Ksi Hearing a bit of a commotion, and seeing something out of the corner of his eye, Ksi looks over to see Synge stumbling in her chair. With a curious smirk, he addresses her directly. Heh, are you okay? nikki_is_me * After Aykon walked out, the bar seemed to be rather quiet, and Nikki had almost slipped into a daydream. When Syngey nearly falls, however, she abruptly snaps awake and start to move toward the woman. Seeing that she's alright though, she leans back against the counter again, waiting for her response to Ksi as it would be redundant to ask the same question again.*

Rhodes *She grins helplessly, who knew a person who'd be so embarrassed on seeing her. She lightly grabed his hand and tugged it towards her.*"If you still don't mind, I would like to stay with you tonight." *Her eyes gazed into his almost pleading for some reason. It could be she was nervous, or that she still wasn't used to any of this, or it could have been the fear of rejection she had and probably will always carry with her.* There, there, nothing to worry about. Of course you can sleep in my bed tonight, I have no problems with that. I am just happy that you weren't hurt by the water... *At this he chuckled lightly and started to walk up to the tavern with his arm around you. The warmth from him made you feel plenty warm and that was reassuring. *Call me stupid...but aren't you hurt by water? At least...most water? *Aykon blushed lightly as he was quite embarassed at his own ignorance.*

Aykon *Aykon could tell that you were not feeling all that sure of yourself so he decided to help you. He gently draped his arm over your shoulders, pulled you close and kissed you lightly on the cheek*There, there, nothing to worry about. Of course you can sleep in my bed tonight, I have no problems with that. I am just happy that you weren't hurt by the water... *At this he chuckled lightly and started to walk up to the tavern with his arm around you. The warmth from him made you feel plenty warm and that was reassuring. *Call me stupid...but aren't you hurt by water? At least...most water? *Aykon blushed lightly as he was quite embarassed at his own ignorance.* "You don't seem to know a whole lot about my kind do you?" *Her voice was light meaning she meant no harm by the statement and was merely teasing him out of kindness.*"I'm not affected by water, and that holy water nonesense that people hear about would be lies. The only problem I ever have with water is getting stuck on something and being unable to get unstuck which results in me spending an undetermined amount of time underwater, or I get cold and perhaps on rare occasion sick. Although being sick in not normal for vampires.."

*She saw the guesture between that the two had given towards each each. Her heart sank and she fell to her knees. It would seem like she had figured something out. Fire couldn't look at the two no longer. She just sat and stared at the ground.*

Ksi chuckles at Syngey’s joke, and then shakes his head. Well, as long as you’re alright. Hm, so your name’s Syngey, right? I’m Ksi, it’s a pleasure to meet you.He offers a firm, but not over-bearing handshake. Afterwards, he leans back, but remains facing her. So, from what I heard earlier, you're somewhat of a wander. Do you have any current goals, or are you still searching for something? Aykon Call me stupid...but aren't you hurt by water? At least...most water? (You're thinking of running water, such as a heavy rain, a water fall, or a river. Of course, ocean water tends to move as well. *shrugs*)

Rhodes *Walked with him up to the tavern, halfway up she layed her hand on his arm and smiled. He was indeed warm and no matter what she felt before it disappeared and she was left feeling content. Had he always been this comforting to her? She knew since about a year prior that Aykon held some sort of special place to her, that was one of the reasons for coming back.She paused in her walking to lean up and give him a peck on the cheek in return for the one he gave her. Don't you? *Aykon listened intently about the real way that water affected you and seem to make a mental note. He had never known much about things like this but was eager to know. He couldn't help but chuckle at the thought of Rhodes getting stuck somewhere, because it wouldn't kill her he found it funny where he wouldn't otherwise.*
*The two finished talking right at the door and he paused, hugged you and then gently kissed your lips as cold as they might be. He smiled and then lead you into the tavern*((Inside now)) Well Rhodes, if you get sick I will try to help you out. But for now, I need to close down shop, do you want to just meet me or wait? *He asked his question as he looked around to get himself up to date of the current status of the tavern and its guests*

"Well at least you are interested in learning about me and I'll meet you in your office. I need to grab pjs and probably dry my hair."
*She slipped her hand over his a gave it a light squeeze, since they were in the tavern now she wasn't sure if it was appropriate to kiss him so this would have to work for showing her affection. She allowed her hand to linger for a few seconds before walking to the stairs. Her eyes caught the people at the bar and wondered what happened to the new girl, Syngey, she looked a frazzled. She didn't stop because it seemed that whatever had happened it was fixed now. She smiled to them before heading up to her room. *

*Behind the bar, she finished off her water, and sets the glass in the sink, then collects the other empty and unattended glasses, also puttijn ghtem in the sink. She washes each, and then dries them all, putting them in the places they belong. When she's finished she wipes the bar in the area where no one is sitting.*

Oh, nothing important…Blushing a little, he scratches the tip of his nose. I just lead a group of holy warriors against the army of darkness, to ensure the survival of all mankind.With a slight chuckle he shrugs. Thankfully we’re having a bit of downtime right now.Rhodes ((I have never heard of vampires being affected by water anywhere.)) (Not surprising, most people haven't. Tradionally they were though. It was believed that running water would carry away their essence. Heh, and in one of the AD&D manuals it states that a vampire will take 1/3 of their HP in damage per round, while standing in a strong current. wink )

*Once in her room she gets in the shower to rinse all the salt water off, dries her hair and changes into her pajamas shirt, then goes back into the tavern and sits down in a chair for a while.*
