Carrie didnt flinch nor did she care about the looks of the room as she unclipped the only pokeball she had and let out her only pokemon. A drifloon floated as she let out the ghost.
"I am here to battle not be pampered, so straight to the battle!" She was ready to prove herself as she watched the drifloon float with an uninterested eye.Drifloon/Death lvl:2/Calm Hp: 16 Pp: 18 Att: 6 Def: 6 Spd: 8 Sp Att: 8 Sp Def: 7 moves: Constrict, Haze, Minimize Exp: 0/100

The voice would declare as something shimmer out of the air. Claws would touch lightly upon the ground as the pokemon and the creature would scamper out of the darkness.
"Though before we begin, please have your pokemon drink the potion."
The voice would speak as it simply shimmer into being right at her feet. The potion was a thick looking soup of rainbow hue. It was this that her pokemon was to drink before the battle could start.

Carrie shrugged and picked up the potion and looked at her drifloon before calling it over. "Here drink this Death and prepare for battle"
She said this in a emotionaless tone as she looked at the Anorith. She glared it down thinking of ways her ghost could destroy it. The Drifloon finished the potion and looked back at the Anorith ready to fight to the death.

Though that glare was a mistake, for while that pokemon was giving bad looks ...the Anorith had come shuffling across to strike. Afterall, she was only waiting on the Driffloon to drink the potion. After that, all bets were off as she drew her two claws together as they radiated death ...sickness ...poison as she came with a flash at her.
This would rip into skin and muscles as the pokemon pushed off the ground and tried to meet the Drifloon in the air with that toxic blend .....a single cut could end this battle or start it's downward spiral as the pokemon used Cross Poison

Carrie yawned and looked at her ghost "Death use constrict on that bug keep it from using its poison" The drifloon nodded and floated at the jumping pokemon and used his tenticales to grab at the bug before it could It could hit him with those poisoned claws.
As his tenticales moved to wrap around the bug it was just a matter of who was luskiest with the move, it was a dead draw on speed.((not sure if I have this right but since the both have the same speed they both can attack right?))

(Yes, and wow rarest of rare ...a tie, both pokemon attack again)
The bug hadn't jump high enough to catch the Drifloon and it's string as it reached to constrict hadn't tighten in time. He would fall back to earth unharm, but so was the pokemon he meant to attack. Hitting the ground he was puzzled for only a moment before he would come at the Drifloon again with Cross poison.
If at first you don't succeed ..try ...try again.

Carrie thought again and knew if Death could just get his tenticales around the bug he could squeeze it to death. "Alright Death constrict again and be careful this time" The ghost nodded and came again with his tenticales ready to grad again.
The Ghost floated again matching the speed of the bug again.

(2 - 1 + 9 - 6 = 4dmg/2 = 2dmg)
Poison was much weaker on that flying ghost, and that was good as that first cut hit across the skin ...the Aniroth would come to a stop. It's eyes watching dangerously for that move had put his back to his opponent as he turned to face, and he knew that that meant this opponent had a chance to strike.
He draw those claws in front of him ...up in the small protection that he could managed for then anyway.
( -1 to attack rolls due to fumble roll(1)

Death shook himself and glared at the bug. "Alright Use constrict once more" Carrie was thinking through to the next move. She would attack again then after that she was thinking about what to do.

But, this claws were a very interesting thing. He batter at those tentacles ...knocked them away, and if they tried to wrap around him ...he would slice them ....thick was the poison on his claws as he did this. He wasn't going to be taken down by some floaty ghost as the made his move.
His legs moving swiftly over the ground as he launches himself backwards. This was a creature that knew battle, and he was enjoying every moment of it.
After all, he was fighting a creature that normally would have an advantage on him as a flyer as he used Cross Poison again.

Carrie smirked "Alright Death get as high as you can to keep that bug from getting you again" She watched as the ghost shot upwards into the air above the battle field. He watched the bug from his higher postion as it jumped with poisoned claws again, this time he would keep out of the way as best he could.

It would work ....as his claws would strike only air. It was a very good thing that the pokemon retreated ...as it also gave a pause to the battle for a moment. The Anrioth would move to shift away from his attacker as well ....give them space, give them room, for a pokemon that knew only close ranging moves it could be a problem. Though for the moment it wasn't the thought that ran through his head ...only the wish to get away from his opponent ...then and there.
He could strike again when the vantage point was better in his favor.

Carrie smiled as she knew she needed to atleast damage the bug before her plan could work and since the only move that could damage that Death knew was constrict she had to use it again. "Death again constrict, and no mercy!" She called out and the ghost charged again ready to strangle the bug.
He closed the distance with ease as he charged his tenticales ready to grab again.

Though those claws, he was good with them as he parr and turned them before they could dare to constrict. If this was all the Drifloon had for him, he knew whom this battle would go to .....as the pokemon was smiling as he lunges with his claws pose full of poison at the balloon. He was determine he was going to pop it this time ....as he lunges as high upwards as he could get.

((wow the worst luck I have had in ages...)) Carrie gritted her teeth as she thought on her feet for a new plan "Again up out of its reach Death keep its claws away from you" She ordered and looked down thinking as the ghost obeyed with a little annoyance for this stupid bug, he rushed out of the way with his tenticales the only thing in range as she floated higher.
