I'm 18. I'm a senior in high school [graduating in May]. I work as a cashier at JC Penny's. I'm going to be attending Lansing Community College next year to study Japanese and have intentions of studying abroad. Afterwards, I'll be teaching either English in Japan or Japanese here. I've been a Diru fan for three or four years now. I've been with the guild for two years.
My favorite songs are Fukai, Macabre, and Merciless Cult, my favorite PV is Cage, and my favoritre poem is Bed. Kyo is my favorite member because as a singer he's got an amazing range an ability to convey emotion that I just don't experience with other foreign bands, as a writer he's got a very... almost self-centered style that appeals to me, and as a performer he's so completely devoted to his work that it's almost scary to watch.
Arrgh. I've been to one concert and by the end of next week I'll own all of their cds. My fan-ness is sort of winding down into just studying lyrics, and every now and then I'll do some translation work myself if I don't feel like the unofficial copies transliterated right.
... That's about it.

Hello I am new as you can see.You can call me Scorch or Kogasu.It dosen't matter.Eh I LOVE DIR EN GREY!!Well basically this is how I got into Dir En grey.It's pretty short.Well basically one day I thought that I wanted to get into more bands just because well I didn't have very many bands that I liked so I remembered that there was a band called Dir En Grey.I never listened to them I had just heard the name and thought oh kewl but that one day I decided to listen to them via Youtube so I searched for them and picked a random video which just so happened to be "Saku" As soon as I heard that I song,I LOVED them.The rock was so dark and AWESOME.So that's basically it.Ehh as for my favorite songs I have a few.I like "Saku","Hydra",and "Machiavellism" So umm there is meh story thing.

Hello my name is Batsu, but I am a mule!! I am also Purity9 lol so I'm actually a chick, I just thought it'd be fun to have a guy character too on here ^_^ I'd prolly be better to reach at the purity account so PM me there first.
What got me into Diru: my friend showed me Marmalade Chainsaw, Mask, Tsumi to Batsu and by the time she got to Obscure on the mix CD she had I was hooked (I have to say, it was the vocals and the guitar that nudged my decision along ^_~).
Fav song: umm... >< *tries to pick one* Yokan, Sajou no Uta, Mr. Newsman, Obscure, The fatal Believer and Namemakashiki Ansoku[...] from TMOAB, umm... I'm going to end the list here before I bored you tod eath ><
Fav. Album: I'm going to say Gauze, Kisou or Vulgar.

Hello there I am are is Yashy. 8B I'm a huge Diru junkie. XDDD
I actually got into them accidently when I was downloading from Limewire and the song wasn't what it was supposed to be. It was Obscure insted of whateverthehellIwasmeaningtodownload. Whichever, I screwed over everything else and made way for Dir en Grey.
My top fave songs happen to be:
1. Machaivellism
2. Hydra
3. Obscure
4. Grief
5. Child Prey
An album of mine would be:
The Marrow of a Bone, OR, Withering To Death.

Hiya. I suppose it doesn't matter what you call me- anything that makes it clear you're speaking to me is fine, and if you get to know me, I'll share my real name.
The Basics:I'm a girl sweatdrop ,and I will be 18 in June! I play guitar. I have for a while, and I don't see myself stopping anytime soon. I don't really want to become a musician. It would be wonderful to be a guitarist, but I play for the love of music. I'm friendly until I'm given a reason not to be, and I'm always up to lend someone an ear. I live for music, and for making myself and others laugh. That's about it for now.
How I got into Diru: A friend played a couple of their songs years ago while were were just relaxing and listening to music. I liked them, but that was kind of the end of it. I would listen to their songs if I ran across them, but I had no idea who they were. I was a half-fan. Then, I went to the FVT, and had NO idea Diru were playing! I ended up in the pit, and the rest is history!
Favorite song:Garden, nuff said... I also really like the slower songs (embryo, ain't afraid to die). But, then again, there's nothing more fun than blaring Clever Sleazoid, THE FINAL, or Grief in the car with the windows down on the freeway xd . Good times.
Favorite Album: I've always liked Kisou, but now that I have The Marrow of A Bone, that one is really starting to grow on me.
Favorite Member: I don't have one. I like them all equally- they all have something unique and amazing to contribute to Dir en grey, and they are all extremely talented musicians.

