The wood used to build the office simply did as the makeshift restraints had done, entirely encasing half of the room to shield it from whatever Kirama had used. Attack wood head on was a stupid move against someone who could use Mokuton. Even more so against Akito, who, literally, could bend Mokuton to his will. All the while spikes spawned from said shell, and pierced the tigers. He didn't even have to look at them. Why rely on sight when you could feel them? As for the panda, his on katana was stabbed through his shoulder, and now he just sat there, bored. What appeared to be a patch of flowers or something of the like spawned from the attack Pikes used. Akito moved his hand, keeping his thumb horizontal while moving the other fingers up and down, up and down.

"You take them down, I seal them. You take care of things through force, I prefer doing things quietly. You're an a**, I'm a drunk. Either way, this fight will drag on. Lots of damages across the village if we keep this up."

Never the less, the dome began to shatter as the main force of the jutsu hit. In response, he grabbed the hilt of the katana strapped to his waist. A bright shock wave followed that moved as quick as his hands did, which seemed to have not moved at all. The shock wave, which was actually two attacks morphed into a cross-slash appearance, ran straight through Kirama and those that stood near him, though did no damage. Quite the opposite. It repaired whatever walls were shattered or broken. One of the kenjutsu he learned when he took his little 'pilgrimage' to the Bear Temple. He raised his left hand to his mouth and coughed slightly.

"Damn. Well, guess there's no reason to horseplay anymore of Jinsei doesn't wanna play with ya." He pulled the clay gourd out and took a swallow. Again, it smelled of sake, but was an odd color.

(Okay, multiple things. The tigers are gone, they aren't part of the fight. I made that clear. Second, that's an S-Ranked jutsu and unless your little wood wall is an S-Ranked barrier, which I doubt it is, you are still going to be at least injured. We're looking at a destructive radius of around 20 meters here. It's not just going to flake away. Also, the barrier created by the move would deflect anything chakra based along with small weapons.)

"No, you're a disrespectful kid. Your ego is too big for what you've done. I know what I'm capable of and I know I'm better because I've proven it time and time again. No one important knows who you are, you aren't a legend, not yet. You haven't defended this village against any great threats, not like I face while I was ANBU Captain and Hokage." Kirama said as he stood and stared flatly at the man. "You haven't earned the right to comment on anything Qastor, Sayra, or myself have to say or or decide to do. At least when I was in your current position I shut my damn mouth and didn't speak unless spoken to. Now go play with your Teddy bears, if you don't have any respect for the people here then you should leave because what you say and do disrespect the memory of someone very dear to us and who would be revered in this village where not for the ignorant simpletons such as yourself."

Sayra knew this was coming. There was no doubt in her mind. But while the twins, easily the weakest among the people here, were present, they would have to be careful. As she looked at the ball of chakra she wove her body, expelling chakra to keep the twins safe behind that wall. The office debree they would have to deal with while she held off the chakra. Her body forced out the Sranked chakra to block, though it was difficult. As her barrier ceased, she looked at them both, her eyes back to their lilac Byakuugan. "Kirama. Akito." Her calm, level voice was respectfully authoritative, drawing their attention. "Now isn't the time to fight each other. Akito. You don't understand what this man has done to this village and the Okazi clan in general. He has not only killed, but tortured members. Moreso he is also responsible for destruction; therefore he is classified as a missing ninja and is your responsibility to oppose as well if you are a shinobi of this village. Kirama... no one doubts that this is your right to take him down. However, the twins." The Hyuuga-Okazi was focused for she had them to protect as well as herself. S ranked attacks would kill them at this stage in their training and her tone pleaded with the older Hyuuga to remember that. Forming seals that were protective, she settled into a defensive stance, lest the wrath be turned on her.

Sesee watched the procedings through her eyes, skittishly eyeing the vibrations that came off each shinobi. This man was evil, she knew that from her Ojisan's reactions. As the explosion of slicing wind occured, she covered her ears, gritting her teeth as her vision was knocked askew. "Sotaniisan..." she whispered, feeling for her brother's arm and holding tight. Chakra was gathering in her feet just incase.

Teddy backed up til he hit the wall and remembered the incident in Suna. "Akita, a group of people of some sort invaded Suna, killing everyone and destroying the village til it was nothing," he said as he walked up to him. " I wonder if this all links up to The Wave Daimyo, if not another powerful source," he spoke as he looked around and again. The people in the office were starting to piss off him but not only him the Hachibi.

( (X-Cross Bamboo Blade (Attack used) is S ranked. And question... how old is Kirama? Wait... I remember that name -_- The Hyuuga dude that met with Kazuma before the time skips and guild wipe -_- Akito was 15 back then and just startting off as a Gennin ))

Akito sighed as he tried to explain to the best of his ability. "As I said, Jinsei doesn't see him as an enemy, so the most it could do would be to break bones on impact; no slicing. When you were in my position, you obviously eren't a people person; you're still not. I'd apprechiate it if you refrained from using that kind of language, especially in front of the woman and children."

