Celeste had heard the thoughts thrown at eachother, not that she had been prying, but her mind was always open to patients, just incase she picked up on any signal of distress.
It was a handy thing, she could catch it if the patient was lying or if they hadn't taken their medicine. It also helped her doctoring skills...maybe she should become a professional... What was she thinking! Back to the present.
She already knew Hiro was awake, and well enough for comprehensive thoughts, but Alyssa deserved a thank you as well. She didn't know the extent of her nrses powers, and Celeste didn't blame her at all."Thank you Alyssa, if you would excuse me. "
Celestial smiled graciously at the girl and gave a quick tug on one of her braids before walking over to Hiro. "Hello there, I'm Celeste. I'll be nursing you for awhile. You have a pain-killing spell on you, so you wont hurt, but you may feel uncomfortable. If you want or need anything tell me."
Celeste then gingerly began examining the newly awakened boy, careful not to seem invasive. After checking his pulse, heart rate and many other necessities, Celeste rearranged the sheets carefully.
"We have a TV, many games and recreational activities. Since I can't let you two out of this room, this limits you from pool and ping pong, but I can let you browse through our file of books and run to the library to get them for you. Anything you need I will get."
Celeste then heard something out in the hall. It was unusual for people to be in this section without a guide, and they wouldn't be making so much noise. Frowning prettily, Celeste excuse herself politely and made her way for the door.
She opened it onto a hysterical looking girl. Calmly, Celestial enclosed her hands in Celeste's pale ones, gently stroking their backs to bring a little bit of sanity to the girl. A solid physical touch was good forcalming down.
"Miss, I'm a nurse, can I help you? You seem to be in hysterics, that's not good for you you know." Celeste smiled shyly, slightly hesitantly, hoping that she would react to her good intentions.

Kaori had her head bowed, teeth clenched together tightly and her eyes locked shut. She nearly jumped out of her skin as someone grabbed her hands. Her eyes shot open again as she stared for a moment at the girl now before her. She swallowed hard, slowly taking in the woman's words. "I-I...!" she began, but quickly bowed her head, swallowing again as she tried to recover herself.
After a short while, she opened her mouth again. "M-my friend has been h-hurt and his robot said he o-only had three hours left b-but I couldn't find anyone to h-help!" she finally managed to gasp out. Her tail had curled tightly around her waist and her face was still covered in rapidly falling tears. "I-I don't know wh-what to do!" she wailed. "Th-there's poison in h-him!"

Hiro's purple eyes lazily opened again and rolled in the direction Alyssa's voice came from as he rethought what she'd told him mentally. But you're ok... right? he asked faintly.
Despite everything, he couldn't help worrying. But at least she'd sounded fine. She wasn't stammering or anything. He felt a wave of guilt wash over him as he suddenly realized she must have brought him to the hospital herself, ingoring her own injuries to do so. He exhaled slowly, shutting his eyes tightly again. How was he going to make this up to her?
He felt someone approaching and his eyes slowly opened again, glancing at the double image of a woman through his blurry eyes. He listened to her words silently, figuring she must have been the one who'd helped Alyssa, and stitched up his chest while he was sleeping. He smiled faintly at her. He honestly didn't feel up to playing any games currently, but didn't mind at all. "Th-thank you..." he said softly. "For everything.. you've done."
His eyes followed as she left the room, but he didn't mind. The only thing bothering him was his wings, but once he recovered enough, he could simply heal himself, or just wait like he had all his life for them to heal on their own. Other than that, he'd found Alyssa was fine, and that's really the main thing that mattered.

"Calm down miss, I can probably help but I need you to show me where he is." Celestial gently let some of her healing magic creep down her arms, lighting them a nice purple. It rushed from her fingertips into the girl, sending waves of calm and comfort her way.
She really is shaken. I can probably fix whoever he or she is in three hours, or at least steer them from the fatal problem. I'll need something to boost my powers slightly depending on how bad it is though. I need an energy drink...
Quickly, Celeste snapped herself back to reality and smiled at the girl. She carefully turned them around and stated walking down the hallway slowly, waiting for an indication of a room.
"Just point the room out to me and I'll do all I can to help. I can't promise anything, but we can try getting that poison out of their body... is it a boy or a girl? And I would like a name.."
She didn't want to rush too many explanations out of the obviously panicked girl, but she needed to know these things if she was going to help her friend.
"Oh wait, I don't even know you." Celestial smiled gently at the girl as they walked down the hallway, hoping for some answers.

