henge no jutsu"

But he then felt the pain of hunger he collapsed and looked to the sky mmmmmmmmm a nice bowl of ramen with spiced steak would be good right now or maybe some seasoned roasted duck marinated in buffalo hot sauce or maybe just some plain old spicy curry. He began to drool like a waterfall ahhhhhhh he smelt raw chicken but it was really the bird he had left uneaten. He grabbed it and put it on a rock he figured a fire would ork faster so he carried his partially cooked bird over to his pile of twigs he looked through them to find two twigs they basically looked like Y's. He stuck them into the hot ground one on each side of his pile of twigs he made sure the were about the same size he then took. A bigger stick he stuck it through all three birds like a kabob he put the stick on top of the two he had already put in the ground. He thought "this is how they did it in cartoons right ?".He took a smaller stick and began pushing it rapidly through his pile of twigs. Putting a little amount of his chakra through he made a decent fire. Now all he needed to do was let them cook. (half hour later) He smelt the cooking birds finish he walked over and ripped off a piece of meat and tasted it wow this is pretty good he turned his head to Mori and said want some ? he didn't take an answer he took his stick and went on to the academy Mori c'mon.

Mai frowned highly annoyed, she still had it wrong even after all this time. "Stupid jutsu and it's stupid hardness" she muttered kicking up dirt from the the ground as she concentrated on the handsigns. She knew that this shouldn't be so hard, it was only a jutsu, on eshe'd done before. 'Well you won't get it if you don't try' sh ethough sighing "henge no jutsu" she said sounding defeted.

Mai smiled at her sucess 'yes i don't have to keep doing this stupid jutsu' she though. She was rediculously relived she felt like laughing but she didn't knowing she'd look totally insane. 'And now for the academy' she though happily as she walked away from the plateau towards the main part of the village.
