Dhylan circled around the Pitch, keeping out of the way of flying bludgers. He eyed the beater going after Heather. Who did he think he was?! But he had to focus. He couldn't lose. He felt the warmth of his metal locket against his flesh underneath his shirt and new he had to press on. William had to Quaffle, and was getting boxed in by the other Chasers. That wouldn't do. Not one bit. Dhyl sped off towards the cluster, flying just below William. "I got your back, Captain!" he called, flying fast and straight. He was ready to intercept a pass, if need be, but was also ready to steal from the other Chasers if they somehow got the Quaffle from William.

 ~_~ Vanessa Hopewell ~_~ Sixth Year ~_~ Slytherin Vice Captain ~_~chaser Vanessa had been floating above the hufflepuff chaser after her steal attempt. It wasn't too hard for her to hear Ronyo's formation to which she nodded. As normal the blond made no motion to speak, knowing full well she'd be unable to be heard over the cheering of the crowd. The sixth year then pushed her broom faster to get in front of the hufflepuff. She then lowered her broom down some, not fast enough to cause the younger chaser to crash but enough to possible distract him. She then pulled her broom off to the side slightly in case she had a chance to steal. She soon saw an opening and slide backwards to attempt the steal. --/5 posts --❤-- --- --❤-- --- --❤--

"Bloody Hell!" Penny yelled out as she tried to reach out farther, bring up her knees even more. She was now on top of the broom instead of holding on. She was sure it was interesting to watch but Penny didn't care. She was trying her hardest to get that snitch. She pushed herself farther and tried once more. Great Beaters have the battle scars to prove it!" she called back to Darius. He was a lot like Ronyo, who was shouting commands to his Beater and Chasers. She circled around, hovering at a safe distance from the Captain. "Oh, come one, Ronyo. It's not that I like to agitate my opponents. It's more that I like to tease them. Like a cat plays with a mouse before giving the final strike." she said to him with a smirk before zooming off again. She watched as Darius missed William as well as... Dhylan! Oh no he didn't! "Back off my Chasers, Darius!" she said, following the bludger that had just missed one of her best friends, flying past him and the cluster of Chasers. The bludger seemed like it didn't want to be followed, swerving left and right and taking nose dives and sharp inclines, but Heather followed it anyways, mimicking it's movements and finally speeding past it. She flew a few feet in front of it, then pulled back on the top of her broom and swiveled around to face the cannonball coming towards her. She had to act quickly, or she would get hit again. Her knee still throbbed with pain, and she could feel it swelling up through her jeans. She had to focus though. Focus. And breathe. Focus. And breathe. she thought as she swung her bat, aiming at Vanessa once more, and hoping for a successful hit... What am I thinking? Yes!!!!! Katrina ran out onto the field among a sea of other celebrators. However, instead of congratulating the rest of her team, she made a beeline for her girlfriend. As soon as the girl landed, Katrina jumped into her arms. At this point, she didn't care what anyone thought about the two of them or their relationship. Kat planted a big kiss on Ariana's face. Third Year: Hufflepuff SeekerAriana, holding the snitch in one hand and her broom's neck in the other, landed on the ground lightly. Thankfully, Katrina found her because she hadn't been focused on looking for girlfriend as much as landing safely and away from the sea of her teammates. When her girlfriend jumped into her arms, the seeker dropped her broom onto the grass and held onto Kat's hand with her free one. "Thanks!" she replied in a shout as a large smile plastered itself on her features. Happy. He flicked his wand making the bludgeons and quaffle go in. His first time being ref and he did well. "Join us next time."

Third Year: Slytherin ChaserAmanda looked over at the Quidditch Referee when he blew his whistle in hopes that Penny had caught the snitch. She let out a groan when she discovered it had been the Hufflepuff seeker who grabbed the snitch. As she landed, she cursed under her breath. At least, it seemed like she was cursing under her breath when in reality, she was almost shouting. It couldn't be heard due to all the cheers the roaring crowd gave off. And Penny, you were really close to getting that Snitch! You should be proud of yourself for doing so in your first match!" she called, waving to all the green and silver dressed players. She flew down to the ground and landed with grace. "Hufflepuffs! You all played your best today, and it clearly shows! Great job to everyone! Let's celebrate, shall we? Party in the common room!" she called, grinning from ear to ear and waving at her team members, as well as the crowd that cheered for the Badgers. She ran over to Kat and Ari and couldn't help but hug them both. "We won the first match. Now let's party!" she exclaimed, releasing them both. She was sure that the couple would want to spend some time together and just be the teenagers they were. Giving them a little space, she waited for the other members to return to the ground before she would head off to the party.