Kaori sniffled softly as she heard the woman's words and nodded very slowly as she was ushered along. She paused for a second as she felt something odd, her eyes flicking towards the woman's glowing arms, and gradually she began calming down, bit by bit, after the initial surprise of seeing the glow in the first place. She bit her lip now, not believing she'd let herself break down like that. Her eyes were still wide though, as she gazed around nervously, trying to figure out what room she'd come from.
Hesitantly, she lifted her tear stained face slightly and sniffed the air softly, just once. Then her eyes focused on a certain doorway. "It's that one..." she said very quietly, but she was at least controlling her stammer now. "His name is... Shepard Miranda," she murmured again after a moment spent trying to recall.
She blinked slowly at the woman's last comment, mentioning suddenly that they didn't know each other. Kaori froze, then quickly bowed her head in greeting. "M-my name's Kaori parker," she said hastily, though her voice was still very quiet, just above a whisper. "I... joined not very long ago." She slowly raised her head again, wiping at her damp cheeks.

Celeste smiled at the frightened girl and reached for the door handle with one ungloved elegant hand. The door handle was only turned halfway before Celestial froze.
"His name is... Shepard Miranda"
Shepard? Like Gordon's...? She had been supposed to help! s**t. Mentally Celestial kicked herself and regained her calmness.
"Welcome Kaori," Celeste said with a gracious smile, "I've been here over a year, it's an amazing place. I hope you come to like it."
Celeste tucked a free strand of ebony hair behind one ear nervously. Her Violet eyes sparkled unnaturally as she carefully opened the door. A flood of screams flew through the air, catching her unbraced.
As a reflex, Celestial sent a silencing spell around the room, everything went quiet, the headache that had began to pound in her ears quieted down.
A bottle of energy drink mixed with magic booster and asprin appeared in her hand. Celeste down it fully in one go before she set it in the garbadge and came to inspect Sherpard.
Celestial got down on her knees beside his bed and went through the usual routine, check pulse, heart rate, difficulty in breathing... Before she even dared examine him with her magic. Her body settled down, her nerves relaxed and her energy tripled.
Smiling gratefully, she ended the silencing spell and placed three cool fingertips on the man's forehead. Her white magic spiraled down her arm and dove into his body. She grimaced at what she found. It would be pretty simple to remove, but consisted in a lot more pain then was necessary. A extra kick for the unexperienced healer trying to deal with Shepard's illness.
Sighing, Celeste pulled back and wiped her hands on a nearby towel, sending out a mind com to a nurse in the vicinity.
I need a sterilized needle, a clean roll of bandages and a needle. As well as 30 mg of number 482
"That should do it." Celeste turned to smile at Kaori. "I'm just waiting for some supplies then I'll get started."

Kaori trailed slowly behind her, hands nervously fidgeting with one edge of her jacket as she continued trying to calm herself. She glanced uncertainly as the woman paused halfway turning the handle and tilted her head slightly at her. But she blinked as she continued on as if nothing had happened and slowly nodded in agreement to the comment about coming to like it. Kaori really hoped she would.
Kaori winced as soon as the door opened, clamping her hands over her ears, but slowly pulling them away again as she realized the room had fallen silent. Her eyes were wide in wonder as she stared at Celeste. She was amazing! Kaori had never seen anyone like her before. She watched at the woman downed a drink and then moved towards Shepard on the bed.
She remained in the doorway as she watched the woman inspect him, returning to the nervous biting of her lip. She bit her tongue as Celeste grimanced, keeping herself from asking and distracting her by accident. Now that she'd finally found help, the last thing she wanted to do was ruin the proceedings.
Kaori looked to the floor anxiously, then glanced back up again as Celeste spoke. She nodded, smiling very faintly in return. "O-ok, thank you..." she said softly, feeling rather odd for breaking down like she had.

