triple3 oy, I played flute for six years, then my band director got the great idea of switching me to trombone, talk about opposites, I still dont know how to read base clef, though I have only been playing for about a month... stressed sweatdrop It takes time to learn I started with drumms, went to trombone and then picked up 9 other instruments for the heck of it. OK So I wanted to know what to write and play when I was composing. Which didn't get me to far. I have this Repitition problem. If I like it I play it 1,000's of times in one song. LOL

I play trombone since it was the only low brass I could actually lift up. Hey, it's lighter than a trumpet! What I loved the most was the whole new world of perverted jokes that come along with the instrument. You don't even wanna think about getting me started. x3

No matter how much you wanna argue, you will always lose. biggrin ok. i play the trombone, and it rocks, but yeah, tubas are scary and evil in marching band when they snap down their insterments on ur head But a trombone can stab you in the back. Besides, tubas are unweildy very good piont. Plus trombones are the only insterments with cool slides. trombones r heavey but not as heavy as the so not as awsome tuba(tromebones r heavy in the case not when you play)besides the only time maybe u would get poked is if you where playing 7th possition(farthest position)trombone rule long live trome bone wwwwwwwhhhhhhhhhhoooooooooooooogo tromebone get my point here hope fully but if not play the trombone it is reallllllllly awsssssssssooooooooooooommmmmmmmmmmmmeeeeeeeee heart heart heart domokun

I can play the valve trombone, slide trombone, and baritone. I switched from flute to the low brass. And i can say that I love low brass so much more!!!

I play baritone/euphonium, unless its counted as two different instruments... then I play the baritone AND the euphonium.

Trombones ROCK the low brass! One of the hardest to play for brass in my opinion. Slides need to die sometimes...
