By the way, I'd be careful xD His weapons are completely free of friction (something I wanted to talk to dreamy about) which means that it's like he swings light sabers xD Only reason he can't cut diamond is because of the way diamond is constructed. Layer upon layer of tough gem which is like super chainmail in rock form. There's a reason it's nearly impossible to cut. The fact that his is more of a Gel like substance means he'd naturally be able to cut it but eh, I'll talk about it later xD Oh yeah, I almost forgot what I was talking about. Be careful, he has more than one weapon, and those pincers seem able to be cut xP *w* Wouldn't a frictionless blade be, you know, useless? Because it couldn't cut? Nope. It's the opposite. The less friction on a blade, the sharper it becomes. The cutting power is increased and the slack is removed. Just imagine it like I said it. It'll be like swinging around light sabers xD Almost weightless too because the lack of friction causing lack of resistance with the air. Also, it loses friction with time. I know the repercussions of the ability and know that the more it loses to gain, the closer he'll get to losing everything completely. Lastly, you're right about it not being able to go in any kind of sheathe. This is why he can move it from weapon to weapon or even his armor. He doesn't keep it on every weapon at once or else it'd be cutting through everything. Also, the handle is not effected in the slightest. It is solid as only the metal of the blades are effected. This does induce friction and is another repercussion on the ability. We can argue on this more if you'd like xD I don't mind. xXrAnDoM_eMo_KiDXx You have a really difficult username to type out btw xD Well sharpness and having no friction are different. A Lightsaber works because it's basically a concentrated flamethrower, not a frictionless blade. With no friction the blade wouldn't Catch on anything. It would just slide off .w. Well a lightsaber was actually supposed to be a "sword made out of light" simple as that. It was supposed to be weightless but able to cut through everything. Which is why star wars made no sense to me =w= two lightsabers clashing would just have the rays combine or flow through each other xD Once again, the blade doesn't instantly lose all friction. I made sure I worded it that way on the profile. It steadily loses it. Losing the friction on the blade would lose the resistance it meets over time. Or maybe I'm an idiot who needs to take another physics course xD Not an idiot, it's a good idea. Just... Science doesn't back it up XD Losing friction would limit the blades ability to cut, because it wouldn't be able to catch on a surface and begin the process of cutting

And this is why sometimes it's best to just say "because i say so." I mean, in all technicality, these characters are using what amounts to magic...and magic, by its very nature is not meant to be bound by the laws of physics. otherwise it wouldn't be magic.
Let's be honest here. If you try and make your powers all scientifically justified, you're just gonna end up with a headache. Like Gengyo's Bankai and Shikai are just "here is what you can and cannot do, and here is what does and does not work." the why, at least imo, is rarely all that important.
Sorry, been watching this debate for a couple days now and just kinda had to finally throw in my own two cents.

I'm still not sure what is going on. Did Hiroshi managed to avoid getting thrown into Jack? In fact if someone could just tell me what's happening that would be awesome. (Everything is Awesome! Everything is cool when you're part of a team.) Because I've read everybody's most recent post twice and I still have no clue. Here's what I got. There's an Arrancar, Axolotl, and a Fullbringer, Tierra, and they're fighting Jack and Hiroshi. Last I checked Hiroshi was being dragged underground while being thrown into Jack. I don't think that's happening now. I will post as soon as I understand what is going on. I promise.

@Zigzag: Tierra is an arrancar, basically she's Axolotl's fraccion. Also I believe since the attack was dodged by Rice that Jack should be completely safe at the moment although I'm not 100% sure, getting a little lost here and there myself.

TenshiRyudi What is the max time you give a person to reply to your post ? I have wondered the same thing, prolly more often than I care to admit. Usually, unless they've said somewhere that they're gonna be unable to post for whatever reason, I give them 1-2 weeks. After a week I just usually go like "hey wassup, just letting you know" in case maybe something came up that just made it slip their minds. After 2, though, if there's no notice, that's when I start to be like "hey, was goin' on?" Hope that helps some.