((I'm going to bed, I will continue tomorrow))
A knock on the door floated into the now silent room. A creak represented the wood opening onto a doctor pushing a tray infront of him. On it lay everything Celeste had asked for. The doctor was quite handsome with sandy blond hair and large sensitive green eyes. He looked concerned as he saw the struggling man on the hospital bed.
"Celeste..." the man said in a pleasent baritone, "This looks bad, do you need help? I'm free for the moment..." Celeste smile gratefully at the man but shook her white-capped head gently.
"No, I think I can handle it Doctor Smith." She nodded once at the Doctor and smiled as he left and closed the heavy door. She sighed then, her face losing it's cheerfulness. Celeste looked everything over then began to prepare the needle.
Jabbing through the top of the bottle of medicine, she flipped it over and carefully removed the exact right amount of liquid. Laying it down on the blanketed tray, she switched to the sterilizing packet, putting some alcohol on a cotton wad.
Marching over to the man, she slipped his shirt sleeve up over his elbow and tyed a string around his upper arm. She then swabbed at his vein with the cotton ball and carefully inspected it, making sure it was all sterilized.
She threw the cotton away then gingerly picked up the needle and returned to the side of the bed. Carefully she laid a holding spell on him, still Shepard. She removed the string, placed the needle and pushed. Normally you only increased the circulation when you took blood samples.. but this chemical needed it.
After pushing all the liquid into his arm, she removed the holding spell, deosited the needle and once more sterilized his arm. After a quick cleanup she set and alarm.
"Now we wait 5 minutes for it to spread, it'll push the poison to one part of his body, then I have to act rapidly or that body part will die completely. I just have to p***k him on that body part and suck out the poison. I already have an impresive immunity to this poison, I have immunity to most things. This way he gets healed and I don't have to experience the pain of the normal way of withdrawing the poison."

[Me too actually, so that's fine. ^^;]
Kaori jumped as she heard the door creak and quickly jumped out of the way as a doctor entered pushing a tray before him. She blinked at him, then quickly dropped her gaze to the floor, returning to her nervous fidgeting of her hands with her jacket. She listened silently to the pair's short conversation, feeling almost like she should leave and let Celeste work alone, but she knew her paranoia wouldn't allow that. She'd already left Shepard alone once, and she couldn't do it again.
So she simply set her back to a wall, sliding silently down it to crouch on the floor. Her arms wrapped around her legs and her chin rested atop her knees as she watched Celeste working in a kind of amazed horror. She winced as she watched the needle's contents empty into Shepard's arm, but couldn't look away.
She jumped slightly as Celeste suddenly spoke again and lifted her head slightly as she nodded. Kaori took in the words quickly, growing more anxious as she heard what had to be done. Her crimson eyes were wide as she slowly opened her mouth. "But you'll... be ok too, right?" she asked the woman uncertainly, eyes flicking between her and Shepard.
She breathed out slowly, tail still wrapped tightly around her waist. She was slightly pale, though it wasn't because anything was wrong. She was simply anxious about this whole thing and had been since she'd brought Shepard in. Her right hand slowly unwrapped from her legs and slipped into her pocket, clutching the stone inside. She closed her eyes for a moment and then glanced back up at Celeste, waiting silently for a reply.

((Holy splinter-toed spazzmice Batman, I got busier with my graduation than I had though. O.x Sorry for not roleplaying despite Effla's summer job - simply havn't had the time or energy to write any decent stuff. I'll try to make this sensible IC.. Somehow.. >.>))
Effla, a brown-locked elven girl, now stood at the main enterance of the Hospital. She certainly wasn't a familiar sight there - the only time she had been to the building was when she had signed in for her internship. Since then she had been next to impossible to find, had anyone gone looking for her.
In addition to the rareness of the event, Effla could gather looks for her temporarily odd appearence. Despite her elven heritage and long, pointed ears, she usually looked like a delicately built human girl. Now her brown hair had bits of wines and moss clung to it - looking almost as if they had grown in it rather than random trash. The right side of her face had something in it that looked like an irregular, green tattoo that spread to her pointed ear and neck and dissapeared under her shirt. Her deep green, plain tunic and dress of similar colour however seem clean. Her bare, greenish toes peeked under her skirt, along with the tips of her sandals.
The elf had an odd expression on her face, mostly because only the normal-coloured half of it showed any emotion and had a fully open eye. She added and awkward smile and a blush on the normal half as she walked to the place where she had been advised to wait for patients earlier, the front desk near the main enterance.

