The air was silent and akward after Tadaaki left. Neji felt like he was the life of their conversation but at the same time he was glad that he had gone so he could talk to Carri as well. "Carri? I'm glad you didn't leave and came back with us instead. Come sit beside me," He said, pointing to the chair beside him with his good arm. One of the doctors had sat there earlier.

Neji nodded. He didn't want to say anything that would upset her and make her leave, he wanted her to stay. "Alright, alright. Since I won the bet, you'll be a part of our cell again. All we have to do is find the third person again. Remember, you have no right to refuse," He explained. Now he was thinking of Slishos. He wondered where he was right now and how great it would be to have him back but it seemed impossible. He was probably far away now.

Suddenly the door slammed open and Tadaaki fell in, he had been listening at the door. He jumped to his feet and did a little heroic pose to try and cover up his bumbling and then said, "Neji! You idiot! You can't start ordering her around!" He looked back and forth between them and then groaned, and slumped forward and said, "I'll wait in the lobby this time..." He then walked unenthusiastically out of the room and closed the door behind himself once again.

He stared blankly at Tadaaki, wondering what was he doing. Neji watched as he left and almost shuddered out how embarassed Tadaaki must have felt. "But you're held to a verbal contract," He said, looking at her. He watched her face, trying to catch her eye but she was avoiding his gaze. "You know we can be friends again? It doesn't have to be like it used to be, if you don't want it to be. I just want you to be my friend again," He said.

Neji had caught her eye finally. Unlike her, he was smiling sincerely. "Carri, I know you feel it too. We've formed a bond between ourselves some time ago, as friends. You haven't broken those bonds, even though you think you have. You've just set them aside and now it's time for you to bring them out again. Come on Carri, it won't be like last time!" He said passionatly.

Neji didn't stop smiling. He had a caring look on his face, a result of a rough and cold one that he used to bear some years ago. "What do you say? Will you give it another shot?" He asked her. He was mentally willing her to say yes. He wanted her back so bad. Over the early parts of his journey that he was gone he used to get the shakes because he missed her so much.

From the hallway there was a distinctive yell, "YES! I'M A SENSEI TO MORE THAN JUST THE IDIOT AGAIN HAHA!" Followed by the sounds of feet running off into the distance, almost reminicent of a proud overactive father who had just seen his new born for the first time in the hospital.
