Not even posting again until a judges call....that "glorious Athena" is a glorious joke. From the actions going on their last post was the biggest blocks I've read all tourney. Anyone else on?
Well other than your spear-blade somehow going from 'fully extended' to having enough slack to wrap around her wrist w/o any pause...oh wait, she caught it creating the very slack you needed.
Smart.
*continues to look through the fight*
Well as I see it, the chain flies past her say about five feet before she grabs it?
Dodge with a partial sidestep, swing, then grab.
But you have a problem...the blade of the chain is behind her. It'd have to arch in a clockwise motion around crossing over itself to aim for her chest. But you went counterclockwise around her back to stab her in the chest.
Which Athena blocked by the simple fact of giving it a yank forward.
You don't really have the room to swing out wide enough with the chain to actually stab in the chest anyways but as Athena went with it...well who am I to argue?
But then Bojoka changed the aim of the chain in midpost.
You can't wrap around her wrist, aim for a wide swing around her back to aim for her chest then say that the other end of the chain (still attached to you) piles out of your wrist and wraps her up with
'The final result would be her body wrapped from head to toe, held tight by the extendable chain.
"Not to mention that everything after that statement is piling on the motions. I love the idea of a combo, but you have to set it up before hand man.
Your chains would have stopped her attack from happening. So you wouldn't block it with your velocity-nulling ability, wouldn't punch twice nor drill her into the ground.
If anything, youd punch your own bloody chains as they wrapped her from 'head to toe'.
ATHENA's Counter: A slight step back and a twist of the wrist (perhaps even wrapping the end of the chain further around the wrist??? But that can't be right because you threw it aside) to stop the chain from extending any further around her. Could have been better written....but as it is kinda works.
Kinda.
But I expected better writting from you Athena.
As to the velocity-reflecting ability used on your hammer, I would imagine that resisting would be the last thing you want to do. It would have been akin to slamming it against a inflated tire that is unbreakable.
Can I get a slight rewrite?
