I think it's that you have to have been at the level of Vice Captain at some point. Or else your soul explodes like those other Shinigami that Aizen tried to Hollowify.

@Pad: No, I don't think so. Shinigami are really the only race that have very much ceremony, the other weapons don't require any such thing. It is a good question though.
@Maleficus: The Vaizard faction is an exclusive group within the guild, with some of the best role-players in the guild being members. It is an invite-only group also, so only their leader can invite you into their circle. Work for it, and you will eventually be one if you have any luck. Some other groups in the guild that are Elite invite-only:
--Zaigou (Shinigami only)
--Ravens (Bount Only)
There may be some more that I am not aware of.

Actually Ravens accept anyone from any race (at least that's how it would seem right now). They're led by a Bount though.
If you want to make a Shinigami Profile go to the Profiles Subforum. Copy the Stuff you need and then make a profile that says your name on it.
Alternatively JOIN ME. AND I SHALL MAKE YOU A GOD AMONG MEN!

It's supposed to mean. Become an Arrancar. Become my Fraccion and complete the Famous Fraccion Five and...erm...then we'll take on someone.
We're really rather stuck in Eighth Squad right now and someone just bullied my character into marching over to the Captain's Office. It's bad. It's BAAAAAD.

Why not leap in and save us all from that grizzly fate? You have a character in Squad Eight right?
Personally I'm not particularly looking forward to it, regardless of the fact I believe that high numbers will win just about any battle unless the other guy is either
A: ******** awesome
B: A horrid godmodder who dodges everything.
C: In a Stat Based RP.

And Kirin is still shikai-less and relatively weaker than most who would show up.. I could go uber-awesome-nekomata on someone, but that will only hold out for so long.

Well you could and that would save me from death.
Tansen boy was pretty firm with me. He was all like. YOU CAN TAKE YOUR FRACCION TO THE TRAINING GROUNDS IF YOU WANT!!! BUT THEY'LL DIE!! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH. And I cried. and cried. And my Fraccion still wanted to go as they said he was trying to scare us out of it so we went and when we got there there was nobody there so we waited and waited and waited for many months and still no-one showed up and I got another Fraccion, 2 in-fact. And still nobody showed up.
So basically it's been a disaster, specially considering part of the team was banned.