Shepard seemlying growled when he injected with the needle but slowly his hand relased from his chest. The posion was indeed heading to another part his body. It started to head to his left arm. He felt small pain in his left arm and som numbness. The posion was losing it effect. Hk-47 scanned Shepard. " Observation: Its the posion is heading to the master's arm. I advise cautaion. For chaos vampires blood is very acid like and is strong enough to burn through simple metals. I advise you to take thise bottle and feed it to him. It neturalizes the acid effects of the blood for a short while" said Hk-47.
It was a clear white lquid in a small bottle. Hk pulled out of his chest storage and handed it to them. " Note that I am only this to perserve my master. If any of you other meatbags had encountered this problem I would have put you out of your misery. How I enjoy blasting organic life" said Hk-47.

But you're ok... right?
Alyssa's dust colored eyes settled on the oxygen machine that was keeping Hiro's breathing at a regular pace incase he could not breathe on his own just yet; she finally realized how much damage she had done to him. If they hadn't stopped Alyssa would have killed him with another wave of telekinetic energy; it scared her some to think about it too.
"Yes..yes I'm fine. Now, rest up Hiro." She tugged on one of her braids uneasily after Celeste left to help another young lady whom seemed to be screaming; what the hell was going on? Alyssa couldn't help Hiro really if he needed it while she was away, but it looked like it was up to her to make sure Hiro kept healthy.
She turned back over in her hospital bed and stared down at the blood stained sheets with a soft glare. The red substance of her posession was dry enough for it to fall off; some of it at least. Sheepishly, Alyssa began picking off the dried blood, and let it fall into small heaps onto the floor.
She would wave her hand, and the particles would fly out the window obediently, but she had a weird sense of paranoia about her; Alyssa didn't like the though of Hiro's blood being on her bed like she would normally like...she was freaked. "Don't feel guilty Hiro..I did this on my own," she whispered, fiddling with the fine cloth that covered her bandaged legs and naked lower half. Alyssa had slipped off her jean skirt within that moment of silence between she and Hiro; it felt nice in an akward way.
The thought of Hiro being in the bed next to her with her skirt lying next to her beneath the cloth that kept the real damage that was done to her a secret; Alyssa had no intention of telling Hiro how badly she had gotten injured. He was worse off, and ALyssa was not one to complain about damage done to her; her mother taught her at least that much.
A pink tint rose to her cheeks as she thought more so into the idea; how could she think of something like that right now..? Her eyes shifted from the bed to Hiro, then over to the opened window where she noticed a small bluebird resting on the sill.
Alyssa hissed loudly, causing the bird to topple off the window and fly off into the sun. She giggled hatefully and spat onto the ground; the sun disgusted her in more ways than one. For some reason, birds never sparked her intrest either. They were annoying to Alyssa and couldn't seem to make any sort of decent music; that was her opinion at least.
She dragged her attention away from the sill and back to Hiro whom was looking up at her through his oxygen mask. "What are you staring at?" Alyssa asked quietly, her hand running down her braid cautiously; what was he thinking exactly? For once, she wasn't going to read his mind about anything; Alyssa was still to tired to use much of any energy right now.

