Karah got the early score on the first possession of the game, and Noreen had passed the ball off to Lewis. The Fifth Year Chaser nosed her mount over into a power dive, as made an attempt to snag the Quaffle away.

Brianna used her momentum to blast past Lewis and knock the ball from his possession. Securing the ball under her arm, she immediately converted her dive speed into altitude, making a zoom climb and executing a Split-S so she was moving towards the Ravenclaw goals.

It was then he saw the white-haired girl he'd been warned about send a Quaffle towards Karah. 'Time to do my job,' he thought, as he moved to try to intercept the Quaffle and redirect it back towards Lindsey

Just as he was breathing a sigh of relief, he saw another cannonball sailing towards Brianna, who'd just had the Quaffle snatched from her. The Russian hurried off to attempt another save...

That would have been a doozy of a hit, but it was saved by Afon. Darn.... Oh wait!! Now the bludger was headed right for Lewis!! Yarrick dove in, trying to defend. If she managed a success, hopefully she could swing into Afon for daring to block her shot.

Linsey saw a Bludger whip past her, as she zoomed about the pitch, and now she saw another one skate past Yarrick as it arrowed towards Lewis, who currently had the Quaffle, despite Karah's best efforts to take it from him. The white-haired Fifth Year leaned hard into a turn as she moved to defend Lewis, and maybe deflect it back towards Karah.

Coming in from a different direction than Karah had, Brianna was able to pop the ball out of Lewis's possession. With her blonde ponytail trailing behind her, the Fifth Year Chaser leaned into a snap barrel roll and started her own drive towards the Ravenclaw goals.

Lewis managed to evade Karah, and he thought he was living large.... for about a second. Out of nowhere, a bludger slammed into his back, causing him to fumble the ball, where Brianna quickly grabbed it. He slowed for a second, teeth gnashed together as tears sat on his lashes. Oh man, that hurt! He rubbed his shoulder where he'd gotten hit, drawing a deep breath to try and calm himself. Once he felt ready, he dove back into the fray, reaching out to try and steal from Brianna.