One of Kirama's comments struck a nerve, though. "I admit, I don't know much about you. That puts me at a disadvantage. But don't you dare question my loyalty or respect for Qastor. I've been through Hell and back for him." O.k. He didn't have 'Zombie' on the resume, but the point was clear. He didn't see Qastor as just some other person, He saw Qastor as a Blood Brother. And just think, if the meeting had been taking place minutes before hand, Akito would be Hokage... wonder how much he could piss of Kirama then? He loved getting those who's heads were in the clouds all pissed off and riled up; it made him laugh on the inside. But something about Kirama.... there was some memory in the back Akito's head.

Now he moved on to Teddy as he finished. "Yea. I got my reasons for thinkin' so."

Teddy smiled slightly as he listened to everybody b***h about non sense. He spoke to Akito, " I say we attack Mist or Moon whatever they go by now, should we?" he looked at Akito and then to Kirama. That man he had seen before, telling Teddy he was low, who the hell did he think he ******** was, he can't tell Teddy what he was or what he was not. Teddy's eyes just darted looking at everyone as it turned back right to Akito.

"I'm not questioning your loyalty to him. I don't care about that, personally I don't care much for the man myself after he attempted to hunt down and kill my wife while she was in an unstable and confused mental state, but that's beside the point. I'm questioning your loyalty to the best interests of this village. You see, Qastor isn't a Leaf ninja and I know you know that. He isn't a Hokage, he is simply the leader at the moment thanks to his previous connections. You only look at him for reasons to do things but the man himself has very little knowledge of past enemies of Leaf. He hasn't seen the things that me and the others have and won't always react in the best interests of the village. He also, quite obviously, doesn't instill a need to remember the heroes of this village's past because from what I can tell he doesn't care." Kirama said as he made his way over and took a seat near Sayra.

He was staring daggers a Qastor now, since Akito had passed the buck he thought it appropriate. When Kirama was Hokage he instilled the idea that all nin were loyal to the best interests of the village before anything else. Kirama's shinobi fought for the village first, Hokage fourth or fifth. "And no, I'm not a 'people person', because people are like you. They are all too eager to forget what people before them did to make it possible for them to even be alive in the first place." Once again, his gaze never left Qastor, except for the moment he locked eyes with Teddy. The kid from the forest. Kirama had chased him down to try and make him reconsider the hasty decision he had made earlier. He hated seeing relationships like that ruined because people were acting rashly. If his words had helped that situation out then he didn't care what Teddy thought about him because it didn't matter. Teddy would forget about it or hold a grudge against him but he would still have someone he cared about. "Did you get things worked out with your girlfriend?" He asked as his gaze swung back to Qastor.

(Kirama is 30 something, which is old in this guild.)

Akito shrugged. "But you're not Hokage either. Were. Not anymore. So basically, you dropped office and are now questioning the judgment of one of your successors. On top of that, you believe you know people whom you have just met, and are completely avoiding the possibility of a major threat to the village you wish to have a better lead, and focusing all efforts on one person, trying to kill them within the very office said successor has called just about everyone in here to come to. By trying to destabilize the village before the storm... how exactly are you helping 'your' Leaf?"

"As for Moon, we attack now, the Daimyo or whatever he calls himself now will use that to gain popularity against us. Either we play defensively or shady. Attacking is out of the question."

He added one thing before waiting for responses. "I don't forget about those that helped me live on. Mion-Sensei and Father both died protecting our little town. Minato-Sensei died to protect Leaf. I can't forget something that haunts my dreams." His tone changed. He'd mentioned them now, but if anyone said something to degrade any of the three, then Jinsei would see said person as an enemy.

"He is not a Hokage, and therefore a successor only by technicality. I stepped down to allow one of my students, Kazuma Kaguya, to take my place. He was far more suited for a leadership position than I was at that point. I made that judgment call and I was right. I never said I know you but you obviously hold no respect for the mentor that I lost, the woman who saved this village numerous times and gave her life protecting the village from that man, or at least the part that is currently exerting control over that body." Kirama said as his gaze returned to Akito and he pointed to Valentine.

"For someone who seems so touchy over his own lost mentor, judging on tone of voice, you would think that you would harbor at least some understanding of the position that I am in at the moment and some respect for the woman without whom your predecessors would have never survived long enough for you to be born. How would you react if you had to watch your mentor literally gutted and turned into a puppet right before your very eyes? How would you react if the person who laughed the whole time while they took that person from you suddenly appeared in this village, right where he is sitting now, and mocked you? If they paraded the body of your fallen hero around like a reanimated trophy?" He paused momentarily before continuing, "How would you respond to the person that tried to stand in your way?" Kirama's tone and expression were genuinely questioning now, he was having a hard time believing that Akito was so thick in the head as to say he wouldn't care.

"You don't know the damage that man can do to a village. I can almost certainly guarantee he will stab us in the back while we are dealing with Moon and he is a sure threat. We know that he is hostile to this village, all we know about this Daimyo is that he's an a**. I'm not trying to destabilize the village, I'm trying to keep it safe from a threat you can't even imagine. I'm protecting the Leaf from a man who severely threatened every village in this land when he wandered free." Kirama's words were determined and he would find it odd if Akito formed a negative response to it considering both of their positions.