Basic - Hey there, my names Ryo, female, turning 17 in may ( cha!) I mostly lisen to music around the world, mostly Japanese and German. I'm usally very shy however I'm also a good lisener and usally nver juge others..Or so I'm told.
How did you know about Dir en Grey? - I was doing a report on child abuse, and google gave me a link to one of their song lyrics. I just loved it..And like any other interested music kid I found out more about them. Its been three years since then.
Favorite Song - The Final, Child Prey, and Katsumi (Sp? I think it's right)
Album - Withering to Death
Member - To be truthful? I do love Die and Hizumi. However ont he Stage of course its Kyo, he is fun tow atch and has a very interesting past on how the band was formed.

The Basics: Umm... I'm Raven, I poke things. I'm a girl I turned 19 last January. I'm usually quiet and shy around new people but once I get to know people I'm fairly easy going and my hyper giddy side comes out. I like to think I'm a nice person and I try my best to be there for my friends when they need me. My Chinese Zodiac is the Rabbit. 3nodding
How I got into Diru: I found out about them not long after I found out about Gackt who I found by accident when I was looking for yaoi useing Kazaa or some program like that. sweatdrop Yeah, a site I was reading up on stuff about Gackt also had a Dir en grey section and that's how I found out about them.

Konnichi wa. My name is Raven or Ebony, whichever anyone prefers. I'm really no good at introductions, but this is who I am. I'm usually quite reserved, so if you want to talk, get to know me a little, ask about my art, or my new job or something. DO NOT ask me jokes or where I live. Do not make fun of me because Im a confused lesbian. Do not expect to just be added to my friendslist. I robably sound uptight now. But anyways, I am an artist who just wanted to learn more about the band. I love Dir en Grey, but there's still so much more I want to learn about them. I've been doing research on them recently, and then I wondered one day, I wonder if there's a Dir en Grey guild on Gaia, and here I am. I'll try to post art up; I just recently did one of DIE in a red toned sepia, though Kaoru is my favorite member. So, yeh, there's more to say, so just ask. I'm sure there's a lot I could tell you if you really wanted to know. As far as I can tell, that's all you really need to know for now.

Heyas! You can call me Mary. And I've been a Dir en grey fan for... a loooong time... Or at least it feels like it. I actually found out about them when I was searching for stuff about Malice Mizer, which was, for a few days, the only JRock band I knew of. But this website called Project J came up. (Anybody remember that one? ^_^) So anyway, that was my introduction to Dir en grey.
My favourite album is probably either Vulgar or Marrow of a Bone, though Kisou will always have a special place in my heart because it was the first one I owned.
There really aren't any Dir en grey songs that I don't like, but my favourites include Karasu, Shokubeni, Bottom of the Death Valley, Grief, Namamekashiki, Itoshisa, dead tree, and The Final. And Ryoujoku no Ame. And Mazohyst of Decadence... ^_^;;; My cell phone ringtone is Yokan.
As for my favourite member... I love them all dearly. I used to be a big Toshiya fan, especially because of the AMAZING bass in Bottom of the Death Valley. Then for a while I didn't have a favourite... and then one day it came out of nowhere and smacked me in the face: WOW. Die. He's awesome. So I'm a Die fan, I guess. Couldn't tell you why... but I am.

Hello. My name is Yukitora. I've been a big fan of Diru since about march or may of last year, my friend found out about them when a album came with this bundle of things she got from this online site. She intorduced me to them but i wasn't too interested in them untill recently. on't have a fave album since I love all their work. I can't truly pick out one song by Driu I love to death but their are two of them. Ain't Afraid to Die and Child PRey. my Fav member has to be Kyo. I love his voice and things he does on stage and just the over all Kyoness that he is.

Hello,
I have been a fan of Dir en Grey going on four years now. They quickly grew to be my favorite band and have remained that way since then. I have been to see them at FVT (August 26th at Alpine Valley in East Troy, WI) and had tickets to see them again in Chicago on Feb 13, but our plans got cancelled to a freak blizzard. I now a anticipating seeing them for sure in Milwaukee on June 16th and most likely Chicago the day before.