Celestial noticed the robot talking and looked warily at him. She narrowed her eyes and swiped the bottle from his hand, instantly disliking him. She scanned the contents quickly and found no components that could hurt her.
Rapidly her hostile personality deflated and she became her normal, composed self once again. Celeste turned her head to look at kaori and smiled weakly, saying, "well I am in a hospital, so help can come fast. Besides, if I die who will take care of my daughter, God knows Kurai and Joy aren't very responsible godparents."
Celestial reached over to Shepard, gently laying a hand on his chin. She gingerly opened his mouth and popped the lid on the container with her left hand. She then positioned his head so she could pour the liquid excatly down his throat and proceeded to do exactly that.
After a quick measurement with her magic, Celeste confirmed that the liquid had worked. She picked up a small medical knife and pricked a whole in his skin just below his elbow. The nurse then carefully descended onto her knees and bent over shepard.
Celestial cradled his arm in her elegant hands and lowered her lips ver the cut, gently licking away the blood that had already began welling up. After airlocking it, Celestial began gingerly sucking on his wound, she could taste the distorted flavor of the blood, confirming the poison's where abouts.
Shortly, the blood came freely into her mouth, Celestial drank it all, until the flavor had changed to normal blood, all the poison had left his body. It had been quite a bit of blood she had swallowed, he would probably be light headed when he woke up.
Celestial stood up, slightly dizzy from the blood and placed the empty container on the tray. She then cleaned Shepard's wounds, smiling slightly in amusement at the visible hicky she had given him. After a quick bandage job, Celeste took his pulse rate once more, laid a cool cloth on his forehead and collapsed in the sofa at the edge of the room, trying to ignore the building fever she was getting.

Hiro had closed his eyes again as he focused on breathing. He'd never set foot in a place like this before. Where he came from, this type of machine didn't even exist, so he was very greatful for it now. His home was so... primitive compared to here. Maybe he and Yuki could return someday and show the occupants some of the wonderful things they were missing out on. With the constant fighting, an up to date hospital would be just the thing.
"Yes..yes I'm fine. Now, rest up Hiro."
He paused his thoughts of home as he heard Alyssa's voice in his head and he very slowly nodded, but was somewhat afraid that if he moved too much, something would mess up. He was definitely afraid to move his arm, having seen the needle in it when he'd glanced around earlier. He shivered slightly at the realization and winced as the movement hurt his injured wings. It was kind of funny, how something simply like a needle could make him so uneasy, yet he just shrugged off the fact his wings were currently destroyed and ribs had been broken.
"Don't feel guilty Hiro..I did this on my own."
He frowned slightly as he heard this, but was unwilling to disagree right now. He knew she could read his thoughts if he ranted mentally, so he settled for shrugging the thought away, but not before he'd responded with, You don't feel guilty either then. It was... both of us. He exhaled softly again, his eyes still closed as he just laid there on the bed. He was feeling rather helpless, to anxious to move.
He smiled faintly and glanced over at her as he heard her hiss. Then he blinked, shaking his head very gently. "Wh-why are you... chasing off harmless birds?" he asked with a small, weak chuckle.

Kaori's eyes flicked towards the robot in annoyanced as she bit her lip to keep from yelling at him again. She didn't want to do that in front of Celeste, for some reason... Instead she just sighed quietly, chin still resting atop the knees which she had drawn to her chest. But she couldn't help thinking how much she wished to tear the droid to pieces. She'd definitely tell Shepard he needed to get a new one once he woke up.
Kaori turned her attention back towards the older girl as she looked over the bottle and then spoke. She nodded her head slowly, but didn't quite understand. The only name that was familiar was Kurai, but that's because she'd stumbled upon a group of people who'd been searching for him at one point. Well, if he'd had a search party out looking for him, he certianly didn't seem very responsible.
She snapped out of the thoughts as she watched Celeste reach towards Shepard and empty the contents of the bottle into his mouth. Her eyes widened as she saw the woman lean forward and begin sucking out the blood. Kaori shivered slightly, unable to help herself, her arms tightening their hold around her legs.
She couldn't look away though, and her eyes still followed every movement made as she wrapped his arm, set the cloth on his head, and then collapsed onto a sofa. Kaori blinked at her a moment, then slowly got to her feet. "Um..." she began hesitantly. "Are you ok? Is there... anything I can do?"
She had managed to calm down a lot from when she'd first been found and now wished to maybe lessen her feelings of uselessness if it was possible. Her slender, black tail had even unwrapped from her waist a bit, the triangular tip flicking absently against her side.