James walked into the Office and heard them tossing coy insults at each other "Wow and these are the older Sanin?" She crossed her arms, not at all impressed at what she walked into "You think with all the wisdom that all of you have arguing insults would be unfathomable." She looked around at the Kage and at the rest of the Sanin in the room, she noticed that Teddy was in there as well. "I might be just a Jounin but I think that I'm strong and I'm here on behalf of my students."

Kirama shot James a quick glance, "This current conversation doesn't involve you. I already had someone concern themselves with my past. It would benefit you greatly not to repeat that mistake. And trust me dear, you don't know the meaning of the word strong yet. You'll find out eventually though, because it is going to scare you more than anything you've ever come across. Now please, we are working our way back to the task at hand so don't risk further escalation of this by saying anything right now. Please?" He asked calmly as he went back to waiting for a response from Akito.
PostPosted: Wed Jun 23, 2010 2:28 pm

Akito's mood suddenly snapped into his usual posture. "James! Glad you could make it. Never did thank for your... help... earlier. Let's, uh, keep what happened our lil' secret, eh?" He clapped his hands together in a prayer like form and closed his left eye. His hands moved up and down. He wanted to keep how bad his illness was getting from spreading around, at least for right now. "Kirama-Dono, I watched the men pin Mion-Sensei down, disarm her, beat her, then stripped the body of her skin, while alive. Her screams still like to pop up in my head on the rare occasions I try to sleep. My father's head was placed on a pike as a trophy. I know the pain, I know the hatred. I found the gang that spearheaded everything. Yes, I should have killed them. Call me whatever you like, but I won't allow myself to stoop to their level. It's not like they didn't get away unscathed, but I won't let anything change who I am. If I change, I may hurt those that are still around, counting on me: a mother that doesn't speak, a sister who's now blind. If this woman of yours did die honorably, then her soul has already returned to the earth. She's probably at peace. The shell carried around by your enemy is nothing more than a mindless puppet. She and that thing have no connection anymore." Despite his appearance, Akito was actually very spiritual, in more ways that one. He could actually commune with the spirits of the departed, if they moved on and seeped back into the Earth's soil.

"Weather you like it or not, I'd rather not have blood spilled here because of personal matters. I've seen this man's influence first-hand. Took a lil' personal trip back there right before the b*****d took over. But... as I said, the guy likes to work from the shadows. We may not be able to assault him directly... but if we take the initiative to win the people over before he can make a move, we win. And I'd like to include James with us as well. I've seen her handy work personally. Her mind's just as great as her a** body."

Teddy just nodded, "Moon, Wouldn't last a minute with any of us attacking it, its all true, We should attack now," he said as he looked at James. "Elder Sannin, sister are you serious? I hope you are referring to these Sannin, I am only 15 and still a Sannin," he said as he struck his tongue out at her and then paused.". Teddy smiled as he looked at James then to Kirama, " No, it was for the best, but for now I say we need to focus on the killing of the Wave," he said as he looked around again. Teddy kept nodding as he turned to Akito, "Your including me in this attack," he said.

"He still posses a threat." Kirama said of Valentine. "And I changed a long time ago. Too late to go back on that. In fact, I'd say it's impossible for me to go back to hiding behind my ANBU mask and not saying a word. Some people don't have the luxury of being able to put those kind of things behind them permanently. You're lucky you know, the entire process of Ciara being gutted, the blood over my hands as it flowed down the hill. It plays back in it's entirety every time I close my eyes. I'm glad that you were able to overcome your situation, but that doesn't change my position does it. I never got a single chance to avenge her and I'm sorry, but the idea that she is dead doesn't dull the pain of seeing her being paraded around. I don't think there is anything I could possibly do to him that would bring me down to his level." He said as he fell silent.

The events began to play again in his head, completely out of his control. After a few minutes he seemed to snap out of his daze and stood. He headed straight for the door, not looking at anyone, and made his way utterly silently down the stairs outside. He felt an overbearing sense of being alone. He hadn't seen his wife Rin or daughter Haruka in ages, and was starting to wonder where they were. He was worried about them both. He also didn't feel welcome in Leaf anymore at the moment. The nin here didn't care about him and, with the exception of Sayra, no one here would defend his stances. In fact, they all seemed to be against him and would probably turn away his help.

The disruption of his conflict with Raigo left him feeling betrayed by everyone there, if only for the fact that none took his side. They all seemed content to let the man walk away and it made him sick. Qastor had once again stepped in and ruined something, namely the Hokage position, that Kirama cared about. To tell the truth Kirama felt jealous. When Kirama was Hokage he was dealing mostly with rowdy Genin, even with Kazuma he didn't have anyone around that was nearly as loyal as Akito and no one seemed to care when he left or returned. If anyone decided to follow him they would see him walking along side a massive white tiger, headed for the gates. He stared up at the huge, weathered, carving of his own face in the side of the cliff face as he went and sighed.

(Ciara wasn't Kirama's wife. Kirama's wife is still alive.)
