Guess I was lucky to find a lot of friends and avoided most of the bullying stuff. My US History teacher even pointed out that we'll make fun of ourselves but if someone else says something then we'll defend them even if the person is right. sweatdrop
I forgot to meantion that snow in the north is more powdery and compact while snow in the south melts then freezes over night making driving conditions dangerous. Which is why we freak ^_^
Heck even we complain about NC's school system. But I'm saving that rant for another time.

I see nothing wrong with Goregia being named Gorege. I almost used Caroline for North Carolina but Charlotte sounded more fitting, not to meantion it's NC's largest city and the county beside where mom's side of the family live. Dad's side grew up here in the east so that's where Wilson came from. Virginia would be Virginia (I imagine XD)

Yeah. Our snow gets slippery. I remember a couple of times our principal would tell us ways to stay safe when it snowed or if there was a chance it would snow over the weekend. His biggest advice, which he highly stressed, was that we not try to go ice skating on the lakes no matter how solid it looked.... I really am surprised no one in the school came back with a story about falling through the ice on a lake on day one of the snow break. sweatdrop
The only reason I think he would be embarrassed would be because 1.) He's named after the king that caused America to want to break free form England, and 2.) He's Georgia. Knowing him, he probably thinks he should have a cooler or more creative name than George as his human name. xp

Sorry for my leaving...we got hit with a big snow fall and destroyed a bunch of trees. And they landed on my lines. So we lost power for 4 days...Its soo cold....all the Apples tree's are detroyed...including the one in my backyard...now my parents have a reason to cut it down...*cries*
And Kitty i'm from Germnay and i get picked on a lot being called a Natizi or somthing....It stinks. Thats why my gramar and speeling is bad...still trying to master English. sweatdrop so your not alone

We had a new kid who was telling us that he was born in Germany and someone jokingly said "So, you're a Nazi?" and everyone was like "s**t, Tim. s**t. >_>;;" because the kid in question was very obviously Jewish... (plus he had been born on an American NAVY base so he wasn't actually German at all.) It was suuuper awkward, but luckily the new kid had a good sense of humor about it and said "Yup. I'm a Jewish Nazi." ... Not exactly the same, but I've semi-seen how Germans still have some of that stigma on them and Russians will always be spies/communists. I always have "battles" with my "communist-b*****d-ruski" friend. Lately I've been trying to convince him that he is now an American because he's officially lived in this country 2/3rds of his life so being born Russian doesn't count anymore. It's funny that he actually takes me calling him an "agent of Democracy" far more offensively than when I called him a "communist pig." He wants me to go back to insulting his people and when I say "But we Americans are amazing!" he freaks out. emotion_awesome

Oh wow. I've been called a Nazi too, but it's just because I have an extremely German last name... I scared the crap out of the kid who tried spreading the rumor, though, so I really didn't mind. xd
As awkward as it may have been when it happened, that story of the Jewish Nazi has got to be one of the most awesome stories I've ever heard.
I have a friend who was in my school's anime club with me who was called a gay Asian once. He had worn a Sebastian wig to school and dressed as a Feudal Era lord for a History project one day and people made fun of him. It pissed me off, so I came to school the next day wearing my blue wig that's pretty short along with my "school girl" outfit, went to that class with my friend, and started calling him Hubby. The guy who made fun of him shut up pretty quickly. Because of that, Raymond called me "Wifey" for the rest of the school year even though we're more like big sister and little brother who are also yaoi buddies. xd
(And no, he isn't gay. He's just a little odd. The entire anime club had to talk him out of wearing a skirt to school one day because he, "Wanted to see how people would react after a hot girl had been crushing her big boobs against me." No clue clue who he could be talking about. *couchcough*)
....I will say that he actually handled wearing my sparkly bikini quite nicely at Momo Con. xd
