I like this guild cause I can always come here for a bit of light-hearted fun... and also not have to deal with people who can't understand having kids before 30...

I had my first at 22. I have four now and if all works out might one day have one more. I must be nuts... xp

If the women in my family (my mom and my aunts) had waited until after they were 30. They might not have had children.

That sounds like my family... Every other generation but mine started their families around the ages of 18. This is why my boys actually have a set of living great great grandparents. As it was I only waited until I was 20. I'm 25 with 2 and I'm hoping to have more.

My aunt Lynn had her first at 19 and my aunt Jule had her first at about 24 I think. I'm in the middle ground here. We'll just see what time has planned out for me.

Do you guys ever feel that being younger parents, you get held to a higher standard than people who have children in their 30's? By the general public, I mean. I used to feel that very sharply- but not nearly so much since we moved- our old town was very judgemental/small minded.

I get that from my family. Nevermind the fact my aunt Lynn had her first child at 19. stare

Well, having Logan young worked for me, doesn't work for everyone. Although I haven't really dealt with too much prejuidice, I've gotten it here and there.

I doubt you look like you're 15 though.

I want to have all of my children by the time I'm thirty and have a hard time understanding the changing opinions on ages when people choose to have families and the almost disdain (I want to call it) for people who choose to have families "early"...though I really don't consider before 30 early. :/

I didn't want my first child to be 10 when I'm 40. That and it would be strange when it came to grandchildren. For me that is.

XD For me, I want all of my children gone while I have about half of my life left and I can enjoy it. Also, my mom was 36 when she had my brother and I think that was way too old to have another one. She just didn't have the energy for him like she did for me 10 years earlier.

That's exactly what I mean. I'm glad I have my son though. He is the greatest part of my life aside from Frank. I love them both. I just of course love them in different ways.

Hah, I do look like 16, I'm asian, it's a gift and a curse. Most of the time anyone says a damn thing about being young with a kid, I remind them they don't know me. I get carded for cigs when Logan's with me!

True, he wasn't planned, but I want to be able to have the energy and time to be a SAHM and get my degree by age 30.
